"Oh, of course." Ryder took another bite and washed it down with a gulp of his drink."The question is, are you sick of them yet?" He asked with a laugh as he knew sometimes both Evan and Parker together could be a handful and compared to the both of them, he was the reserved one but he would guess that's what made the three of them such close and good friends.

Zoey laughed softly, "No i am not sick of them. They seem nice. I can see why you chose them to be friends with." She said as leaned back against her chair. Once they finished eating she cleaned up the dirty dishes, then put away the leftovers. Zoey looked at him, "So what would you like to do now?" She asked, looking up at him. She looked over at the counter as his phone started to go off.

Parker sat with Evan waiting for Ryder to pick up. He sighed as he took a sip of his beer, smirking at the sound of Ryder's voice, "Hey fucker what are you doing?" He asked, laughing.

Before Ryder could say anything, his phone started ringing and he saw it was Parker."Oh, I just had a fine meal with your mom, why? Did you need her to come tuck you in for bed or something?" He asked with a laugh as he idly drummed his finger on the counter top, his eyes shifting to look at Zoey's.

Parker laughed, "Fuck you. Me and Evan wanted to knpw how things went with Zoey. Also we wanna hang out." He said as he opened a beer. He paused for a moment, "Unless you are with Zoey now. Are you fucking?" He asked smirking.

Zoey rolled her eyes when she heard Parker talking then walked over to the kitchen table and sat down. She looked at Ryder, "They can come here. My mom is working all night." She suggested

Ryder snorted out a laugh."Yeah, because I would really answer the phone for you in the middle of that." He rolled his eyes as he knew that Zoey heard it and he wondered if she thought they talked about her in that way when she wasn't around. Ryder hummed as he mockingly thought."Zoey says you can hang out here but only if you bring us gifts otherwise we have no use for you."

Zoey smiled, "Ooo...tell them to bring good alcohol or they can't come in." She said as she leaned back against her chair. She heard Parker agree, then watched as Ryder hung up. "Well i guess we will have company soon." She said, laughing softly. A few minutes later she had someone knocking on her door. She opened it, letting Parker and Evan walk in with their stuff.

Parker looked at Zoey, "You are not aloud to steal our friend." He teased her. Zoey crossed her arms, "Well it appears i already have so i guess you lose." She joked, smiling at Ryder.

Ryder reached out, gently patted Parker's cheek."And she's so much more prettier than you or Evan." He teased with a laugh as he grabbed a beer from Evan's hands, popping the top and gulping down half."Were you two lonely without me? That's so sweet."

Zoey smiled as she took a beer from the guys, laughing as they both said no simultaneously when Ryder asked if they missed him. "Aww!! You guys missed your buddy." She teased them, laughing softly. Zoey walked with them to her living room and sat on the couch next to Ryder. Parker looked around the place then looked at them, "So the restaurant was interesting earlier." He said, laughing.

Ryder took a sip of his beer and shrugged."Yeah, well, Mark deserved it." The only thing he hated about it was that it was in front of Zoey but he knew his little secret would come out at some point. He was sure the gossip about what happened had spread like wild fire after it happened.

Zoey looked at him, "Yea he's kind of a dick. Why is everyone like that in this town?" She asked as she relaxed on the couch. She couldn't get over how isolated some of the groups where in such a small place. She kind of figured mostly everyone would get along great, but it appeared that wasn't the case.

"Hey! We're not all dicks." Evan pointed to the drink Zoey was holding."We brought you beer. We never show up empty handed." He teased with a laugh. Ryder laughed as he took a sip of his drink."I think it's such a small town that no one wastes their time in being nice if they don't want to be. We've all grown up with the same people year after year. Mark, though, has always been the biggest douche. It's all he's ever gonna be." Ryder shrugged as he looked to Zoey."I can't believe you called me dick." He tsked her with a smile.

Zoey looked at him, "Well if you talk to other people that is what they say. Though it will be okay because you are nice to me." She said, smiling. She looked at Evan, "We can keep you around as well because you always come baring gifts." She said, laughing softly. She took a sip of her beer and leaned against Ryder. She was growing to like him more and more each day. She hoped that he was feeling the same way.

Ryder raised an eyebrow as he took a sip of his beer."And what do people actually say about me?" He asked with a smirk. He had heard it all and he could guess a few more things people say but no one had ever confirmed it and having Zoey as Monica's cousin, well, she had most likely heard it all first hand. Evan pressed a hand to his heart."I knew you liked me most. Wanna blow these idiots and go to your room?" He winked at her and Ryder kicked Evan's shin with his shoe."What for? So you can text me and Parker every five minutes wondering what to do with a girl?"

Zoey looked at him, "It's not important." She said. She didn't want to sit there and tell him all the awful things people said about him. She looked over at Evan, deciding to mess with him. "You know Evan if you need some help i would totally take you upstairs and teach you some things." She said in a serious tone. She watched as Evan looked at her like she was serious. She smiled then laughed softly. Evan narrowed his eyes, "You are evil." He said.

Parker pointed towards Zoey."Which of us three would you take upstairs?" He asked with a smirk knowing the looks and the closeness between Ryder and Zoey had been budding since she had gotten into town but whether the two would go for it or not, he didn't know but maybe this would kick start that as he was sure the two had yet to talk about the tension growing between them. Ryder groaned as he shook his head."You really don't have to answer that." He said to Zoey, not wanting to embarrass her or put her on the spot. Parker shushed Ryder."She doesn't but it's just among friends here, nothing to be shy about."

Zoey looked at Parker as he asked her which guy she would take upstairs. She took a sip of her beer, looking over at Ryder when he told her not to answer. She looked at Parker, "Ryder." She answered. "Evan is too sensitive and you look like the guys i've dated in the past and they were assholes." She said. Evan stared at her, "Sensitive! I am not!" He yelled, frowning as Parker laughed at him.

"You sure about me?" Ryder asked with a smile."I've heard some of the things Parker can do in the bedroom. You'd be missing out." He teased with a laugh because he wasn't totally sure if she was only picking him because she didn't choose Parker or Evan or if it was something more for her because he did have a bit of a thing for her and both Parker and Evan knew."But Evan, remember that time that we got stuck playing Seven Minutes in Heaven and you got chosen to go with Stephanie Rakeshaw and you hyperventilated and puked all over her dress?" Ryder chugged the last bit of his beer.

Zoey looked at him, "Yes i am very sure." She said, laughing softly. She looked over at Evan after Ryder talked. She laughed and shook her head, "Now that is funny." She said, laughing again. She finished her beer then set the bottle down. Evan looked at Ryder, "What happened to never speaking of that again?" He asked, shaking his head. "You are just going to tell her everything aren't you?" He asked.

Ryder laughed as he stood up and grabbed another beer."Remember the time that Parker got caught fucking the quarterback's sister and jumped from the second story with nothing but his socks on and we were down there trying to break his fall and he ended up breaking his pinky?" He ruffled Evan's hair."Dos that make you feel better? Now, she knows something about Parker too." He teased as he took a sip of his beer.

Zoey laughed softly at what Ryder said. She looked at him, "You guys are pretty interesting." She said smiling as she relaxed against the couch. She ran her fingers through her hair as she watched the guys. Evan looked at Ryder, "You know we have dirt on you too." He said.
