Zoey nodded and ordered them a pepperoni pizza. She walked out back after she was done and smiled as she watched Apollo running through the yard. "She certainly likes my yard." She said, laughing softly as she sat on the chair that was on the porch. She ran her fingers through her hair as she watched Ryder.

Ryder nodded with a smile and shrugged."She's never had a lot of room to roam around like I wish she did. It's also why I don't like her being chained outside, it makes her anxious." If his dad had it his way, Apollo would have been gone a long time ago but Apollo made living there bearable and it made him remember Zoe finding Apollo chained to the steps and how pitiful the dog looked.

Zoey smiled at him, "Well i'm glad that she likes it." She said. She watched him, "I'm glad you are staying here. I was worried that you wouldn't have somewhere to go." She admitted. She didn't know why she was so into Ryder. He wasn't a bad guy at all.

Ryder glanced over to Zoe, shrugging."I'm sure I would have found somewhere to go, doesn't mean I would have liked it though so this is the best option." Which was sure, he would have probably headed back home in a day or two, having hear his dad berate him for having to crawl home because he had no where permanent to go.

Zoey frowned, "You shouldn't have to wander every time your dad decides to be an asshole though.' She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. She hated that he didn't have somewhere permanent to go.
