Office Romance

Staring at her best friend, Johanna stared at Ellie. "Ellie." Johanna stared at her. "I honestly, think you need to go back to the hospital. This isn't a rib kick. I've seen it." Johanna told her best friend.

Jethro stared at Tim and shrugged, "I am unsure. I think Ellie is in labor, but being stubborn." Jethro whispered back to Tim.

Tim looked at his boss. "Should you step in and do or say something?" He asked, watching as Johanna became very stern with her best friend.

Ellie stared at the young woman. "Jo." She called her by her nickname. "I. am. fine." She didn't lose eye contact with her. She heard Tim and Jethro whispering, but she didn't dare move.

Sighing, Johanna shook her head. "You know what the doctor told you." She pointed a finger as she took and sat down in her seat. "Oh for the love of all things." Johanna looked at the two men. "Quit whispering over there, and sit your asses down so we can eat." Johanna told them looking at Ellie not saying another word. Knowing her friend wouldn't budge and go to the hospital.

Jethro sat down beside of Ellie watching them. Shaking his head a little he smiled as he looked at everyone. "Shall we?" He motioned towards the food.

Tim said nothing, he just sat down. He looked to Johanna, "Honey are you okay?" He asked concerned.

Ellie sat down, nodding at her husband. She kept a hand on her stomach as she started to dish out food for everyone.

Nodding her head, "I am fine." She simply replied.

Jethro helped Ellir give the food out.

Tim just stared at his wife. He knew something as up. "Johanna...." He said, just looking to her.

Ellie smiled at Jethro, taking a moment when she felt another pain. "Mmm." She whispered.

Staring at her, Jethro shook his head a little. "Honey. I think you need to go." Jethro told Ellie.

Johanna looked over at Tim. "I. Am. Fine." She said slowly but too calm.

Ellie sighed softly. "Jethro, don't start with me." She got up from the table, walking upstairs. She was down with everyone telling her that she needed to go. She moved to their bedroom, sitting down on the bed. Turning on the TV, she sat back on the bed, rubbing her belly.

Tim looked to Ellie as she got up and left them. He then looked to Johanna. 'Wanna try that again?" he asked.

Ignoring her husband. Johanna got up and followed Ellie upstairs. Tapping on the door she looked to her best friend. "You ok, Ellie?" Johanna questioned her frowning. "I'm sorry for snapping at you. I was worried." Johanna told her softly.

Ellie looked to her best friend walk through the bedroom door. "I'm fine." She said as she rubbed the side of her belly. She didn't know what to really say.

when she left, Tim looked to his boss. "Um..." He said. "What just happened?"

Nodding her head softly, "Again, Ellie. I truly am sorry. I panicked and my horomnes went nuts." Johanna spoke softly. "I'm going to get Tim and head home. Again I am sorry." Johanna apologized twiced. Walking away she headed downstairs slowly. Staring at her uncle she frowned. "I'm sorry for snapping at you and Ellie." Johanna spoke softly. "I think it's best if Tim and I go for the night. Thank you for inviting us, Uncle Leroy." She whispered hugging him before disappearing and leaving to go to the car.

"I am not sure." Jethro looked at Tim when his niece left to go Tim and hers car. "Hormones was one thing." Jethro spoke to Tim. "If you need me call me. I need to check on Ellie." Jethro told her.

Ellie didn't say anything. She just watched her friend leave. Laying down on the bed, she looked at her phone. She was just waiting for her husband to come up here. She kept rubbing the side of her belly as she winced a little more.

Tim said his good byes, grabbed food to take home for them, and then got in the car. Once in, he looked to Johanna. "Baby...you okay?"

Heading upstairs. Jethro stopped staring at his wife, "Darling." Jethro told her softly as he took and walked inside and looked at her. "Are you sure you're alright? I don't want to annoy you. I am just worried." He assured her.

Johanna glanced over at Tim nodding her head slowly. "I am." Johanna told him softly sighing. "I don't know what happened, Tim. I was worried and angry all at one. It all just came out. I hate the fact I hurt Ellie and my uncle. I feel like a stupid idiot." Johanna whispered out.

Ellie looked over to Jethro, nodding. "I am fine." She said as she sat up once again. "But Jethro, I need you to get my bag." She finally said. She wasn't leaving, but she just wanted it.

Tim frowned. "You are not an idiot. Maybe call Ellie tomorrow and talk with her."

Nodding his head, Jethro walked into the closet and got her bag. Walking over to the bed he sat it beside of her on the bed. "There you are honey." Jethro told her softly.

"I'll try." Johanna whispered squeezing his hand. "I am sorry I was ill with you as well." Johanna apologized.

"Thank you." Ellie said with a sweet smile. She slowly sat up on the bed, just looking to him. "What are you thinking about?"

"Its okay. I am just concerned about you." Tim said and kissed her.

Jethro glanced at his wife, "The day little man comes." Jethro told her. "And the fight between you and Johanna." Jethro frowned.

"I'm fine, I assure you." Johanna whispered staring out the window sighing.

Ellie looked to him."Things are going to be fine." She reassured him as she sat up on the bed. "And when do you think this little man comes?" She asked, wondering if he was thinking that she was in labor.

"Alright...if you say so." Tim said as he drove home.

Jethro looked at her, "I am not sure. I guess when he decides to come. I just hope soon. I know you're ready. I am ready too. To meet him and hold him." Jethro smiled.

Once they arrived home. Johanna walked inside as she placed her things on the table. Remaining quiet she went about cleaning a little and doing the dishes. Once she finished that she decided on doing some of their laundry. Things she did when she was upset or mad, or worried.

Ellie looked to him and smiled, nodding to agree with him. "I would love if he would just come already." She leaned back against the bed, rubbing her belly. "I feel like this has been the longest pregnancy ever." She said, laughing lightly. She looked at the time, then looked at phone. She thought about texting Johanna, but didn't know what to do. She was at such a loss.

Tim watched as they went inside. He kept a close eye on his wife as she moved about the house. Knowing her and how she was, Tim could tell that she was upset. "Johanna..." He spoke, walking up to her. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
