It was going to be a long day, at least that's how she was feeling. It was 5 in the morning and Ellie Bishop felt like she didn't get any sleep at all the night before. However, that was almost nothing new to her. For the last 3 months, sleep was one thing she battled with. A lot of this had to do with the fact that her husband, Jake Mallory, had cheated on her. At this point, Ellie knew that her marriage was going to end. Getting up from the bed she had been staying in at a local hotel, Ellie went to the bathroom where she took a shower to wake herself up more. She then quickly got ready for the day, glancing down at her iPhone she checked the weather seeing that it was going to be sweater weather. Smiling to herself, Ellie pulled a sweater from the closet before slipping it on. She then took a minute to look at least and sighed. She knew she was going to have to say something soon, but she just wasn't ready. She was afraid if she said anything, things wouldn't be going as smooth as she felt it had been going. Checking the time, Ellie picked up her car keys and other belongs then head out. Once to her car, she got in and drove to the office. When she got there, she walked in and smiled to herself. She knew it was going to be quiet, which gave her time to just relax. Taking the elevator to her floor, Ellie stepped out and went straight to her desk. She sighed as she took a sip of the water she had got this morning when she picked up her breakfast. She really missed coffee, but just couldn't drink it; it didn't sound good lately.

Tim groaned as he woke up from his alarm clock. It was 6:00 in the morning. Turning to Delilah who was still sleeping, he reached over and kissed her check. He then slid out of bed, made his way in the bathroom and got ready for the day. A little while later, Tim walked out of the bathroom looking fresh. His teeth brushed, hair done, and now was going to his closet to quickly pick out a button down dress shirt and black dress pants. Without wasting anytime, he quickly changed into his work clothes for the day, then made his way into the kitchen. He now started the morning routine - first he gets up, gets ready for the day, then goes downstairs to start breakfast. While he would be getting breakfast ready for Delilah and himself, while Delilah would get up and get herself ready for the day. However, Tim was always an ear shot away in case she needed something. Since moving in together, Tim wanted nothing more to help Delilah the best he could, without taking away any of her independence. Once breakfast was cooked and set on the table, Tim took a quick sip of his coffee then made his way back to their bedroom. A wide smile danced across his face as he leaned against the bedroom doorframe as he watched the love of his life get ready for the day. If he was being honest, Tim didn't know what he'd do if he didn't have Delilah. Deciding that he was quiet long enough, Tim gently cleared his throat, still smiling. "Good Morning." He spoke softly, now stepping into the bedroom and making his way over to her. "How did you sleep?" He asked before giving her a gentle morning kiss.

It was a typical morning, just like any other morning for Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Or as many of his co-workers and friends called him. Gibbs. Running his hand over his white head. A dreadful sigh escaped his lips. It wasn't everyday that a man that was facing death, escaped and got to love his life. Going about his normal routine, shower, dress, head to the coffee station. Getting his normal brew for the day, and stopping along the route to get Abby's normal caffeine fixation for the day. Caf-Pow. Arriving at the headquarters, Gibbs walked swiftly onto the elevator taking a sip of his coffee. Once the doors opened up he walked off at his floor and saw Bishop already there and at her desk. "You alright Bishop?" He questioned noticing that something had been off with the younger woman for a while now.



Delilah pushed some of her darkened brown hair away from her face after placing the last flat shoe onto her foot. Hearing Tim's voice, she wheeled herself around smiling at the man. Returning the gentle kiss back she shrugged her shoulder. "I slept ok." She told him before finishing getting ready for her day at work. She knew he'd made breakfast for the two of them and it smelt amazing. Her routine was to get ready, eat, get to work. Once she left work, she'd always come home and prepare them a meal for dinner. She smiled motioning Tim to lean down as he did so. She wrapped her arms lightly around his neck, kissing his lips. She was beyond thankful to have this man in her life, and everything she'd been through.

Ellie looked to Gibbs when she heard someone approached their area. She looked directly at him, blinking away her tears that she fought to hold back. "Y-Y-Yeah...just didn't sleep." She said, being 50% truthful on that. She looked at his coffee cup, and sighed before taking a drink of water. She couldn't even stand the smell of coffee anymore either. "I'm just having issues sleeping st the hotel anymore." She didn't have anywhere else to go through.

Tim nodded and smiled as he leaned down to her. "Well I always sleep wonderful with you next to me." He said with a charming grin. He then pulled back to let her finish getting ready for the day. "I'll be waiting for you in th kitchen." He said before kissing once more. He made his way to the kitchen and sat down waiting on Delilah. He truly knew how luck he was and he was very thankful for every minute of his life. Looking at his phone, Tim quickly shot a text to Ellie asking if she needed anything before he came in for the day. He then took another sip of his coffee and smiled.

Looking her over, Gibbs shook his head. There was more to her story she was saying. But he wasn't going to push for her to tell him. He gave her a gentle smile, "If you want to stay at my house. You're welcome too." Gibbs patted her shoulder lightly. Walking onward he headed into the lab handing Abby her drink. He kissed her cheek before going to his desk to do some reports before it got hectic.

Smiling to herself, she wheeled into the bathroom and finished up. She wheeled out and and into the kitchen. She put her wheelchair in the spot she always had it in for their meals. Grabbing her coffee mug she smiled at Tim before taking a sip of her coffee. "Thank you." She replied softly to him as she began eating with him.

Ellie smiled, thanking Gibbs quietly as she started her work for the day. Staying with Gibbs did sound like a great idea, but would it be appropriate. She would think more on it, but knew that more than likely she would be staying with Gibbs. However, she knew she would have to talk Gibbs about something. Once Gibbs walked away, Ellie slipped into her bag, pulling out some vitamins. She quickly took them then put the bottle away before anyone noticed. After that she got to work.

Tim smiled even more when Delilah came into the room. He motioned for her to come over to the table and then handed her a cup of coffee. He knew easily how she liked her coffee to be more. He started eating breakfast with her while doing a mental check of what needed to be in the office today. It never failed, McGee felt like Gibbs' Team was always behind on paperwork, and that had always been a pet peeve of his. "So what do you have planned today?" He asked her as he took a bite of his toast.

Returning to his floor, Gibbs walked to his desk. Smiling at Ellie he sat down at his desk beside of hers. "You sure you're ok, Bishop?" Gibbs looked at her with his knowing look. He knew something was off. He just couldn't place what it was. He took and cleared his throat a moment. "Anything you need to talk about?" He questioned.

Looking up from her plate, Delilah smiled at Tim. "Just work, you know. The usual." She smiled at him taking another sip of her coffee. "What about you?" She asked him smiling at her boyfriend. "Other than work, what do you have planned?" She smiled taking a bite of her toast.

Ellie looked at Gibbs when he asked her once more is she was sure that she was okay. She took a deep breath in then out, knowing that she probably needed to tell him. Especially if she was thinking about staying with him. It would only be right if she told him, it would be the right thing to do. When he asked if there was anything she needed to talk about, Ellie looked around realizing that it was just her and Gibbs around...that this may be the right time to tell him. Take another sip of her water, Ellie looked down at her midsection for a quick second, then got up, slowly making her way to Gibbs' desk. "Well Sir..." She said softly as she sat on the corner of his desk.

Tim looked to Delilah and shrugged. "Well, I don't know. If it was my way, I would prefer to be at my desk finishing my paperwork...and I know that I am not the only NCIS Agent to think that way." He chuckled. "Ellie has been trying to finish her paperwork all week, but just when we think that we can sit down and continue...something happens." He said as he took a bite. "But other than that, there is really nothing else that I have planned." He smiled as he glanced at his phone, seeing it was Abby. A small smirk pressed on his face as he quickly responded. "And now Abby is wanting, if we can, to have the whole team do lunch together, and she says that if you're available, you should come too!" He looked up to her.

Gibbs looked at her when she sat on the corner of his desk. He knew something was bothering her. But he just couldn't put his finger on it. "Ellie. What is bothering you?" He questioned her. He stared at her, giving her the all knowing Gibbs look. He needed answers.

Delilah laughed and nodded her head. "I'll be sure to clear my schedule so that I can be there." She smiled at Tim. She finished up and took their plates over to the dishwasher. She smiled kissing Tim's lips, "I love you. Be safe." She told him as they parted ways for work.

Ellie looked to Gibbs, biting her bottom lip. Seeing Gibbs give her the all knowing look, it made her realize she had to tell him even more. She took a small deep breathe in then released it. "Okay you can do this." She mumbled to herself. "I'm pregnant." She said softly, waiting for a response from him.

"Great, she will be so excited." Tim smirked. He watched her as she too their plates to the dishwasher. When she came back and kissed him, Tim just smiled, kissing her back. "I love you too." He said then they parted way. Quickly grabbing his things, Tim drove to NCIS. When he got into the building, he took the elevator up to his floor.

"Wait, you're pregnant?" Gibbs questioned her a moment. "So, you're pregnant?" He asked again slightly in shock. "Have you told Jake this, Ellie?" He asked her concerned for her. He cleared his throat. "I want you on desk work for a while. Just to be safe. And don't fight me on it or get mad." He warned her.

Delilah went into the building and began working. She smiled at her co-workers as one joked about her and Tim like normal. She laughed shaking her head. "When is he going to propose to you?" She questioned.

Delilah shrugged her shoulders smiling at her. "I hope soon." She admitted seeing their boss walk in and said that they had to go to NCIS. She didn't oblige. It just meant she got to spend the day with Tim.

Ellie looked to Gibbs, almost wanting to roll her eyes when he asked her a couple of times if she was pregnant. She just nodded, then sighed softly. "I have told him. But it doesn't really matter...we're separated and I can do this on my own." She spoke softly. When he told her that he wanted her on desk work, Ellie wanted to argue with him, but knew it wasn't worth it. "Sir, I don't think that's necessary...but I won't argue with you...there's no point." She mumbled. She then looked at the clock on Gibbs' desk seeing it was close to the time when everyone would start walking in. "We can talk more about this later." She said softly. Just then Tony DiNozzo walked in with his usual chipper and charming smile. "Good Morning Boss....Bishop." He then stopped seeing Ellie on Gibbs' desk. "Did i interrupt something?" He asked, dropping his charming smile. Ellie eyes Gibbs for a minute then looked sate tony and shook her head. "No I was just chatting with Gibbs here." She said, putting a smile on her face. She started getting off Gibbs' desk, her small bump revealing against her shirt to Gibbs.

When Tim stepped off the elevator, he saw Ellie and Gibbs talking, and what seemed to be a very serious conversation. Not wanting to interrupt them, Tim took his belongings and headed to Abby's Lab. He decided he owed her a visit and now would be the best time. Walking into Abby's Lab, a small smile danced on his face as he caught her dancing around the office to her music. "Oh, McGee....Good Morning. I wasn't expecting you this early. Everything okay?" Abby asked. Tim nodded and smilez. "Yeah, I thought I'd come down and say good morning. Plus Gibbs and Ellie are having a serious conversation and I didn't want to intrude on them." Abby nodded. "Gotcha. Well thanks for coming. Did you talk to Delilah about lunch today?" Tim nodded and smiled. "Yes, and she said she is looking forward to it." He said. Abby cheered happily. "Wonderful!" She exclaimed before taking a sip of her Caf-Pow.

Seeing Ellie's bump. Gibbs smiled to himself that she'd been so confident to come to him and tell him. He took and saw Leon motion him as he headed upstairs. Once inside of his office he heard Leon sigh. "We have a case." Leon told him. "Not one that I like either, Gibbs." He admitted handing him the file. Gibbs looked it over and saw it was a dead marine that he'd been talking to not long ago about some things that had happened two years ago. "How did this happen?" Gibbs questioned the information and sighed. He walked out and looked around. "Come on we have a case." Gibbs said.

Delilah took and smiled going off the elevator as Gibbs and Tony were getting on it. "Delilah." Tony smirked. "Tony." She grinned at him smiling. "Looking beautiful, Delilah." Gibbs smiled kissing the top of her head. She saw them leave and looked at Ellie, "So how come you're not going with them?" She smirked staring at the younger woman.

Ellie sighed a little to herself when she heard Gibbs walk back in saying that they had a case. It really bothered her that she was going to have to start staying at the office while the rest of the team left for the cases. She carefully sat down at her desk, logging back into her computer when she heard Delilah ask her way she wasn't going with them. Could she tell her? Ellie sighed, looking at Delilah. "Gibbs asked me to stay behind." She said, that being actually truthful, just not all of the truth.

As Abby and McGee chatted away, Tim's phone started ringing. It was Gibbs, telling him that they had a case and to meet them at the car. "Got it, Boss." He said before hanging up the phone. "Well duty calls." He said with a smirk. "Yep, and it looks like our team lunch date will now become team dinner date." Abby said with a smile. Tim nodded and kissed her cheek. "Sounds great." He then walked out of the room, heading to the parking lot. When he met up with Tony and Gibbs, an odd expression appeared on Tim's face. "Um, Boss, where's Bishop?" He asked.

Gibbs heard McGee and smiled at him. "She's doing desk work." Gibbs said getting in the charger. "How come?" Tony questioned.

"Because, she got on my bad side. I am making her do desk work. Is that a problem?" He snapped at them. Seeing them shake his head he nodded. He pulled out heading to the crime scene.

Looking at Ellie, Delilah gave her a look. She knew something was up but didn't push it. She felt someone attacking her in a hug and laughed hugging Abby. "There she is." Abby laughed smiling.

"Abs, what are you doing attacking me like that?" Delilah laughed. "Our secret is supposed to stay quiet so Tim doesn't find out." Delilah winked laughing shaking her head. She loved cutting up with Ellie and Abby when she was here.

Tim just nodded to Gibbs when he said that Bishop was doing desk work. He heard Gibbs when he told Tony the reasoning for it, but something just didn't seem right on that. Sure there has been times where all of them have gotten on Gibbs's bad sad, but he never put them on desk work. Not wanting to get the boss upset, Tim just got into the Charger and looking at the information that they had on the case. As he sat in the backseat, Tim couldn't help but eye Gibbs a little, but still said nothing.

"Bishop on desk work...that's so not like her." Tony finally piped up in the car. "Boss what did she do to get on your bad side like that for her to have to stay behind?" He was being nosy, but he also knew that he wasn't the only one that wanted to know.

Tim just rolled his eyes a little, of course Tony wasn't going to let this go. Tim just looked down at his phone, but was very curious to what Gibbs might have to say.



Ellie smiled when Abby walked up and attacked Delilah in a hug. "Good Morning Abby." She said as Abby finally let go of Delilah and tackled her in a hug. "How are you today, Ellie? Everything good?" Bishop heard Abby ask her, which caused her to almost go white. Could she tell her secret? A million questions began racing through her mind. Biting her bottom lip, Ellie carefully pulled out of the hug once Abby released her.

She looked to Abby, then Delilah before letting out a soft sigh. She then shook her head, no she couldn't do it. Not right now. Maybe tonight, but not right now. "Ellie, you never answered me, are you okay?" Abby asked once more. Ellie fought back tears and nodded. "Yeah, I'm just a little tired." She said as she got up. "I'll be right back, I need to make a phone call." She said as she walked to the elevator. She took the elevator down to the ground floor. She needed some fresh air. Pulling out her cell, Ellie dialed Gibbs' number, but stopped herself before hitting the call button. She couldn't do this, she couldn't call him....could she? She deleted the numbers off the phone pad, then decided to send Gibbs a text. She knew he wasn't a big texter, but she couldn't think of any other way to contact him.

Her text: Gibbs...I can't do this...who am I kidding to think I can do this alone..

Once she sent the text, Ellie sat down on the bench that was outside the NCIS building, waiting for an answer or sign.

When she left, Abby looked at Delilah. "Something is up with Bishop. I don't think I have ever seen her go so pale white before." She commented. She then sighed, knowing that Ellie would come around and tell them what was wrong, if something was up. She then quickly changed subjects. "So, since they've got a case to work on, instead of lunch with the team, I'm thinking a Family Dinner tonight....would do you think?" Abby asked, wanting to get someone's input on it. "I've already spoken to Jimmy and Ducky about it, and they love that idea. But I figured I would need to make sure everyone else is okay with that and doesn't have any plans of themselves tonight.

Gibbs looked at Tony and noticed him questioning him. He let out an aggravated growl and narrowed his eyes. "Tony. I am warning you to shut your mouth." Gibbs warned him. He heard his phone go off and took and looked at the message. He walked to the side calling Ellie. "Ellie." He told her. "I'll help you." He assured her.

Nodding her head, Delilah sighed. "Something isn't right. I am going to ask Tim about it." She looked at Abby and smiled. "I like that idea. Dinner is more good." She giggled out following Abby down to her lab. "Has Tim been acting strange around the office or anything?" She questioned.

When Ellie saw that Gibbs was calling her, she almost wanted to cry. Answering the phone, holding back from crying, she listened as he told her that he would help her. "Gibbs...I don't know what to say...other than I don't know what I'd do without you." She spoke softly. She almost wanted to ask him to come back, but she knew she couldn't. If there was one thing Eliie Bishop wouldn't do, it would be to distract someone from the team, especially her boss.

Abby nodded. "I'm sure he knows what's up, and hopefully he will tell us." She said with a small smile. Looking at Delilah, Abby nodded with a thrill. "I figured it would be a good idea for dinner." She said as she walked to her lab with Delilah next to her "No...why has he been strange to you?" She asked out of curiosity.

Seeing that Gibbs was on the phone, Tim went to take pictures of the crime scene. Waiting to get other orders from Gibbs. He wasn't going to question who he was on the phone with, but he was a little curious. It was a little odd for Gibbs to take or make a call, and not have the conversation last less than a minute or two, then that meant something was up. Looking at Tony, Tim rose an eyebrow with curiosity. "Who do you think he's talking to?" Tony asked. "I don't know, and it doesn't matter." Tim said.

"You don't have to thank me." Gibbs told her. "I'll see you when we get back. Just hang out with Delilah and Abby till I come back. Then we'll discuss everything." He promised her.

"Kind of." Delilah admitted. "Just not his normal self. Like he is up to something." She frowned shrugging. "It might just be me, honestly." She told her friend and smiled Abby. She grabbed her phone and decided on texting Tim. So instead of lunch, it's now dinner. Be safe, Tim. Love you.

"Alright, Gibbs." she said softly. "Please be safe." She said without thinking. She then hung up the phone. She walked back inside the building, heading to Abby's lab.

Abby smiled when she saw Ellie coming into her office. "Everything good?" She asked. Ellie nodded. "Yep, everything is good." She smiled as she sat there. She then looked at Delilah. "How is everything with you?" She asked softly.

Tim looked at his phone when he heard his go off. He looked down at it and smiled, seeing it was Delilah. Oh that's perfect! I'll make sure to let Tony and Gibbs now. Love you too. He then looked to Tony. "By the way, lunch has been changed to dinner, since we had a case." Tony nodded. "Sounds great." He said with a cheeky grin.
