Damon was surprised when Enzo spoke of the scientist that had held him captive. The dark haired vampire wondered what the other experiments could possibly be. He was certain they had covered every possible experiment/tourture method known to man kind. Damon took the last step before turning to the vampire who was walking behind him. Damon really looked at him considering it had been years since he had actually seen him and the last time he had seen him both of them had been weak and covered in their own blood.

Damon had never wanted to leave Enzo, he had wanted to get him out of that hell hole, he was the only friend he had. However when the fire had become too much he had no choice but to leave him. In doing that he had to turn off his humanity switch and turn his back on the one person that had kept him sane.

"Believe me Enzo leaving you was never the plan, however with those vervained bars it made it awfully hard to break you out... I did what I had to to survive. Don't take it too personally."with that he continued to walk out onto the school grounds.

Nora looked at her friend, she instantly felt bad for acting so protective of her friend. As much as Nora found it unsettling Bryn was an adult and could make her own decisions. Nora sighed deflating a little as she looked at her friend. Nodding her head she spoke.

"I know I'm not your mother and we both know you are old enough to make your own decisions but I just... it comes with the territory of being a hunter." she looked at her friend. "Did it help? It was nice of him to walk you to your dorm, rather gentlemanly if you ask me." she said a playful note in her tone. "Oh and good with first aid. What a winner we have here."

Nora felt her cheeks flush, she wasn't going to do anything with Enzo except talk but the way Bryn was looking at her was making her nervous. "Nothing, I just... he know's about my great aunt... I wanted to talk to him about her. That was all," and that was all but she couldn't help the feeling of uneasiness that washed over her.

Enzo continued to walk behind Damon, hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans as they made their way back toward the ground floor of the building. He gave the other vampire a careful look as he turned to speak, his mouth pulling slightly to the side as Damon apologized in his own way. Enzo remained quiet for a few long moments, debating on whether or not to bring up Maggie, but deciding against it. He'd save that for another time.

With a grin, he clasped a hand on Damon's should and shook his head a bit in response. "Don't worry about it, mate," he told him simply. "Every man for himself when a building's on fire, huh?" He brushed a hand through his hair and paused for a moment.

"Something tells me you and blondie up there weren't just having a heart-to-heart," he stated with a crooked grin, changing the topic abruptly. "Tell me, she taste as good as she looks?" He questioned, shooting Damon a sidelong look.

Bryn kept her gaze on Nora, a small frown playing on her lips as she watched her friend and roommate closely. "I'm...just having a hard time, all right," she said softly, pushing her hair back from her face. "Talking to him made things seem better than they actually are," she murmured with a helpless little shrug. That wasn't exactly a lie, but it wasn't exactly talking to him that made her feel better.

"He's different than a lot of guys around here," she explained with a heavy sigh. "But he's got a girlfriend, so I don't think you'll be seeing him around much more, to eat honest." She pulled her lips between her teeth for a moment.

The flush that came across Nora's features caused Bryn to raise a brow and look over at her friend curiously. "Oh," was all she could say, nodding her head numbly. "Small world huh? And he's not a student here, right?" She questioned, checking the bandage on her hand to make sure it hadn't slipped or anything.

(sorry for the lateness I have been sick and my creative juices hit a wall but I am back and slowly replying)

Damon was startled by how at ease Enzo was with everything that had happened that night, he had expected him to get mad, to get violent, to try and kill him or at least torture him. He had never expected this kind of reaction, however the dark haired vampire was not going to complain. He rather liked not causing a scene in a place like this. He liked attention but not that kind of attention.

Damon turned to look at the vampire who was now walking beside him, "even better," he wasn't lying not only did Bryn look amazing but her blood tasted that much better, he knew it was wrong and that he should stick to blood bags but there was something about her blood that had him craving it all that much more. From what happened last night it seemed like she enjoyed it, weirdly enough.

"What about you and Nora? What's the connection between you two... or is it just a miraculous meeting? Oh no wait... is she a walking blood bag to subdue your cravings?" Damon was genuinely interested in what Enzo and Bryn's roommate were doing together?

"I know I get that," Nora answered, she sighed a smile spreading across her face, "Well if he makes things better than that has to be a good thing. I'm glad you could talk to him, I mean if it helps you get over everything you have been through it can't be that bad can it?" she paused nodding her head, "He is definitely more attractive than ninety percent of the male population around here that is for sure."

Nora paused, "You never know. A friendship could be on the cards. Plus I am sure his girlfriend will be fine with that... Yeah it is a very small world. No, not a student, however I really have no idea what he is doing here... I mean he has no ties, that I am aware of anyway..." Nora noticed the way Bryn checked her wrist but she chose not to say anything, "Well I guess I had better go and have a shower... Are you gonna come down and meet Enzo and Damon with me?"

[Ah, sorry it's taken me so long to get a reply out to this!]

Enzo shot a look over to Damon as he spoke, lips canting skyward at one corner at his reply. “I can only imagine by the looks of that one,” he murmured, shaking his head a bit. He wondered if Nora knew that her friend had been fed from by Damon. Part of him entertained the idea of letting her know, maybe she’d take care of Damon for him. Then again, Enzo wanted the satisfaction of killing Damon himself. Now, however, was not the time nor the place for him to enact such a plan.

He ran his tongue over his teeth as Damon questioned him next, a loud laugh leaving him at his last questions as they made their way back to the college bar. “No, definitely not,” he said through his laughter, shaking his head slowly. “I don’t have a death wish. She’s a hunter, Damon, so you’d do well to mind yourself around her,” he added with a warning sort of look to Damon. “You know that old adage, ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’,” he finished with a crooked grin as he eyed yet another college-aged girl that walked past them.

Bryn carded a hand through her hair, breathing out a heavy sigh as she smiled. Maybe Nora would cut the “concerned mother” act out now that she knew Damon was helping her out. Even if it wasn’t in the most orthodox of ways. “Yeah, I mean, I talk to you all the time…but talking to him is kind of…different,” she said with a small shrug, eyes slipping over to where the picture frames used to sit on her bedside table. “You know everything that’s gone on, but he’s kind of an unbiased opinion,” she continued, gaze slipping back to Nora as she offered her friend a small smile.

“Yeah…friendship,” she murmured, stomach dropping a bit at the word for some reason. “I honestly don’t think he’ll be around much other than just visiting, but I suppose that would be nice.” She forced a smile to her lips, pushing her hair behind her ear as she listened to Nora explain more about the man she was with. “Hopefully he’s not some creep who preys on unsuspecting college students,” she said, only half-joking. At Nora’s next question, she paused for a moment, lips twisting to the side slightly. “Sure, what could it hurt to get out a bit?”

"Oh it will be fine, plus she doesn't scare me at all. I am sure I could easily take her down," he said flippantly shrugging his shoulders as the two men continued toward the bar, however he was surprised that Enzo was actually talking to the girl, especially if she was a hunter. "Does she know that you are... you know?" he asked turning and walking backwards, "Because if not that is going to be super awkward when you have to tell her that, of if you know you suddenly get an uncontrollable craving around her." he stated a smirk spreading across his face at the thought. "Although are you getting close to her for other reasons, more sinful reasons... because it has been how long since you... you know?" he asked quirking his brows at the dark haired vampire. "I do wonder if you still know how to please a woman."

Damon was being a dick and he knew it but he wasn't scared of Enzo, he never really had been. The two had been friends for years, they had shared the same cell room for the same amount of years. Damon felt as if he knew Enzo.

"I mean I gotta admit she is stunning, if I didn't have a girl I would definitely be trying to get a little of that," it wasn't a lie, however if Damon didn't have Elena he was certain he would be wooing every girl in this place just to fulfil his needs and satisfy his hunger.

"I am happy to hear that Bryn, I really am." Nora nodded her head a smile spreading across her face. "Well you never know if the two of you keep this up I am sure he will come and see you as often as he possibly can considering how great you are," Nora kept her tone light and happy but she didn't miss the tone drop in her friends voice at the mention of friends. The brunette's heart ached for her roommate and everything she had gone through.

"Even if he was, we both know I could kick his ass, and what a great ass he has," she giggled as her thoughts flashed back to the raven haired vampire, "I can definitely see what my great aunt had seen in him... wow that sounds creepier out loud than it did in my head." her brows furrowed together as she thought over her sentence, "Yay, okay I will go shower then we can go," with that she ducked into the bathroom and started the water up waiting for it to steam before stepping underneath the spray.
