Restless Nights

Rae broke the kiss, panting hard trying to catch her breath. Laying her head down on his shoulder she felt her body slowly giving over to the pleasure and exhaustion. "Yoongi." She moaned out, her body tingling from the sensation. She place a few gentle kisses to his neck and shoulder. Her body felt completely and utterly spent.

Taehyung looked up at her a smile coming to his face. "You're a genius." He told her, before getting to his feet. His arms wrapped around her pulling her into a hug, he was actually glad that she'd thought of this. He could freelance, and once he'd made enough money start his own company. It was after all one of the reason why Namjoon's offer was one he hadn't past over yet. He knew that Yoongi would back him, after all the help Tae had given him over the years he knew he would. It was the main reason the job offer was given in the first place.

Yoongi breathed out, taking a few deep, slow breaths to calm down, his hands moving to rub her back once she was resting over him. "That was amazing," he told her quietly, holding her closer to himself as he let himself relax with her there above him, against him, with him. Shifting, he pressed a kiss to the top of her head, holding her as close to him as he could, enjoying the contact.

Aria blinked in surprise with the feeling, though she couldn't help but to feel happy with the praise, and even more so with the feeling of Tae's arms around her. She tried not to think about it too much, but it was a really nice feeling that she couldn't help but to enjoy. "Yeah, well... I'm glad you like the idea," she murmured honestly, shifting to return the hug, burying her face against him.

Smiling Rae relaxed on top of him, doing her best to cuddle up to him. She wasn't in any hurry to move. Though she knew this couldn't entirely be comfortable for him. But feeling his hands on her body she knew he didn't mind to much. "It was," she said out before a yawn escaped her. Her mind still a bit fuzzy. She knew that it was all the alcohol and sex, but she didn't mind it.

Tae was shocked that she hadn't pushed him away. He also couldn't believe he'd actually gotten her in his arms. He froze when he felt her arms encase him. He knew that she'd liked him in the past, so he wondered just how much of this was her crush for him. Though he couldn't complain either, after all his feeling for her had hit him like a freight truck. Now that she was in his arms he felt a sort of peace fill him, wanting this to never end. His body went rigid when she buried her face into his chest, all the times he wanted this to happen of course he'd have to freak out once it did.

Yoongi nodded his agreement, rubbing her back gently as he shifted, lifting her for a moment to pull out, though he rested her back down once that was over with. When she yawned, a yawn escaped him in return, and he couldn't help but to let out a noise of amusement as he held her close. "I wasn't expecting it," he admitted quietly, letting out another yawn as he relaxed for a moment, running his fingers through her hair.

Aria stayed like that for a few moments, unable to force herself away at first. For a moment, she found herself taking in his scent as discreetly as she could, mostly surprised that she'd even let herself be this close to him. She didn't want to move away; she wanted to stay like that, but she eventually pulled back, peering up at him for a moment, watching him silently, taking him in, before she cleared her throat. "Anyways, we should... Probably get some sleep," she admitted quietly.

Rae let out a soft chuckle at how cute he was being, she liked how he was slowly letting down his hard exterior. It was a side she'd yet to see from him tonight, and even though she knew that in the morning she'd have to part with him. She couldn't help but let her eyes flutter shut. Sleep coming to her fairly easy.

Tae watched her as she pulled away from him, not liking the loss of contact. Biting down on his lip he did his best to hold himself back. "Yeah I guess you're right." He told her. "Why don't you get in bed and I'll get the light." He suggested, before putting a bit of space between them. Turning to head to the light, he quickly adjusted himself, knowing that if she caught him with a hard on he'd never hear the end of it.

Yoongi let himself relax with her, closing his eyes. He could feel her falling asleep above him and his hand continued to rub her back, his fingers occasionally moving to run through her hair as well, before he could feel himself drifting off. The movement only ceased when he finally fell asleep.

Aria watched him for a few moments before she cleared her throat and nodded. "Right, okay," she agreed quietly before she moved over to the bunk bead, climbing up on the top. She pulled her blanket over herself and found herself still watching him from where she was. "Good night, Tae."

Tae managed to shut off the light before stumbling his way back over to his bed. "Night, Aria." He told her as he peered at her through the dark. After staring for a bit he felt like he was over doing it, he ducked into the bottom bunk. Resting down on the mattress he looked up at the bottom of her bed. "Thanks again for the help." He told her, knowing that now all he had to do was discuss this with Yoongi and Namjoon. He'd be able to pull in money, along with work with both his friends. Then the only issue left that he could face right now was Aria. How he was going to manage living with her, now knowing that she'd shared his feeling growing up.

When Yoongi woke up, he groaned slightly, feeling a headache from the hangover he now felt. It took him a moment to realize that he was naked and that somebody was sleeping above him. Pulling back, he watched her, taking her in. She was gorgeous, he could admit, and he watched her for a few moments, before he shifted, rolling her off of him gently. Climbing onto his feet, he focused on getting ready to leave, unknowingly dropping a business card. Straightening his clothes, he headed out of the room, not really noticing the ring on his finger this early.

When morning came, Aria was still found asleep, her blanket tightly wrapped around herself as she slept fairly peacefully. She was a little relieved for the peaceful sleep after how stressed things had been the day before. But, a part of her hoped that things would be better now, though she was worried that her hope would be pointless.

Rae groaned as her sleep was disturbed, she rolled onto her stomach settling back into the bed. She could feel herself slowly starting to wake but she fought against it, hoping to fall back into a peaceful slumber. But hearing the sound of the door shutting had her eyes flying open. She shuffled into a sitting position before looking around her, "fuck." She groaned, before darting off the bed, she wasn't in her room. Grabbing her clothes she quickly pulled them on. Reaching down to grab her shoes she furrowed her brow as a small white paper rested on the floor. Being rather nosy she picked it up and flipped it over. Min Yoongi's personal business card. Thinking back to the night before she groaned as she rubbed her head. The man that had saved her from the cheap suit, she was in his room. Though she couldn't remember leaving the bar with him. Sighing she clutched the card in her hand, before grabbing her shoes and heading out the door.

Tae sighed as he looked out the patio door, his eyes taking in the cool morning as he waited on coffee to brew. He'd gotten a few hours of sleep, his body used to getting up early to rush off to class. Now he had time to actually relax and enjoy simple things. He knew that once he got some coffee in him he'd start on making breakfast. He wasn't that good of a cook but he could manage egg, sausage and bacon. This morning he'd barely managed to leave his room, after waking he stood and started to get dressed for the day. Aria slept peaceful, but as he turned to leave the room his eye couldn't help but notice the t shirt she'd wore to bed had rose up, it bunched around her hips giving him a prefect view of her long legs, and the panties that covered her. If it hadn't been for him already having morning wood, he'd would have been hard as a rock in seconds. He bit his lip and tried to control his breathing, but his mind wandered. Things he could do and get away with it. But logical part of his brain won out, and he covered her up, before he couldn't handle it.

After Yoongi had become more awake, more aware, he’d headed to the airport, intending to go visit Taehyung. Not too long ago, he’d offered Taehyung a job, and he figured his friend might have an answer by now. If nothing else, it meant he didn’t have to go home just yet. After a while, he’d arrived in the city and hailed a cab, heading to the address. His mind went back to the girl he’d woken up next to that morning, how gorgeous she’d been, wanting to remember what all had happened, but he couldn’t even begin to piece together the events of the night. With his mind still on the girl, he realized the cab had arrived at his destination, and he climbed out after paying then headed up to the door to knock.

Aria had woken up when she heard the knock, whining quietly. For a moment, she could remember how the day before had gone, and she wasn’t sure she was ready to face the day, and she knew she wasn’t ready to face Taehyung. Still, she eventually climbed down from the top bunk, looking to Tae’s bed, though she wasn’t sure how to feel after seeing his bed empty. She got dressed before heading out of the room and headed to the front door to open it. Seeing Yoongi there, though, she blinked. “Yoongi,” she greeted with surprise, “What are you doing here?”

Yoongi, admittedly, was surprised to see Aria there. But he knew Taehyung’s dad and step-mom had gotten into an accident, so he figured that probably explained it. Mentally, he wondered how Taehyung was dealing with that. “I came to see Taehyung,” he explained easily, straightening because he knew this was important. “Is he home?” Arching a brow, he tried to appear as though he was patiently waiting for an answer, though he knew he was anything but patient, especially when his mind was still elsewhere.

“I think so. I’ll go see,” Aria told him with a nod, moving out of the way, “Come on in.” Once Yoongi walked in, Aria went to find Taehyung, heading to the place she knew he spent a lot of time at when they were younger, the patio. Stepping outside, she breathed out when she saw him, and she reached to rest a hand on his arm to get his attention, ignoring the way the contact made her feel. “Tae?” she asked quietly, “Yoongi’s here to see you.”

The cold had started to grow on him. Yet the warm cup in his hand gave a soft contradiction. Hearing the door slid open he chose to ignore it. His step mother often checked on him. Though the warm touch and soft voice that meet his ears. Had him turning his attention to peer up at the beautiful woman. Her hair a bit disheveled and the t-shirt that hung off her was a sight to see first thing in the morning. He nearly missed the words that came out of her mouth. "Uhm." He cleared his throat. "Thanks." He told her offering her a forced smile before he stood and brushed past her. The soft subtle smell of her shampoo catching in his nose. A sigh leaving his lips as he pushed on.

The man was waiting for him in the living room. And he couldn't help the smile that pulled at his lips. "What's got you here so early?" He asked looking over the man. He looked like he'd slept in his suit. And his hair was messier than normal. He was stressing about something. And it made Tae feel a bit bad for not giving him an answer sooner.

Raelynn managed to stumble into her hotel room. Dropping her shoes on the floor before making her way into her bathroom. She slowly started to step out of the clothing she rushed to put on. Stopping to peer in the mirror. Her chest and neck was littered in little love bites. The man sure knew how to leave a lasting impression. Moving to the counter she grabbed her make up bag digging through it. Looking for her make up remover. She should have never slept with it on. But last night was eventful. And sadly she couldn't remember any of it. Pulling out the wipe she started to take her make up off. Scrubbing her face to rid herself of the caked on eyeshadow. Though her movements froze when she caught sight of something shiny on her finger.

"What the fuck." She said looking down at her finger. The rock on it was something she'd never expected to see. Not like this anyways. Her head hurt as she tried to think over what happened last night.

Aria watched him head back in and breathed out quietly before she headed inside and back to the bedroom to avoid getting in the way.

Yoongi lifted his gaze when he heard Taehyung’s voice and he offered a small nod in greeting. “I hope you weren’t busy,” he said easily as he watched his friend for a moment before he lifted his shoulders in a shrug. “I was in the neighborhood, figured I could come by, see how everything’s going, check on your dad and step-mom, see if you made a decision yet.” He didn’t want to pressure his friend, of course, but he knew this was important, and that this would help both of them along their career paths. It was something that would work to both their benefits.

But he was pretty sure that Taehyung knew him well enough to know that he hadn’t just been in the neighborhood. And, since nobody else was in the living room with them, he figured there was no point in keeping his thoughts to himself, so he sighed and shrugged. “Really, I just figured this was more of a reason to avoid going home just yet,” he admitted. He knew what was waiting for him at home, after all, and he really didn’t want to deal with it, especially not after the night he’d had with that amazing, gorgeous woman. How could he go home with somebody like her stuck in his mind?

Taehyung let out a soft laugh before flopping down on the couch, kicking himself back and letting his leg hang over the arm. Shaking his head he shrugged a bit, before sighing. "Nah their fine." He brushed off the family topic. "Though I have made my mind up on what I want to do." He told him. "Though I do have some conditions if I do take the job." He knew that Yoongi was doing him a big favor by even offering him the job but he couldn't only think about his feeling. He did have to think about his future as well. "But I know that's not why your really here." He said shaking his head knowing that Yoongi had some much more on his mind.

"Have you thought that maybe Namjoon was right?" He questioned his friend. "I don't want to take sides or hurt you. But what if she really is only with you for your money?" He asked knowing that this wasn't the first fight Yoongi and his girl had been in that cause him to flee to his friends for a distraction. "I do agree with you though I feel like there needs to be some proof. But you're hurting a lot more lately. Is she really worth it?" He asked. "Not that I think anything is wrong with her, I just want to know what you think, since the last time we spoke and where you're head was then." He quickly added. Not wanting to start a fight with his friend. No he wanted to be here for the man, even if he himself was having issue with his own problems.

Raelynn stepped off the elevator her bag being drug behind her, shoving her glasses on her face she nearly flees from the hotel. Not wanting to be recognized as the woman who got married last night. Seeing as she was leaving alone. The driver stood holding the door open for her as she'd called for him an hour ago. Slipping into the back seat she left him with her bag. Sitting back into the seat she closed her eyes trying to keep her mind from the issue at hand. Knowing that all morning long she'd been on the phone with her lawyer doing her best to put an end to this marriage. After giving the name of the man to her lawyer she could hear crickets through the line. It was almost like she'd mentioned a ghost. However her lawyer told her he'd be in touch with her as soon as he could. But she knew that it wouldn't be long before she was signing something to end this mistake.

"To the hospital, miss?" The driver questioned her as he took his seat in the front of the car. "No, the airport." She told him, getting the fuck out of this city was the only option at this point. Her sister didn't want to see her and she really didn't want to deal with more drama.

Yoongi arched a brow as Taehyung spoke, though the news certainly piqued his curiosity, he could admit. “Oh?” he asked, watching his friend for a few long moments, “What are the conditions, in that case?” He shifted, leaning forward, at least grateful for the topic. Talking about business, about work, tended to keep his mind off his other troubles. At least, it normally did - but Taehyung knew him so well, of course his friend would bring up the actual issue. Sighing, he shook his head and ran a hand through his hair, debating, thinking about what to say.

Eventually, he leaned back against the seat, watching Taehyung for a long moment. “If she’s not actually after my money, then, yeah, I think she’s worth it,” he said, “Because then she would be with me for me. The problem is that I don’t know if she’s after my money or not. And I have no way to easily prove it to get Namjoon off my ass about it.” He scoffed quietly with the thought. “I just want somebody who wants me for me, not my money, and who makes me happy. But giving up without knowing her intentions does nothing for me.”

Taehyung looked at him, frowning knowing that the next things to come out of his mouth could be insulting to hear. Due to the level of respect they have for each other. "I want to be a free agent." He told the man. "I'll be more than happy to sign a NDA, but I do want to make my own work schedule and be able to work for whom I want as well." He told him, "I know you know about Namjoon's offer. So I wish to help the both of you." He laid it bare knowing that Yoongi wasn't typically one to bargain with. But being as they were old friends he hoped the man didn't mind the way he thought.

"That's all that matters." He shrugged. "If you feel that she's worth putting yourself through all this stress then I can't say much." He told him. "However I don't think that Namjoon is a lair either." He told him. Knowing that what they were dealing with was he said she said type of situation. "And have you thought about cutting off her cards?" He questioned his friend. "You can see her true colors if she doesn't have your cards to fall onto." He shrugged. "Just a suggestion." He teased him. "Though quick question, you didn't marry her did you?" He asked pointing to the ring on Yoongi's finger. He couldn't imagine that they would have snuck off with her and had a private marriage after all she would throw a fit for a grand wedding.

Yoongi could admit the request caught him off guard and his brows furrowed as he watched Taehyung, taking his friend in for a few long moments. “What brought this on?” he asked with surprise, because he’d figured that his friend would have just made a choice one way or another. Though he could admit that being a free agent was a smart idea for Taehyung, for him to be able to do what he wanted. That didn’t mean that Yoongi had to like it, though, and he wasn’t sure what to think about it. “Is it that important to you? That you can’t choose between our offers?”

As they talked about his girlfriend, though, he thought and nodded slightly. “I suppose I could try cutting off her cards, see how she handles that,” he said eventually, figuring he could do that later today. He blinked, though, when Taehyung pointed to his finger, and his gaze followed the motion. His brows furrowed. He hadn’t even noticed the ring. It felt so… Natural wearing it, and he couldn’t figure out why. “I did not,” he said with a scoff, his brows furrowing as he examined the ring. It was definitely a wedding ring. “Shit,” he hissed out quietly, reaching to scrub at his face, “I must have done that last night. With a stranger whose name I can’t remember.”

"It's been something that I've been struggling with ever since I started this path." He sighed. "I don't want to lose myself to money and greed. But I also don't want to turn down you offer as it was the best for me to be able to support myself. However what you do isn't something that I ever wanted to get into. Though Aria helped me to understand where I should stand." He sighed knowing he was rambling a bit but still wasn't getting his point across truly. "And being a free agent would allow me to pursue the things that I'm passionate about. However working at a reputable place such as yours would give me the edge I need to succeed. Even though I feel like I was using you." He shook his head. It was true that Aria put it into a better perspective for him to decided the best option.

"Well you don't have to worry about cutting her cards off, just tell her you got married." Taehyung laughed out. "If she agrees to stay with you then she's really in it for the money." He shrugged. "Though it's your choice." He couldn't help but laugh though. Yoongi was never one to do something so stupid as getting married to a random woman. "Who ever she was she must have been one hell of a woman to get you to marry her." He laughed at him.

Yoongi listened to his friend intently, wanting him to know that he was taking him seriously. And, while it wasn’t ideal for Yoongi, he could understand where his friend was coming from. Eventually, he sighed and nodded slightly in understanding. “Then I guess I can’t argue,” he said eventually in response, “Especially if you seem this focused on it. If it’s your final decision, I’ll agree to it.” Even if it troubled him that Taehyung could work for competitors. “I’ll set up an NDA - not because I don’t trust you, but because I can’t show favoritism and that’s what would normally have to be done in situations like this.”

He ran a hand through his hair as he thought about Taehyung’s words. “I don’t know if that would be the right way to determine if she’s using me for my money, though. Women stay with men who cheat all the time, and a marriage like this can probably be annulled easily.” At least, he figured it would be easy - if he could find the woman again or if he knew her name, which he didn’t. Making a face with the realization, he scrubbed at his face. “I don’t remember what happened last night, but I woke up beside her and I can admit she was gorgeous, at the very least. At least blackout drunk me still has a good taste in women.”

Tae nodded, "I don't mind, really. I just want to be able to live and not worry about money, yet I don't see myself working for you guys the rest of my life, you know?" He had to thank Aria again for helping him again.

Letting out a laugh he shook his head. "Well I dont think the wife would appreciate waking up alone. But at least she was hot." He teased. Knowing this was a mess Yoongi got himself into. Though with his money all he had to do was make a call and they'd have it resolved by the end of the day.

Yoongi nodded slightly with Tae’s explanation. “I can accept that,” he said eventually, sighing out quietly. At least this was better than him not having Taehyung work for him at all. Taehyung was one of the few people he trusted, after all. Still, he smirked slightly and nodded. “Yeah, she was definitely hot.” He could admit that much; he had no problems admitting it, even. The woman had been perfection. “But, you’re right. She might hate me once she realizes she woke up alone - if she remembers last night, that is.” He wasn’t sure if she’d drunk as much as him, after all; he couldn’t remember.
