Cici groaned. She felt relieved when nothing was wrong with her foot. Though she was a little upset she couldn't just take a break from work because of a bum foot. She shook the thought away, and watched Ryker clean her up. She was so thankful for him. From his comforting words, to his ability to take care of her, and their daughter. She was entirely amazed. Cici watched as he held Quinn, and stuck his tongue out when he teased her. Before they went to the car, she leaned up, and kissed both of their cheeks. "I love the two of you, so much!" She gushed.
Lightly limping to the car, now that the adrenaline had worn off, she sat in the front and sighed to herself. She wasn't in the mood for ice cream, but was happy Quinn was willing to eat something. When they got to the place, Cici ordered Quinn a chocolate cone with sprinkles, and had her sit on her lap while she ate. "How about tonight, we just watch some Netflix movies, and cuddle?" She squeezed her munchkin a little bit, then looked to Ryker. "If you still want to start packing, now that we won't be covering more stuff in blood, that's fine too." He had done so much for them, she couldn't bother him to give up his own personal time. She didn't want him to get sick of her.
Quinn smiled, "Daddy coming too?"
"He still has stuff he has to do. But if he wants to, he's more than welcome to." She kissed the chocolate coated cheek. How a child managed to get ice cream on their cheek, was beyond Cici. She had just learn to accept it all.
"Oh.. will Uncle Chris be there?" She had an issue with it only being her, and her mom at the apartment. Cecilia hadn't quite figured out where the issue came from, but she didn't always find it to be an issue.
"Not tonight, baby. He has to work at the bar." She moved her hair out of the way. Quinn continued munching on the soggy cone. Her little hands covered in chocolate, as well as her face. With a few rainbow sprinkles mixed in her hair. "But we do need to get you a bath!" The little girl pouted, and looked concerned that nobody else would be there. Cici made a note to talk to her doctor about that, next time. But it was almost as if, Cici wasn't around, or another person Quinn trusted, she would have panic attack. Severe panic attacks.
Zeke made his way to his room. He stretched out on the bed, and peeped out the small window. The water was a crystal blue, the sun was glistening over it. He was left a little speechless at how beautiful it was. Quickly forgetting the thought, he grabbed a bottle from his mini fridge, and began drinking. He was on a vacation after all. He didn't have to worry about any jobs. Just the ocean air, and good booze. Though he was a little disappointed that there weren't any other girls, besides the one chef. But she wasn't the cutest girl on the block.
Swaggering to the deck, he saw Allison, and Thomas. His stomach dropped, he took a swig. Allison looked beautiful, her hair shining in the sunlight. Her skin looked flawless. He wanted to go over, cup her cheeks, and plant a soft kiss on her lips. The setting was more than romantic enough. But he was almost positive he'd be swimming with the fishes, if he did that. Instead, he walked over to the two bodies. "So are we just going around the water, or is there a destination?" He was leaning on Allisons chair, his fingers barely brushing her shoulders. It sent a shiver down his spine.
