Nyx was more than happy that he had the brains to step away from her as her anger surged causing the room the drop in temperature. "I wonder how long you would last in a fight against me." She murmured softly before sighing. "You can't fix it, Stark." She laughed. "Rich boys always thinking they can fix everything." She shook her head and said, "Extra practice meaning so I can get better control of my powers so I don't kill people I don't mean to kill." Her words were soft but also held a dangerous note. "I'm not joining your so called team." She warned.

Tony kept himself at a distance. He didn't have his suit with him and he didn't want to fight her. "You haven't given me a chance to prove that I can" he said to her, still keeping a distance so he wouldn't anger her more. "Ok fine you don't have to join my team but please let me help you" he said. If she didn't want to join the time that was fine. He just wanted to do everything he could to help her. "Please let me help you" he said, keeping his tone calm.

Even with his stupid suit, she could just freeze him to death or rip him out of his super suit. "You've never given me a hint that you could." She said in retaliation. She knew she was right. "STOP SAYING THAT!" She finally screamed icicles going everywhere in a spray of emotion. She contained herself breathing heavily. "Don't say that. You won't be helping me. You're only here to help yourself. I will do the fucking extra practice but that's it. Just tell me when." She growled before looking up at him her green eyes slightly glowing. "I know I can't fight Banner either."

"I have tried but you won't listen to me" Tony said as he still kept his distance. His dark eyes watched her, trying to figure out what she was thinking or going to do. He then backed up more when she screamed and icicles went everywhere, getting out of the way before they could hit him. Thought were flooding in his mind about how he pushed her and came off as an asshole. "I'll prove to you I am not and alright I'll let you know when" he said gently before making his way towards. "I would appreciate that. I don't want either of you to get killed" he said to her comment about not fighting Banner. Today had gone horrible and he was determined to make it right.

"If you were in my position guaranteed you wouldn't even let me talk to you, so i've given you much more credit than you would ever give me. Don't pretend it isn't true. You would ignore everything I said to you fi I were in your position so don't stand there so calmly and said I won't listen. I listened, it's just bullshit." Nyx responded her hair started to have ice appear in it. She calmed herself most of the ice starting to melt. She heard him and snorted. "You know where to find me. Especially since I leave a trail." She muttered before looking at the ceiling. "I'm sure you'd benefit some way from it." She told him her eyes meeting his, a fierce look in her eyes that could only be matched with the same intensity.

Tony was feeling defeated at the moment. He really was just trying to help the girl but he understood that he was just a stranger. “I’m really sorry about being a dick” he said as his dark eyes looking into hers. “And it’s not to benefit me” he added. He hoped that one day she would see that it wasn’t at all for him. “I want you to be better for you. If you train and don’t want to join the team that is fine. The offer still stands” he said before moving closer to her. He hoped that would atleast give her some comfort.

Nyx frowned watching him. Hearing his words she sighed shaking her head. "It's not like I'm not a bitch." She responded crossing her arms over her chest. She turned around looking at the ice almost laughing at his next words but controlling herself as she relaxed just gazing at the ice. Her skin was always cold, but she never felt the coldness. She looked back at him hearing him speak. "Fine." She said wearily. "Don't get your hopes up. Just let me know when." She said noticing him move closer. She was like an animal and didn't enjoy being cornered.

Tony didn’t agree or disagree with her when she said she was a bitch. He understood why she was behaving that way. She was protecting herself from harm. When he moved closer, he really didn’t realize it. “Alright and sorry again” he responded before realizing that he was closing in on her. He corrected, moving back. “Didn’t meant to get closer to you” he said felling bad about cornering her. “I will let you know when training starts” he said as he began walking towards the door.

Nyx just nodded not saying anything else on the matter. Once he was gone, her demeanor visibly relaxed, having not realized she had gotten so upset she had dug her nails into the palms of her hands and they were slightly bleeding. She sighed looking down before sitting down against pulling her knees against her chest wrapping her arms around her knees.

Tony silently left the warehouse and made his way to his building. When he got to his office. He made sure a room was ready for Nyx just incase she wanted one. Once he was sure, he sent her a text. There is a room for you here if you would like one. You just walk in and talk to reception. You don’t have to talk to me he sent before relaxing in his chair. He hoped that she would take his offer.

Nyx looked down at her beaten up phone seeing the text and sighed shaking her head as she looked up at the ceiling of the cavern she was in, with icicles all around her, never melting. Standing up, she looked at the wall in front of her and just screamed loudly needing to let something out and then collapsed to the floor holding her head finally letting all of her stress out, icicles exploding all around her as she did so. She knew if there was electricity here, it would be crackling and probably go out. She finished crying and looked at the wall falling asleep waiting for tomorrow to come. She wasn't going to stay in the room until she did the training with them.

Tony sighed softly as he watched his phone, hoping to see some kind of answer from Nyx. He relaxed against his chair as he tried to figure out the best route to take. Finally he decided to just leave it be, letting her come to him. He didn’t want to hurt her or scare her, already screwing up already. Another sigh escaped as he began to look through the paperwork that was on his desk.

Nyx eventually fell asleep. She awoke the next morning and groaned stretching her neck hearing the continuous pops and sighed before knowing she was going to need a chiropractor. She laughed at the absurdity before standing up and walking outside of the cave before getting into the water and washing herself off. Once she was clean, she put her clothes back on and checked her phone to see if Tony had texted her about the training.

After a couple of hours of paperwork and research, Tony went to bed. He woke up in the morning and texted Nyx. Training at my building. Come to my office. He sent before making his coffee, hoping she would respond to him or show up to talk to him. He hoped he didn’t screw this up.

Nyx heard her phone go off and looked down just in time before it died to see the message. She sighed before hiking through the woods. She managed to make it to a road before getting herself to his office. She looked around at the buildings and was acutely aware that she didn't quite fit in. Brushing her crimson hair away from her face she walked in and ignored the receptionist completely and walked into his office. "My phone died." She said simply.

Tony sighed as he waited for a message from Nyx. He looked up when he heard someone walk in. “Morning Nyx. I can charge it if you want me to” he offered to her. He grabbed a cord and offered it to her. “The room is still available if you want it, very comfortable” he then added, hoping she would take the offer. He wanted her to protected.

Nyx gave a soft wave watching him with a slight frown wondering when his normal personality was going to come back. The one where he pretended not to care and had a carefree and joking environment. "I'm fine. The cave was warm." She said as she nodded giving her phone to him, having her own cord, but well, in a cave nothing charged. She crossed her arms over her chest and said, "Who am I training with?"

Tony grabbed her phone and placed it on the charger before nodding. He nodded when she said the cave was warm, not wanting to push the issue. “Well it’s your choice. You can’t train with hulk tho.” He said, not wanting her to get hurt. “I don’t want you to get hurt. His people skills are still pretty rusty so anyone else will work” he added.

Nyx crossed her arms over her chest and frowned when he said she couldn't train with Banner. She sighed heavily shaking her head. "Fine. Give me Thor." She told him wondering if he would agree with her fighting against a God. She didn't want to fight a mortal, or anyone without powers, and she most certainly didn't want to fight against the Russian witch because she didn't need her to mess with her head even more than it was.

Tony was still a little worried when he heard her ask to train with Thor. It wasn't that he didn't trust Thor. He didn't want Thor and Nyx to kill each other. After a moment of thought, he nodded. "Alright" he said, knowing Thor would be the safer option. He then got up and walked out, hearing footsteps behind him. He lead her to the arena. "Thor, Train with Nyx" he said to Thor who was standing there with the rest of the team.
