Nova looked at him, "I am going to get an omelet and hashbrowns." She said, smiling. "Its going to be so fucking good." She said as she let him take her hand. She loved the attention she got from Travis.

Travis squeezed her hand and smiled. "Now, that sounds the best," he commented. He could tell that she was soaking up his attention, and he was more than happy to give all of it to her.

Nova nodded, "Oh it is." she said. When the waitress came she ordered her food, then let Travis order his. She held his hand as they sat there. She knew she was going straight to bed when she got home. She was about to be full from eating. Nova looked at him, "Did you like the band tonight?" She asked him.

Travis smiled and shrugged a little bit. “Honestly, they were alright. It was more fun watching you have fun there than listen to them,” he replied, winking at her. He couldn’t help himself when it comes to flirting with her. It had always came naturally with him.

Nova smiled, "Oh i am sure it was. i am fantastic." She said, laughing softly. She was glad when their food came. "Oh thank god. I'm starving." She said before she began to eat. When they finished their food she leaned back against the booth. "You may need to carry me." She said, laughing softly.

Travis laughed. “You day that as if it bothers me. I get have you pressed up to me,” he said. “But to be fair you may have let me digest this for a second.” He looked at her unable help himself from joking lightly.

Nova smiled, "We shall see." She said. When they finished eating she looked at him. "I am ready when you are." She said after they paid the bill. Nova got up with him, taking his hand as they walked out of the diner. She couldn't wait to get some sleep.

Travis walked with her back to apartment. As soon as they walked in to her place, she let out a yawn, and I started guiding her to her room. “Tired?” Travis asked, already knowing the answer. He was just as sleepy as she appeared to be.

Nova nodded, "Yes. I am ready for bed." She said. Once they got inside she got changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top before she climbed into bed. She got under the blankets, watching them.

Travis went and pulled on only sweatpants and crawled into bed next to Nova. He got comfortable and pulled her up against his body. He couldn’t help but want to cuddle with her.

Nova smiled as she snuggled against him. She closed her eyes, "Tonight was fun." She whispered. "Goodnight Travis." She said before she started to drift off to sleep. She woke up the next morning and sighed as she stretched. She looked over at Travis, seeing he was still sleeping.

Travis blinked awake not really ready to be. He met the eyes of Nova and gave her a sleepy smile. “Good morning, sweets,” he said in a scratchy voice. It was how he always sounded in the morning.

Nova smiled, "Good morning." She said as she snuggled up to him. She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes. She wasn't ready to get up and go do stuff. "I don't want to move." She said, smiling.

Travis let out a small laugh. “Like I want to go somewhere. I’m very fixed the way I am.” He pulled her tighter into his side and turned his head to kiss her forehead.

Nova smiled as he pulled her close. She wrapped her arms around his waist. She frowned when she heard someone knock on her door. She groaned and got up, walking out of the room. She looked out, frowning when she seen her mother. Her family didn't visit so she could only assume it was about her sister the day before. Nova opened the door, "Mother." She said frowning her mom pushed by her. Nova frowned as her mom shoved what appeared to be a wedding invitation in her hand.

"Your sister is getting married in two weeks and you will attend." She said, crossing her arms.

Nova looked at her, "Ahh..so she is knocked up?" She asked, smiling as her mom rolled her eyes.

Her mom glared, "No sorry you are still the disappointment." She said. She looked over, seeing Travis coming out of her room. "Be there and don't make an ass of yourself before she walked out.

Nova threw the card on the counter, "God shes a bitch." She said as she walked to the kitchen to get a drink.

Travis got up and walked into the kitchen. He had heard her mom and the demand that she had for Nova. He leaned on the the archway in her kitchen. “Are you alright?” he asked. He knew the answer, but he still needed to hear her thoughts.

Nova looked at him, "Yea I'm fine." She said. She took a sip of her water. "I am making you go with me." She said, smiling. She figured Travis would make it interesting.

Travis laughed. “As if I would let you take anyone else,” he said with a wink. “Besides, I might decide to steal her spotlight just to piss her off.” He knew that she wouldn’t expect anything less from him. He hated the way her family treated Nova and he just had to be an ass to them most of the time.

Nova sighed, " See this is why I keep you around." She said. Nova opened her fridge, "What do you want to eat?" She asked, looking back at him. She was glad that Travis was going to go with her if he didn't she didn't know if she could handle it.

Travis watched her closely for a second and then said, “Whatever you have is fine with me. You know I love your cooking.” He knew that she was worried about what her family was doing and I didn’t blame her at all. I just wish that there was something that I could do to make it better for her.
