Once the waitress left, I looked over at Chloe. I wondered of she knew, just how beautiful she really was. I leaned over and kissed her cheek, offering a small smile. "I think you're going to enjoy what I have planned," I said to her.

Matt
"Well, I think it's going to be fun for you, and you're not going to expect anything that's going to happen today." I told her, running my hand over my short, buzzed hair.

Matt
I chuckled lightly. "Of course you would, but having a young little boy, has toughened me up against giving hints," I chuckled lightly, taking a bite of one of my tacos.

Matt
I smiled lightly at Chloe's comment, looking at her. "He really is, I was honestly thinking about getting him a jungle gym set, it's something that would last him for years, and he loves playing outside," I said, I already had bought Chloe's main present, and I knew she was going to love it.

"I hope so," I said to her, a small smile forming on my face. I motioned for our waitress to come over to us before telling her that we were ready for our check. I then proceeded to pay the bill and leave a tip behind. "We're gonna save the best for last, so we're gonna finish the Christmas shopping first," I said with a smile.

I smiled. "Honestly, I don't really know what I want. I've got it all, " I told her with a smile. It was true. I had an amazing son, a beautiful girlfriend, I was famous, I had a nice home. I had everything that I had ever wanted. "Maybe just a new hat?" I suggested.

4 months later

Chloe and I had been together for awhile now, things were going amazingly. I had a huge surprise for herr today, She had recently graduated nursing school, but was now in need of a job in said degree. While I couldn't provide her with that, I did know that I could get her everything that she needed. Which is exactly what I intended on doing. I walked up the steps, James not far behind me. I had decided that I was going to start her day up with breakfast in bed. Opening the bedroom door, I walked over to the bed, sseeing her still sound asleep, "Good morning babe," I said to her, kissing her forehead.

"Yes we did," I said , giving her a smile. "I have a super big surprise for you today." I said, kissing her cheek as I sat on my side of the bed. I ran my hand through my short brown hair, looking over at her with a small smile. I was going to take her to a store that was filled with nothing but stuff that nurses needed, then, we were going to stop at the nearest hospital and see what she needed to do to apply, if she even still wanted to work.

I smiled lightly at Chloe. "Well it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, now would it?" I said to her, giving her a light kiss on the cheek. "Eat up and get ready. We've got places to go and people to see," I informed her. "I'm gonna go drop James off at my parents, and then I'll be right back, okay?" I said with a smile.
