Ava nodded. “So is Max.” She sighed. “If he would get help, maybe things would be different.”

“When are you checking yourself in?” Craig asked him.

"What if he gets the help and not long after goes back to his ways?" Lola frowned. "Craig needs it too. But he's got that pride thing going on with his little messed up ego. He won't do it." Lola sighed.

"After your party." Max told him. "I can't keep beating the woman I love." Max told Craig sighing heavily. "You?" He asked.

Ava sighed. “I know. I’ve thought about that...I can’t leave him though, I love him too much.” She sighed.

“I don’t know man...maybe later this week.” Craig sighed as he looked over at the girls.

Lola sighed, "I know how you feel." Lola frowned.

Max nodded his head, "I wish you the best." Max told him.

Ava sighed. “I honestly don’t know what to do. I can say I’ll leave him if he keeps it up but I know I won’t.” She said.

Craig nodded, “you too, man.” He said.

"I can say the same, but I won't. Fuck, I wouldn't even divorce him." Lola sighed running a hand through her hair.

Max nodded his head downing his beer and sighing. He watched Ava closely and frowned at how bad he'd hurt her.

Ava nodded. “I know.” She said and got up, “I’ll be right back.” She said, getting up and heading inside. She went to use the bathroom and to check her head out. She sighed as she saw how bruised and swollen it was.

“Maybe I’ll check myself in with you.” Craig said. He looked over at Lola, seeing Ava go inside.

Max nodded his head, "We can work on this shit together." Max told Craig. He excused himself and headed inside the house. He saw Ava in the bathroom. "I'm sorry, Ava. Tonight I am leaving. I'm checking myself into Rehab to get help." Max told her softly.

Lola looked at Craig and sighed. She dropped her head and picked at her wedding set sighing. She just didn't know what the deal with her husband was anymore.

Ava turned to look at him. “Are you? Max, don’t do it if it’s really not going to help you..” She said. She wanted him to get help but only if he kept it up.

Craig went over to sit with Lola. “So I’m going to check myself into rehab with Max.” He told her, taking her hand.

"I'm doing this, and I am going to get the help and keep up. I am tired of living like this. I need to control myself better." Max told her frowning.

Lola stared at him, "Craig, if it helps I say go for it. But you can't just go do it and then get home and get pissed and start up again." Lola said quietly. "I support you, no matter what." Lola frowned.

Ava nodded. “I support you no matter what, babe.” She said and went to hug him. She leaned up and kissed him softly. “I love you.

“I know baby.” Craig said and sighed. “I’m going to try it because I’m tired of us fighting all the time and I don’t want to lose you.” He said.

"I love you too." Max whispered kisisng her back and cupping her cheeks. "I promise to make this stick." Max promised her.

Lola smiled softly at Craig and leaned in kissing his lips lightly. "I love you, Craig." She whispered.

Ava nodded. “Okay, babe.” She said and looked at him. “Can you wait until tomorrow to go so we can spend tonight together?” She asked.

Craig smiled and stood up to hug her. “I promise I’m going to get better baby.”

"I can do that." Max told her and smiled lightly.

Lola held onto her husband and nuzzled her face into his shoulder blade, "I trust you." Lola whispered.

“Can we go home? I just want to cuddle and watch tv.” Ava said as she looked at him.

“I’ll check myself in tomorrow so we can spend tonight together.” Craig told her.

"That we can." Max s miled lightly at her.

"I like that." Lola whispered looking up at him.

Ava smiled and took his hand as they walked out. “We’re going to head out.” She told Lola, giving her a hug.

Craig nodded, “thanks for coming by guys. I’ll see you tomorrow, Max.” He said, giving them each a hug.

Max took and nodded his head at Craig leaving with Ava. It wasn't long till they were home and in the bed. He held her close relaxing against her in the bed. "This is perfect." He whispered to her.

Lola looked at her husband seeing everyone gone. "Do you want to take and go upstairs?" Lola asked him.

Ava smiled as she laid against him. “Yeah, it is.” She said as she rested her head on his chest. “I’m glad you’re going to get help.”

“Yes.” Craig said. He got all the extra food picked up and took it inside and then went inside with her. He put the leftovers in the fridge before flllowing her upstairs.

"I'd do anything to keep from loosing the one woman that I love with all my heart." Max smiled kissing her lips lightly.

Getting in the bed with her husband, Lola curled up to his side resting her head against his chest.
