She scoffed, "Dogs?!" she said then pouted ,"They smell you know.. and they get... FLEAS," she shook her head, "they're terrible, no manners, always loud never know when they've over stayed their welcome," she trailed off then took a deep breath.

“I can cook for you if you want, you’ll need to come to my home though. And then I can pay you 2,000 for your bills or spending money, your choice.” She suggested.

“Are we still talking about dogs?” He asked her. “It’s fine I wanted prefer vampires now anyway.”

She smiled a little then looked at him, "Good," she said to him as she wet her lips then looked at him then back at the road, "so what are you craving lately,"

He nodded a little, "Okay," he said to her lightly then stretched a little.

Damarus stood to answer the door, hearing the doorbell and checking to see who it was. “Oh hey, are you here for food or..?” She asked Yugyeom as he walked in.

Jinyoung headed by the house knowing that Jaebum wouldn’t be there and let himself in. He found her in her study and smiled. “Still work with art?” He asked softly. “You know we need to talk sooner or later.”

He nodded as he picked up his laptop then began to order something to eat, "So what do yo udo?" he asked.

Ana nodded a litlte, "We can do that I'm a pretty proficient cook I'm sure I could whip it iup," she said to him.

Damarus stood to answer the door, hearing the doorbell and checking to see who it was. “Oh hey, are you here for food or..?” She asked Yugyeom as he walked in.

Jinyoung headed by the house knowing that Jaebum wouldn’t be there and let himself in. He found her in her study and smiled. “Still work with art?” He asked softly. “You know we need to talk sooner or later.”

She looked up and sighed as she set her pen down, "Yeah, and talk about what?" she asked as she sat back in her chair before pushing a hand through her blond hair, "There is nothing left," she murmured gently.

He nodded a little,"Yeah, I'm kind of hungry and I'm pretty sure tv dinners aren't what you mean by healthy," he said to her sheepishly.

She nodded. “Yes please eat healthier, even if you need to come daily, you don’t need to go full vegan but stop eating TV dinners,” She smiled a little. “Come on, ive got a full fridge and I can make almost anything. Anything you want in particular?”

“You’re lying and if you had a heartbeat we’d both hear.” He said to her, shaking his head. “We both know you missed me and you still love me, which is why I’m back. I won’t say I didn’t make a mistake.”

"I have Jaebum now, I care about him a lot," she murmured as she looked at him then wet her lips, "I've heard about you from others, said you were doing well," she murmured as she looked at him, "I've been with Jaebum for almost a year and a half now - he is.. he is what I need now, you were what I needed then and you left; whose to say you won't leave again?"

He shrugged, "I'm not picky, but I do like anything with chicken in it," he said to her as he shut the door behind him.

“Fried chicken okay?” She asked, walking over to the kitchen. “Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and some sort of vegetable,” She said and went over and opened the refrigerator. “Um, make yourself at home,”

“I’m not leaving you again. I left because I didn’t know what I was doing, now I do. And I never got remarried.” He told her.

He nodded, "That sounds good," he said as he hopped onto one of the stools to watch her. "So, do you mind if I can ask you where you're from?"

Ana looked at him, "Neither did I, and I never considered it till this year," she told him honestly, "We've been apart for... many years, almost 700; I don't belong to you, and you don't belong to me. We're separate people now, Jinyoung.... it's over and it's been over for a very long time,"

She shook her head. “I don’t mind, I figured you would have questions.” She said, pulling out a bowl for seasonings. “I was born in Virginia, in a town that doesn’t exist anymore. But I grew up in New York.”

Jinyoung shook his head. “I know you don’t mean that,” He said softly. “You can feed from whoever you want, but I want you.”

He nodded a little, "I bet things were very different then," he murmured lightly as he thought about it, "Who is your... maker?" he asked curiously as he looked at her.

"Jinyoung enough is seriously enough, I just... I can't do this, I wanted nothing but the world with you and you left I tried to find you for years you were far too young to be on your own but... you made it your mission to avoid me; so I gave up....two hundred years I gave up," she whispered as her eyes filled with blood tears - the only way vampires could cry, "so don't act like an insolent brat because you're not getting what you want now,"

“I didn’t know better!” He said angrily. “You we’re trying to teach me control and I didn’t want it because I didn’t know any better.” He said to her. “I was stupid of course and I made a mistake but I should be allowed to do that, you should know this.” He said seriously.

“Um someone way way old. One of my best friends, my sister basically. She was made by the same person, and she’s nearly 1000 years old. I’m much younger than her though. But I don’t really know much about him. I just know that he wanted me, for whatever reason. Beauty or my youth at the time,” she shrugged and began hearing the oil.

“Never really did much research into him, but I’m sure my friend knows, she could tell me if I asked.” She explained. “And things might have looked different sure, but people acted basically the same as they do now.”

She stood up from her desk and smoothed her skirt grabbing a napkin so she didn't get blood on her blouse, "Everyone is allowed mistakes, but I can't forgive this Jinyoung, I just can't," she said to him as her eyes flooded with more blood tears. "I don't want to argue, I'm with Jaebum now there is no more future for us Jinyoung... you'll find someone..."

He nodded,"A thousand years, she must be pretty fucking bored," he murmuredl ightly as he cringed.

"Nah, she keeps occupied. You kinda have to," She laughed a little. "She loves art, became an art museum curator. She's got a human boyfriend now, and they're basically just living life, as if she were human."

He shook his head, he knew he had to get Jaebum out of the picture. With him gone, he could get her back, and she'd return to him, hopefully. "You're so determined to shut me out for a human, he's going to die eventually. And then?"

"He doesn't have to die," she whispered softly as she looked at him then sighed a little, "I haven't talked to him about it yet, but I think he'd be up for it," this was something he definitely wouldn't want to hear but she had to say it.

He nodded a little, "Will she turn him?" he asked as he looked at her curiously, "I know there are some hoops you have to go through now to change someone - death and rebirth certificates except in cases of emergency,"

"I think she'd like to," She said, boiling the potatoes and cutting up the broccoli and rinsing them off. "Hasn't mentioned it to me directly, but I think she would. It's the only way they could stay together indefinitely. But thats hard, to find someone you could see yourself with forever."

"And if he says no? You havent asked which means you arent sure. So if he says no, in 80 years, what will you do?" He asked her, shaking her head. "Why put yourself through that?"

"Because when you're in love thats what you do," she said to him as she look at him, "Even when you're scared and unsure you push through because love is worth it," she told him as she wiped her tears away , "Fuck," she cursed as she looked at the blood coatng her hands, "I fucking hate this mess it makes every time I cry," she groaned.

He nodded a little,"Yeah, that'd be difficult - not sure if I could ever do it," he murmured, "As a vampire thats literally forever,"

"Not so bad, but I'm relatively young. So I can't speak much on it." She shrugged, going to get a glass of water and setting it in front of him. "Here, I won't make you give up soda but drink more water. You tasted like salt and sugar last time," She said to him.

He sighed, shaking his head before going to get her a cloth and wetting it. "Here. I don't want to see you cry so I'll stop talking now, but I don't want to let you go. Know that, alright?"
