Shaun blushed when she kissed him, "Yeah it would, but I doubt I'll find a girl I get along with aswell as you, she'll have a high bar to beat," he teased.
Shaun frowned softly, "Of course you are, and if a girl wants to be my girlfriend, she has to be at least as amazing as my best friend, or at least have her approval," he said. "And what do you mean, you're not great, you're amazeballs," he said.
Veronica sighed, “Shaun it wouldn’t be fair for your future girlfriend to have to live up to the standards you put. And I’m okay.” She laughed moments later, “this is why you’re my best friend always making me laugh
Shaun looked at her, "fine, but I still stick by the fact, you have to approve her, before we get too serious," he finally conceded. He climbed out of his car, "so what should we get to eat?" he asked.
Veronica chuckled, “okay, but only because I don’t want you dating a psycho who might kill me for “flirting” with you.” As she climbed out of the car Veronica thought about the food options, “I want something cheesy I guess.. pizza?”
Shaun nodded, "oh god no, I couldn't date a psycho, keep them away from me," he said. He smiled, "and I'll make sure anyone you date doesn't think they'll get away with hitting you," he said. He walked with her towards the pizza place down the block.
Veronica laughed shaking her head, “god, I love you. Always so crazy” she stopped laughing for a moment after Shaun kept talking, “thank you. After last time I hope not to run into more people like him,”
Shaun smiled sweetly, "if any do think they can, I'll teach them a lessen in manners," he said bluntly. He had zero respect for people hurting women. He moved closer to her, "alright lets get some food beautiful," he said.
Shaun shrugged, "no idea, what were you thinking, something extra cheesy, or meaty?" he asked. He walked with her into the place, and stood thinking. "Just think once I get that new job, we can eat at those romantic restaurants,' he teased. To outsiders it would seem that they were dating, as was often the case.
Veronica smiled, “cheese sounds good. Ooh and peppers and mushrooms” she laughed. Veronica kisses Shaun sweetly on his cheek, “that’s really sweet Shaun but you don’t have to take me to fancy places. You know as long as we’re together I don’t care where we are.”
Shaun blushed brightly, "yeah I know, but you deserve the finest of things," he said lightly. He pulled her close, "cheese peppers and mushrooms sounds good," he said. He moved forward to place their order.
Veronica smiled, “you’re so good to me what would I do without you?” She thought do a moment “bacon and chicken! How could I forget the meat?” She laughed.
Shaun slid in next to her, "come on cheer up, you got out, you're with me, and we're almost sorted with proper jobs," he said, putting his arm around her.
Veronica closed her eyes for s moment, “I can’t help it, I spent so much of my time with him..” she looked up rolling her eyes at the question, she laughed a moment later. “He was fine I guess, can’t say he gave me an orgasm so. I faked it for his sake.”
