Shaun sighed and curled up on the couch in the other room. He drifted to sleep

A Few hours later Veronica woke up yawning, she got up to check on Shaun. She smiled noticing him sleeping.

Shaun mumbled in his sleep, dreaming of Veronica, for the like thousandth time. "Ohh.. V, my word you're beautiful," he mumbled quietly.

Veronica looked at Shaun raising an eyebrow, was he really dreaming about her and why?

Shaun rolled over onto his side, trying to get more comfortable. His mumbling continued, simple repetitions of her name, and light moans.

Veronica looked at Shaun and walked knee to him taking a seat next to him rubbing his back.

Shaun's body relaxed, as he kept dreaming. He mumbled softly, "but I found the perfect girl V," as he slept. It was clear that Shaun was falling more and more in love with her each day.

Veronica watched as her best friend dreamt, she sat by him rubbing his back “oh Shaun.” She whispered. She didn’t know what to think or say about what she’s was seeing.

Shaun shifted in the bed, jolting awake slightly. "Oh, V sorry," he stuttered. He smiled softly, at her, "what's up?" he asked.

Veronica giggled softly rubbing his back gently “Sorry didn’t mean to startle you..” she looked at him “oh nothing just being lazy. You know the usual “

Shaun nodded softly, "it's fine, I like being woken by you," he said softly. He smiled, "What shall we do today?" he asked her softly, believing it was morning.

Veronica laughed shaking her head, “you must have passed out , Shaun it’s not daylight yet, we just took a nap.”

Shaun blinked a couple times, "oh my bad, sorry," he said gently. He shifted, sitting up, "did you get any sleep?" he asked softly.

Veronica chuckled “don’t worry about it and I got some sleep.” She sat next to him, “how are you doing?”

Shaun blushed softly, and looked at her, "I'm... okay," he said softly. He smiled weakly, "just trying to get my head around all the changes," he said.

Veronica tilted her head in confusion while looking at Shaun, “changes? What do you mean? Like the job?”

Shaun nodded, "yeah, the job, and the new city," he said softly. He put his arm around her, "it'd be much harder if you weren't here though," he said.

Shaun frowned, "no I would have been broken," he said. He sighed softly, "what are we going to do tonight?" he asked her.

Veronica leaned over and kissed his cheek, “I don’t want to believe that,” Veronica thought for a moment “we can just chill, and play some games?”
