Loki nodded his head “it’s really her,” he told Thor totally understanding the confusion he had to be feeling. They had both been there when she died after all. “I hadn’t been sure earlier when she was interrogating me because she’d claimed that she’d never met me and she didn’t have a soulmark, but it had been hard to believed she couldn’t be her somehow give me what she looks like. Then right before she passed out it was as if everything came back and she remembered who I am,” he said knowing how insane it sounded, but Loki was hopefully going to get another chance to be with the woman he loved so he didn’t really care what it sounded like. He felt his heart sink however when the strange beeping started and more of the medical staff rushed into the room. “I do hope you’re right,” he said before taking a seat in the first chair he saw unable to stand and wait for answers anymore.
Ellie had never been to Stark tower before. Of course she’d heard of it and him, he was after all a pretty well known man. However he’d never truly made it onto her radar. Being there now though when she somewhat of the situation that unfolded out in the streets moments before made her feel like she shouldn’t be there crashing a moment like this, someone was being operated on after all and it was life or death. But Thor has asked her to meet him so he could explain everything and she did want answers, plus well she’d definitely felt a pull to him since she’d laid eyes on him. And it was more than just because he was handsome. “Is it okay for me to wait with you guys? Or I mean I can come back later. I could even leave my address if I needed to so you could find me a better time if that works,” she said biting her lip again as she didn’t want to impose at such a rough time.

"Her soulmark's not there?" Thor asked his brother. That was strange to say the least. Although, there wasn't exactly anything about this entire situation that wasn't at least a little bit strange. The god of thunder really didn't know what to make of most of it. Why did Sigyn have to end up on the brink of death? She and his brother were being given a second chance. He knew that his brother hadn't exactly been doing good things lately, but he was a better person when Sigyn was alive. There souls were clearly intertwined, so why make Loki go through this all over again? It just didn't make any sense to him at all. "I'm sure she'll be fine." He said, though he did grow a bit worried as more medical staff rushed into the room.

Before he could say anything else on the matter, Ellie arrived. He smiled when he saw her walk through the doors, instantly feeling more relieved just having her there with him. There was still another feeling there as well that he hadn't quite sorted out just yet, but it was always there whenever she was with him. "It's no trouble at all, you can stay." He assured her. He had just found her, he didn't want to spend time away from her unless he had to.

Loki nodded his head, “it wasn’t there. Which is odd I know, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t her. Because it is.” He said knowing fully well that it was her. Loki did hope that his luck wasn’t so bad that he’d lose her again. He wanted another chance with her. One that would actually last. Loki would literally do anything to get to keep her this time around. He would give up everything if he had to. Literally anything. “I truly do hope you’re right,” he said honestly afraid of what he might do if he lost her again. Which he knew he’d done some pretty messed up things already, but losing her a second time would break him beyond repair. “Who is that?” Loki asked his brother clearly out the loop on some things.
Ellie smiled at Thor as she walked farther into the room. She didn’t know what she was expecting or what she even really wanted to come from this. All she knew was that she felt drawn to Thor and she kind of wanted some answers about things. “Okay,” she said softly. “So have you heard any news?” She asked deciding that rather than jump right into asking Thor for answers about she should make sure his friend was okay or at least see if they had heard anything about it. Plus she did care, she hoped that whoever the girl was to them that she came out of this okay.

"I don't doubt that it's her, brother." Thor said. "I just find it strange that she no longer has a soulmark. I would say it's possible because Midgardians don't have them, but it is possible for them to have them as well." It wasn't very common, but it was possible. He had discovered that today, and he honestly wondered what others thought when they saw that Ellie had one. Were other Midgardians unaware of what it meant as well, or had Ellie simply had no one in her life who had one besides her? He'd ask her later he supposed. He had a lot to tell her as he had found out, and he felt as though he had some questions of his own for her as well.

"Brother, this is Ellie Brookes. She is my soulmate." He said with a smile. He'd spent so much time thinking about the moment that he would meet her, that this all still honestly felt pretty surreal. "Ellie, this is my brother Loki." He figured introductions would help pass the time a little bit better, though he did hope that they would hear something about Sigyn soon. He was certain that his brother's patience would only last so long. "We haven't heard anything yet, but no news is better than bad news."

Loki shrugged his shoulders, he wasn’t sure why she didn’t have one either though it wasn’t really that big a deal considering he knew who she was and that they were soulmates. He raised his brow in interest however when his brother introduced him to Ellie Brookes, a name he’d heard so often growing up himself simply because Thor would talk about her and how much he wanted to meet her. “I wasn’t expecting that,” Loki said actually feeling a little happy for his brother given he knew how long Thor had dreamed of meeting her. Though it did come as a shock to him that his brothers soulmate was simply a human, and at the same time it actually made total sense that he’d be destined for someone from earth rather than a warrior woman from Asgard. “I’m going to go and see if I can get any answers, because I can’t wait around any longer not knowing. And I promise I won’t overreact and hurt anyone,” he told Thor before standing up so he could walk down the hall and hopefully get some answers. Plus it would give Thor some probably much needed alone time with Ellie. It would also give Loki alone time to process everything as well.
“That is true, it’s a good sign so far if you haven’t heard any news,” Ellie said knowing that at least meant she was still alive which was good. She understood the panic that came with that also though. So she totally got it when Loki got up to go down the hall to try and figure something out, plus he probably needed some time alone to just process everything. “Well then I guess it’s just us then,” she said biting her lip out of nerves this time. She was all alone with the most handsome man she’d ever laid eyes on about to get some major answers to questions she’d had for a long time, and it honestly made her nervous. She didn’t know why, but they did.

"Don't mind my brother, he has a lot on his mind right now." Thor told Ellie as he watched his brother walk down the hall. He knew that Loki's main concern right now was Sigyn and making sure that the Midgardian doctors were able to save her. He didn't want to think about what would likely happen if they weren't able to do so. It had been bad enough the first time he lost Sigyn, the god of thunder could only imagine what would happen if he lost her a second time. "The woman Stark's doctors are trying to save is my brother's wife, Sigyn. She was my friend. We thought she was lost to us centuries ago, but were clearly mistaken.” He explained, figuring his brother’s actions would seem more justifiable if he did. “I just hope that they can save her. I don’t want Loki to go through losing her again.” He sighed.

“But you’re here now, and I assume you have a lot of questions you would like answered.” He had a lot of questions for her as well. He had spent some time on Midgard, but not enough to fully know about them, how they lived, etc. Honestly, more than Midgardian customs and ways of life, he wanted to know everything about her. It would be a welcomed distraction right now anyway. Although this was all harder on his brother than it was on him, he didn’t want to think about losing a good friend like Sigyn again either.
The doctors were doing everything that they could to save the young woman. Her body was showing early signs of shock when she was first brought in. The injury was much worse than anything Mr. Stark had come home with in the past though, and the biggest concern had been ensuring that she didn’t bleed out. She had flatlined once already, but they managed to stabilize her for the time being and were working tirelessly to stop the bleeding. It was a much more in-depth process, and her injury was one that didn’t just require a couple of stitches. No, they had to make sure that there was no internal bleeding before they did that. Truth be told, the head surgeon was pretty surprised that they hadn’t lost her completely just yet. They hadn’t though, she was still breathing, and until they knew there was nothing that they could do, they would continue working.

Ellie nodded in understanding glad she now knew why this woman was so important to them both. “I hope they can save her too,” she told him not wanting Loki to lose his wife again, but she didn’t want Thor to lose a friend again either, even if that sounded weird. “And yes I do have some questions actually. So I’ll just start asking them,” she said running her fingers through her hair. “Like this mark on our arms. I understand it means we’re soulmates but I guess I don’t understand how it works. If that makes sense. I mean you’re a God and I’m just a human. Isn’t that like forbidden or something like that? Not that I mind it because I mean you are extremely handsome, but I guess it’s strange for me to think that we’re destined to be together.”

Ellie hoped that she wasn’t going to upset him or change the course of history or something insane by being confused. “I’m also slightly curious on how that would even work. Because I mean this is my home, and I don’t even know where you’re from, plus wouldn’t you have to give up your powers or something to be with me? And if so am I truly that special because I mean you’re a hero you save the world, and I’m just Ellie a girl from Brooklyn,” she added. Ellie truly did want this to work however that was, and despite that she sounded skeptical, because even though she had only just met him she had all these emotions running through her that she’d never felt around anyone else before.
Loki made it down the hall to the door Sigyn was behind, and he wanted to barge right in and demand someone tell him what was happening, but he knew that would likely slow things down and he didn’t want to do anything that could do harm to her. So he stood and watched for a few moments before he’d laid his head against the glass and closed his eyes. “Please don’t leave me again, I can’t lose you again. You have to fight to stay alive and I know you can,” Loki pleaded honestly hoping she could hear him and it would be helpful. Because he was out of options. He wasn’t the God of healing and had no power to control who lived or died, and if he did then she wouldn’t have died the first time.

Thor nodded. "Thank you." He said. He really didn't know how is brother would react if they weren't able to save Sigyn. He had reacted poorly last time, but now if his second chance with her was ripped away from him, well, he could only imagine what his brother would do this time. In the mean time, answering any and all questions that Ellie had would serve as a much-needed distraction. He didn't know how much longer they would be waiting to hear back from Stark's medical staff, and he didn't want to just sit here in complete silence. That would just make time pass even more slowly than it already was.

He smiled when she called him extremely handsome. "I wouldn't say that it is forbidden so much as it is very uncommon." He told her. He knew that there were many Asgardians who would likely frown upon this, especially with Thor being one of the princes, but his mother already knew who Ellie was. She had seen it years ago, and she hadn't seemed to have an issue with it. If his father did, well, Frigga would likely convince him not to. "I come from Asgard, and I do not think that giving up my powers would be necessary. I've travelled between realms before, I can continue to do so. Unless you would like to come back to Asgard with me. You'll likely have to at some point, my mother and father will want to meet you, and I'm sure they will want to make an announcement to the common folk as well with you present." He frowned slightly when she tried to sell herself short. "You are so much more than that, Ellie Brookes. I saw you out there today. There are very few humans that I know would step up to fight off those beasts. Even some of Asgard's fiercest warriors would hesitate to do so, but you did not."
The doctors had to be extremely careful with each step that they took. With the severity of the wound, they couldn't simply stitch the young woman up and call it a day. They had been working tirelessly for quite some time now, and once they were certain they had stopped any internal bleeding, and ensured that there was no damage to any vital organs, they were able to progress. The young woman was stable now, though she had not woken up just yet. That would take time, and there was no telling for sure just when she would wake up after going through the trauma that she had. Once the doctors were certain she was in stable condition, the head surgeon exited the room. One of the men who had brought her in was just outside of the room. The surgeon hadn't asked any questions as to why the person responsible for the alien invasion was so concerned about this woman, but the invasion had been stopped anyway, and Mr. Stark had assured his staff that everything was under control now. "She's in stable condition now, but she hasn't woken up yet. You're welcome to wait in there with her, my staff will be in to check on her periodically." She told him.

“Wait are you like royalty?!” Ellie asked shocked slightly that not only was he some kind of God but he was also probably a prince. And that meant she would have to travel to Asgard and meet his parents, and his people. That hadn’t been what she was expecting, though it was terrifying and exciting at the same time. “Will I get to Dress is some kind of fancy Asgard clothing because honestly that’s pretty awesome. Not that we don’t have nice clothing here but I mean princesses get the coolest clothes. And Queens get even better outfits. I used to dream of being a queen when I was little, I didn’t think it would ever happen though.” She said not even realizing that she was rambling on and probably sounded crazy.

Ellie couldn’t help but smile when he mentioned how brave she’d been, and how there were women from Asgard who were warriors who wouldn’t have done what she did. “I didn’t even really think about it. I mean I’m not a warrior by any means, but I do love my city. So do you have any questions for me? Because I think I’m going to be a little overwhelmed if we keep talking about Asgard,”
“Thank you,” Loki said to the dr when they came out of the room and were done operating on her. He walked into the room and took a seat right next to her bed. He took her hand in his own and just held it hoping that maybe being close to her would somehow help her recover all the way and wake up. All Loki wanted right now was to hear her voice again and know that things would be okay. He also wanted to apologize for everything and promise to be a better person for her. He needed her to be okay. “I’m going to be right here when you wake up Sigyn. I promise,” he said softly before kissing her head.

"Yes, I am Thor, Son of Odin, crown-prince of Asgard." Thor told her. He hoped that this all wasn't too overwhelming for her. It was one thing for her not to know what a soulmark was, but for her to find out that her soulmate was a prince and a god, well, he could only assume that it was at least a little overwhelming. She seemed to be handling it better than most people would have though. He chuckled when she continued asking him questions about how she would get to dress and what she had dreamt of as a child. "Of course. You will get to wear gowns made of the finest silk in all of Asgard." He said. "And, well, your dreams were not far off at all. I am to ascend to the throne after my father dies, and you shall be my queen...if you want to, of course."

Thor truly meant what he had said about her brave acts that day. She clearly had the heart of a warrior, and could easily put some of Asgard's best fighters to shame. It made sense though. After all, his soulmate would have to have the heart of a warrior considering who he was. "I was hoping that you would tell me more about yourself. I feel as though I already know you, but at the same time I don't."
Sigyn could hear him. She had heard him earlier as well, pleading for her to be alright, for Stark's medical staff to save her. And she did fight. She fought the hardest that she could so that their history did not repeat itself. She had only just remembered her beloved husband and, although there were some things she already knew he had done that she was not pleased about, she still loved him. She wanted to remain by his side through all of the consequences that would likely follow his actions. She knew that Odin would be furious and that her husband's actions would likely be deemed treasonous, but Sigyn would still remain by his side as she had always intended. She just needed to find the strength to wake up so that she could do so.

Ellie was really trying hard not to be overwhelmed by all the information he’d given her. She was also silently hoping this wasn’t some dream and it was reality even though it was a bit odd, honestly her family probably wouldn’t believe her if she told them any of this. “That’s just wow.” Was all she could say right now. Ellie totally understood that being the queen was a huge deal and it came with a ton of responsibility, and that maybe if she’d grown up royal she wouldn’t want all the pressure, but for someone like her who had grown up not royal it seemed exciting. Overwhelming yes, but exciting.

“Oh, okay about me. Let’s see” Ellie said running her fingers through her hair again. “Well I’m from Brooklyn. I run a bakery with one of my best friends. We both went to NYU for business though I got a double major so I also did advertisement and then found a way to minor in accounting so pretty much I went to college and didn’t have a life at all. Literally all I did was drink coffee and go to class I barely had the time to sleep. How far back did you want me to go actually?” She asked him wondering if he wanted to know everything or just the major stuff so like the last five years. Otherwise she’d likely ramble on and get boring.

Thor knew that this all was probably a bit overwhelming for her, but he was glad that he had at least filled her in on the important things. There were other matters he would still need to discuss with her, but they could wait. So long as she knew who he was and what being his soulmate entailed for the most part there wouldn't likely be too many shocks once he did take her to Asgard with him. He didn't know when that would be, but he assumed once he brought his brother back and all of that was sorted out then he could tell his parents about Ellie. Although, Frigga would likely already know, but that was besides the point. He would still tell them and then he would definitely need to bring her to Asgard, unless, of course, she chose to come with him when he took his brother back. He would leave that up to her though. Whatever she felt was best for her. That was truthfully all he cared about at the moment. "I know it's quite overwhelming, but you seem to be taking it better than anyone else likely would." He said with a slight chuckle.

He listened as she told him about herself, honestly, hanging on to each and every word that came out of her mouth. He realized rather quickly that he could probably listen to her talk all afternoon about anything and everything and he would be completely and utterly enthralled by her. There wasn't anything that she could say that he wouldn't find interesting. "It's sounds as though you're very driven and dedicated. That's good." He said with a nod. "I'm willing to listen to whatever you would like to tell me about yourself."
[That's what I was going to ask too, haha]

Sigyn didn't know how much time had passed since she blacked out in the midst of that destroyed building. All she knew was, however long it may have been, her husband continued talking to her. That was honestly what kept her going and fighting to regain consciousness. She had been taken away from him once before, they had centuries of time apart to make up for, and she didn't want to spend it sleeping in a hospital bed. It was completely and utterly frustrating to say the least, and after some time had past, and she was mentally and physically exhausted from trying to wake up, she found that the disconnect between her mind and body seemed to dissipate. Slowly, she began to regain feeling throughout her body until she finally willed herself to open her eyes. She didn't say anything at first. Instead, she saw a head of dark locks leaning against the side of her bed in what she assumed wasn't a very comfortable position at all. She imagined that this all had been a lot for her husband to go through even though quite a bit of it was his own doing. Nevertheless, she found herself smiling as she touched the side of his face lightly. In sleep, he seemed just like the man she had left behind centuries ago. Kind, mischievous, youthful and so much more.

"Thanks," Ellie said pretty sure she was blushing. "Well growing up it was just me and my dad because my mom left us when I was little. He put me in sports which I did enjoy, but I think he did so I'd be busy and wouldn't notice my mom not being around. And I'm thankful for that because despite her not being around I had a happy childhood. It was nice. Though I think soccer was my favorite to play. Do you guys have sports on Asgard?" She asked curious to know what the did for fun in this other world he lived in. Plus well if they didn't have sports on Asgard or at least earthly sports, as she supposed they'd be called, then she was sure that Thor would be a little confused and she'd have to explain them, not that she minded.

"So I guess since I'll eventually have to meet your family that means you should meet mine as well," she said biting her lip just thinking about that. Ellie loved her family after all her dad had raised her and she felt like he'd done a good job, her grandparents were literally the sweetest people she knew, and well her aunt was a hoot all the time. Ellie's aunt had helped her dad out a lot too with raising her. But the thing was that she didn't know how well her family would take and accept her soulmate being a God and a prince. Because it was out there for sure. She kind of hoped they'd be happy for her though. "When that does come around I just want you to know now that I'm sorry," she told him fully understanding that the way they would react may come off as strange, and it would likely make her uncomfortable.
Loki was dreaming of happier things that what we're going on in reality, which had been how it was a lot actually. Over the last few centuries, his dreams always seemed to be happier than the reality he found himself in. Though he did hope that soon it would be better given he'd actually found Sigyn again somehow and they were hopefully being given a second chance. Loki wouldn't say that the position he'd found himself laying in was comfortable, but it was a position he would easily put himself into every night if it meant getting to be close to the one he loved.

"I'm not leaving Thor," Loki mumbled registering the feeling of something on his face and assuming it was his brother. Though if he were slightly more awake he would have easily realized that the hand touching his face was much too small and soft to be his brother's hand, which were both large and not quite as soft as a woman's hand. Also, Thor would have likely just slapped his face rather than being so gentle. After all those things processed through his sleepy mind, he came to the realization that it was a woman touching his face, and the only woman in the room was Sigyn. He'd never woken up quite so fast in his life. "Sigyn?"

Thor listened as she told him about her childhood. He was surprised when she told him that she had grown up without her mother, he couldn't imagine why anyone would want to leave their husband and child. Ellie seemed like an amazing person, so it was really her mother's loss that she hadn't been in her daughter's life. It sounded as though Ellie had a great childhood though, and it seemed as though she was rather close with the family that she did have. "We do have some forms of entertainment like that, although I think what we find to be recreational sport on Asgard is a bit different than what is popular here on Midgard." He told her before continuing on. "It sounds like you and your father are rather close."

When she said that he should meet her family as well he smiled. He was more than happy to meet her family. It was clear that she was close with them, and that they meant a lot to her, and if they were important to her then he wanted to meet them. "What are you apologizing for already? You haven't even introduced me to them yet." He chuckled. He wondering what it was about her family that had her apologizing to him already. If she was so close to them, he couldn't imagine them being bad people. He could tell that Ellie was a good person, so that wouldn't make much sense at all if her family wasn't made up of decent people as well.
Sigyn couldn't let the giggle that escaped her lips when her husband mumbled something about not leaving to his brother. She sort of regretted laughing a bit after it happened though, she was realizing that she was rather sore, though she supposed it made sense considering she had had a piece of sharp metal embedded into her stomach earlier that day. She didn't know how she managed to survive that, but she was glad that she had. Knowing that she was being given a second chance with her husband was all that she had needed to motivate her and make her want to fight for her life.

"Does your brother wake you like this often then?" She questioned, the amusement evident in her voice as she watched the realization hit him. She smiled when he fully woke up and realized that she was awake as well. "I told you we would see each other again." She said quietly. She didn't know who had decided to give them a second chance after their time together had been cut short, but she was thankful to whoever was responsible for this. "I missed you, my love."

“We are, really close. I’m apologizing now because as much as I love my family I also know them. And well my aunt tends to be a little handsy at times. And my grandma doesn’t exactly have a filter so sometimes she comes off rude without meaning to. But I guess that comes with age maybe.” Ellie said laughing slightly. “I do enjoy watching movies. My family actually has this Christmas tradition where we bake lots of goodies together and watch all our favorite Christmas movies. Also once a month we get together for a family night where we play games, watch movies, and have a meal together while we catch up. Since I don’t live with my dad anymore I just don’t see him as much and we like to stay informed on one another life,”

Talking about her family made Ellie realize she didn’t even know if they were okay, and they were probably worried about her too. “I’ll be right back,” she said quickly biting her. “I just realized that I need to check in on my family actually. Make sure they’re okay and let them know I’m okay. But I’ll need to use someone’s phone,” she added before looking around for anyone she could ask.
Loki chuckled at his wife and shook his head. “No, no he doesn’t. I mean when we were younger he’d hit me as softly as he could to wake me sometimes but that’s it.” He said knowing Thor never meant harm by it. After all if he had all he’d have to do would be hit at his full strength. “I know. But it’s been a while and I wasn’t expecting it to take this long,” he said knowing that neither of them could see into the future and would know when they’d meet again. But at least they were together now.

“I’ve missed you too my love,” Loki said kissing her head gently and feeling happier than he’d been in a long time. He knew that a lot of the things he’d done over the last few years alone was bad. Just like he knew that Thor was going to have to take him back to Asgard and he’d have to face some kind of punishment for what he’d done, but all of that seemed okay because he had his love back. And he knew that even though what he’d done was wrong, she would stay by his side. Which was one of the many reasons he loved her so much.

Thor chuckled at her words. "I'm sure your family is wonderful." He told her. If they were as important to her as they seemed, then he wanted to meet them. "Christmas is a holiday here, correct? We don't celebrate it on Asgard, though I do think that it derives from our holiday, Yule." He was familiar with some of the Misgardian traditions and beliefs, but very few. He hadn't spent enough time in this realm to know much just yet. He figured he would learn a great deal from Ellie, and he would tell her everything that she needed to know about Asgardian traditions. "It sounds like you have a lot of traditions with your family." He looked forward to learning more about her family traditions and maybe even eventually partaking in some of them with her.

When she told him that she needed to call her family to make sure that they were alright, he nodded. "I'm sure Stark has a phone you can use. Just ask his bodiless voice friend. Jarvis?" He called, staring up at the ceiling. "Yes, Mr. Odinson?" Jarvis responded almost immediately after. "Does Stark have a phone that the lady may use?" The god of thunder questioned. "Why yes, of course. There is one just down the hall."
Sigyn smiled. She had always loved hearing her husband talk about what things had been like when he and Thor were children. Her husband tended to be the more mischievous of the two, but he did get his brother in on some of his schemes as well. They were rather convincing when the two were together as she remembered it, and they could quite easily talk their way out of situations when they were children from what Frigga told her. "It has been a very long time." She agreed. She hadn't expected for them to be apart for this long. Although, when she told him that she would see him again, it had honestly been her way of comforting him more than anything else. She was glad that they were being given a second chance though. "But we're together now and that's all that matters."

She knew that things likely wouldn't be easy once they returned to Asgard. Her husband would be facing a punishment of some kind most likely for his actions here on Midgard. But Sigyn would stay by his side. She always would, regardless of what he got himself into. She didn't agree with what he had done here necessarily, and she wasn't about to ask Odin to pardon her husband from his punishment, but that didn't mean she was going to abandon him. When they married, she had promised to stay by his side for as long as she was alive, and she intended on keeping that promise now that they were together again.

“Yes, it’s probably cliche, but it’s my favorite holiday actually. I can’t help but love it though. The lights are pretty, there’s snow, and hot chocolate with peppermint. It’s just the most magical time of the year,” Ellie told Thor getting all giddy over the holidays and they weren’t even close. “Thank you,” Ellie said moments later when Jarvis spoke and told her where to find a phone. It was slightly freaky for a moment hearing a voice without there being a person. But it wasn’t anything she couldn’t get used to. “I’ll be right back,” she told Thor before walking down the hall to find the phone so she could check in with her family.

It made her slightly nervous when her dad didn’t pick up his phone because he always answered her. It had never mattered what the situation was he always picked up. And she knew it wasn’t because the number was unfamiliar because even though Ellie hardly ever picked up a number she didn’t know her dad normally did, well if it was a local number anyways. She didn’t know what to do honestly. She had no idea where her cell phone was, and if she did get lucky enough to find it the likeliness of it being in tack was slim to none. So she let out a nervous shaky breath before hanging up the phone she’d been using and made her way back down the hall just trying to get her mind to calm down long enough to think of what she should do.
Loki smiles honestly just glad to have her back in his life. “I’m a little scared of what’s going to happen when we return to Asgard,” he told her knowing he needdd to be straight with her. And while he knew that he was going to be punished, and that he did deserve it given how he’d spent the last couple of years especially, that didn’t mean he wasn’t scared. Loki may have come off as someone who was never truly scared of anything, but that was quite frankly a lie. There were plenty of things that scared him. One of those things being how his father would punish him.

“And I know it’s my own fault because but that doesn’t meant I’m not scared,” he added wondering how he could be so lucky enough to have been blessed with someone as amazing as Sigyn, not once but twice. Because he knew that it had to be sheer luck that they’d found one another again. And this time he wasn’t going to lose her. He was going to make sure she didn’t get taken from him again. So he’d be on his best behavior if that’s what it meant. Though last time it had been a freak accident that had taken her or as far as he knew it was a freak accident.

"It sounds wonderful." Thor smiled. He could tell that she really enjoyed that time of year. It wasn't just in what she was telling him, but the light that seemed to shine in her eyes as well. He was glad that he was learning so many different things about her already. He knew that there was likely quite a bit more to come with it, but they were off to a great start already. She had told him a decent amount about herself, and he had told her some things about himself. If she wanted to hear more later on, then he would tell her, but he didn't want to overwhelm her too much.

He nodded when she told him that she would be back shortly. "I'll be here." He said. The god of thunder watched as she walked away, honestly still almost finding all of this beyond surreal. He still couldn't believe that he had actually found her finally. He knew that his mother would likely already know, but he couldn't wait to tell her once he returned to Asgard and everything with his brother was sorted out. As much as he believed his brother should be held responsible for his actions, he also hoped that their father wasn't too harsh on Loki. Not when there was a good chance he had just gotten his wife back. He could only imagine how hard that would be on both of them. He looked up when he heard footsteps, smiling at first when he saw Ellie had returned, though, as he took in the expression on her face, he could tell that something was clearly off. "Is everything alright?" He asked her.
Sigyn took his hand in hers as he voiced his fears of their return to Asgard. Her husband had never been one to admit such things, and it had taken her a while to convince him that he could be honest with her and that she wouldn't think him to be any less of a man for being afraid of certain things. "I know, love. No matter what happens, I'll be there for you." She assured him. She planned on sticking by his side regardless of whatever Odin's punishment was likely to be. She wanted that to be known. Yes, she believed that her husband deserved whatever punishment his father bestowed upon him, but that didn't mean she was going to leave him to face it alone. She'd be there for him in whatever capacity that she could. "I'm not pleased with what you have done, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be there for you. I will, no matter what happens."

[Sorry Sigyn's is short, I wanted to get a post up before I went out ]

“I can’t get ahold of my dad,” Ellie said running her fingers through her hair and letting out a soft sigh. “And I’m just worried,” she told him wishing she had any clue on what she should do. But it was a mess outside, and there were people everywhere probably all searching for their own loved ones which always made it harder honestly. “Honestly I don’t know what to do. Because it’s going to be chaotic out there and I don’t know what to do,” Ellie said knowing for sure that she just needed to figure out some kind of game plan and then hopefully the emotional state she felt stuck in would change.
Loki sighed softly and smiled at his wife. “I know, what I’ve spent my time doing wasn’t what I should have done. And I know that nothing excuses it, which is why I am going to accept my punishment when we do return. But I am a little worried about what it may be,” he told her unable to truly express how happy it made him to have her in his life again. He was overjoyed truly that he had his wife back, and that she loved him through everything still. Because well Loki did know that he could be hard to handle sometimes and she yet loved him.

[ you’re fine, sorry mine was short. I kind of couldn’t find anything else to say lol. ]

[You're totally fine, happens to me sometimes too lol]

"Your actions likely won't be taken lightly, but regardless of what your punishment is, what matters is you realize that what you did was wrong." Sigyn told him. She always saw this inner batter within her husband. He had always been a good person with her, but she sometimes saw these instances when his actions seemed to toe the line a bit. She was always the one to ground him and draw him back away from that line whenever she saw him close to crossing it. She hadn't been there this time though. She planned on being there through everything else though. She wasn't going to leave him again, and she would be there with him as he took whatever punishment Odin bestowed upon him. "As I said before, I will be by your side through whatever Odin chooses to bestow upon you. It's one of the promises I made when I married you, and I intend on keeping it."
Thor frowned. He could tell that she was extremely worried. "Are you certain that he didn't pick up simply because he did not hear his telephone?" He asked her. He had a feeling she wouldn't be nearly as worried if that were the case though. "Where did you say your father lived? If it's not far from here, I can take you there, and you can be sure that he is safe." He knew that with everything that had happened today, it would put her mind at ease if she knew that her father was okay. He didn't like seeing her worry this way, so he would do whatever he could to ensure that she didn't worry. Honestly, he'd do whatever he could to help. "Let me inform my brother that I will be leaving, and I should tell Stark as well."
