Loki truly did wonder often when he was around Sigyn how and why he of all people had been blessed with someone like her. Especially when there were all around good people already like his brother. Loki could very easily picture his brother and Sigyn married and ruling over Asgard together because they were both good people who anyone who knew them would say should be together. That’s not what destiny had in mind though. Rather destiny would have Sigyn with someone slightly broken and in a constant battle with right and wrong. And Thor was to be with a Misguardian who Loki was sure he was going to get to know better in the coming future. “Oh, so Thor apparently found his soulmate, I met her briefly before coming into your room to check on you.” Loki said deciding to brighten up the mood some and well he had no good news about his own life so why not share someone else’s.
“With everything that’s went on out there I guess it is possible that maybe he lost his phone or didn’t hear it. But I am worried.” Ellie told Thor knowing fully well that she may not like the outcome of searching for her dad, but it needed to be done for her own wellbeing. “It isn’t far from here. He still lives in Brooklyn where I grew up. But he works here in the city,” she added before nodding her head. “Of course let your brother know what you’re doing, and Mr. Stark too,” she added feeling a small bit of relief that Thor was going to help her try and find her dad. She wasn’t sure how it was going to go but at least it was going.

Sigyn never once questioned why she was destined to be with Loki. She never realized that he questioned why she was with him constantly. Nor did she realize that more recent discoveries about his lineage made him see himself in a very different light. Like many of the other children of Asgard, she had grown up hearing stories of the horrid frost giants. She had yet to discover that her husband actually was one, and that he was son of Laufey, the leader of the frost giants no less. Those discoveries were all ones that had occurred after she died.

She had always seen the good in him though. Even back before he got involved in alien invasions and other similar actions he had this tendency to put himself down or see himself in a negative light. Sigyn was always the one to talk him down when those situations happened. "Did he now?" She asked, smiling at the thought of Thor finally finding his soulmate. "That's fantastic news! I'm happy for him."
Thor nodded. "I'm sure your father's fine, but fear not. We will go search for him just to be sure." He assured her with a smile. He understood why she would be worried about her father. The city had been complete and utter chaos for most of the day, and even now things were likely to still be pretty chaotic what with all the damage the chiutari had done. "We shall go to Brooklyn then. I'll be back shortly, Lady Ellie." He smiled at her once more before walking down the hall in the direction his brother had gone earlier. He was pleased to see that Stark's medical staff was no longer rushing in and out of the room, and when he walked in, he found that Sigyn was awake and she appeared to be doing well as she conversed with his brother.

"Lady Sigyn! I'm glad to see that you're awake." He said happily. He still honestly couldn't believe that it was her, but there was no one who his brother ever looked to with such adoration, and the look in Sigyn's eyes was fairly similar. "It's great to see you again, Thor! Your brother did not tell me you were in the tower presently." Thor chuckled when the brunette shot a look his brother's way. "It's quite alright. I didn't want to intrude." The god of thunder then looked to his brother. "I'm taking Ellie to look for her father. I shouldn't be gone long."

"He sure did," Loki said honestly happy for his brother too, he also wasn't shocked that Sigyn was happy for Thor given how close they'd been before she'd died. "Speak of the devil," Loki said when Thor walked into the room to tell him that apparently, he was leaving for a short time. "Well good luck," Loki told his brother hoping everything went well with that. He was actually a little happy that Thor was about to leave with Ellie for a bit because it meant he had that much more time before he had to go back to Asgard, which also meant he had that much more time with Sigyn to catch up on everything she'd missed in the time she'd been gone.

"So why don't we play catch up," Loki said knowing that there were things that Sigyn needed to know about. Because well a lot had happened since she'd died that he felt like he needed to get her caught up on. It was things that he had been struggling with, and that he was still struggling with if he were being honest. And Loki didn't think that Sigyn knowing these things about him would make them easier for him to deal with but he did feel like her knowing would be helpful and who knew maybe and hopefully it'd be comforting.
Ellie nodded her head and smiled in Thor's direction glad he was going to help her. "Thank you," she told him hoping that Thor was right and that her dad was fine. Which she could totally understand today of all days given everything that'd happened. And in all honesty, all of this kind of made her want to take a break for a while. Ellie knew that this 'war' hadn't really gone on that long, but all the chaos and then the worrying about someone, wasn't something she wanted to deal with. Plus it'd be nice to get away for a while, go somewhere new and see new things. Maybe going to Asgard with Thor when he took his brother back would be good.

Honestly, even without worrying about her dad, or the rest of her family for that matter, Ellie was dealing with a lot of emotions today. Her city had been under attack only earlier today, she'd met her apparent soulmate, she'd also found out that he's from another planet. Plus there was everything that had been discussed before the city went under attack. There was just a lot. Not to mention there were so many things still about Thor that she didn't know and wanted to figure out. And the best way probably for her to find out everything she wanted, and may or may not need to know would be too just go home with him and figure it out. Plus Ellie knew she'd have to go with him eventually and maybe the sooner the better.

Sigyn wouldn't mind prolonging their return to Asgard for as long as possible. She was perfectly content sitting here, talking with her husband. She knew that once they returned, Odin likely wouldn't delay in bestowing Loki's punishment upon him. She believed that he deserved whatever punishment the Allfather chose for him, but that didn't mean she necessarily wished for it to occur just when they had been reunited. She tried to remind herself that they had spent centuries apart and that they could withstand whatever his punishment would be as well, but she did wish that they could just go back to how things were before she had died. Because everything had been perfect then. She was married to her soulmate and there had been no sign of them separating ever.

"Please tell Ellie that I do look forward to meeting her." Sigyn told Thor with a smile. She knew that he had waited quite some time now to meet his soulmate, and she was happy that he had finally found her. Once Thor left, she looked to her husband, nodding in response to his words. "I'm sure we have a lot to catch up on." She said.
Thor beamed when Sigyn said that he looked forward to meeting Ellie. "I will let her know of your eagerness to meet her." He told her. "I'm glad you are well, sister." He added before leaving his brother to continue spending time with his wife. The god of thunder was glad that Sigyn was back. His brother was the best version of himself when she was around. She had always pulled him away from the line that toed between good and bad. He supposed, while his brother's actions weren't justified in the slightest, if there was one reason that could be used to explain them it was the absence of Sigyn. Loki was never the same after she had died. Hopefully, now that she had returned, his brother would try to be a better man again.

He let JARVIS know to inform Stark of his whereabouts before returning to where he had left Ellie. He smiled at her as he approached. He could tell that she was still worried, and he hoped that they would be able to find her father soon enough to put her mind at ease. "My brother's wife wished for me to tell you that she looks forward to meeting you." He told her. "It looks as though she will recover with ease. We should be returning to Asgard tomorrow." He knew that his father would want his brother out of Midgard as soon as possible. Once Sigyn was able to leave, they would. "Let us go look for your father now though. We can discuss my leave later on."

“There’s so much to catch up on,” Loki told his wife wishing there wasn’t quite so much. But well a lot had happened in the years she’d been gone which was to be expected honestly. It wasn’t like the world stopped moving when someone died. “I just need to figure out where to start exactly,” he told her knowing fully well that he would tell her all about him being adopted and actually being a frost giant. He would of course have to tell her about how he’d had tired to end them all together, which had in turn led to Thor being banished for a bit and um almost dying. But in Loki’s defense Thor did have the tendency to be way to hot headed and sometimes he didn’t listen to reason. Which Loki knew his brother had gotten better since the events in New Mexico but still, at the time Thor truly had been a little arrogant.
Ellie smiled at Thor when he returned. “I look forward to meeting her as well. And your brother under better circumstances. Also I’m glad she’s clearly okay.” She told him happy that his brother wasn’t going to have to deal with losing his wife again. “Oh, you’ll be returning that soon?” She questioned shocked that they’d be going back when they’d only just arrived she felt like. But it did make sense, after all his brother did have to be put to justice for what he’d done and it made sense to get it over with. Plus if Sigyn was better or at least we’ll enough to travel then they might as well. “Do you think I could go with you when you return? I mean I know it’s not under the best circumstances, and we did just meet so some might think it was too soon. But what better time to get know you than the present, and by going to where you live,” she asked him wanting desperately to get to know him better more and more with each passing moment. And even though she didn’t want to be overwhelmed, and end up scared or anything silly, she wanted to go.

"We were apart for a very long time." Sigyn said. She wished that they hadn't been apart for as long as they had been, but she was glad that they were together once more. She knew that things weren't exactly going to be normal once they returned to Asgard, but she was just glad to be returning home with her beloved, regardless of the fact that things would likely be difficult for quite a while. "Start wherever you think is best, my love." She wondered if there was a reason why he was unsure of where to start. She knew that it had been a few centuries since they were last together, but she couldn't help wondering just what had happened while they were apart.
"I'm relieved that she is doing well. Last time my brother lost her...let's just say he wasn't always someone he invaded other realms." Thor told her. He really did hope that Sigyn's return would mean that his brother would do his best to change his ways. He knew that Sigyn, while she had always been loyal to his brother, wouldn't hesitate to tell him off if he were to attempt one of these schemes yet again. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if she had already told his brother off or at least told him she wasn't pleased with what he had attempted here in New York. "Yes, unfortunately my father will want to bestow my brother's punishment upon him as soon as possible." He would like to give his brother and Sigyn more time together before Loki was likely imprisoned in some way, but he knew that they would not be able to delay their return to Asgard very long if at all. He was surprised when she asked if she could return to Asgard with him, but that didn't mean he was not pleased to know that she wanted to. "Of course! As you said, the circumstances are not great, but if you would like to go with me, I do not mind at all." He grinned.

Loki let out a soft sigh before sitting back and running his fingers through his hair. “Okay, well I was doing pretty well I’d say anyways. Until Odin decided that Thor was the one who would take the throne and it just kind of set me off. I mean I’ve always known he’d take over one day and it makes sense for him to. He’s the first born and all. Well I kind of came up with a plot to steal the throne. I purposely let a couple of frost giants into Asgard knowing they wouldn’t make it so Thor would get upset so our father would see that he isn’t level headed enough to be king. It worked. And father banished him here to earth. Not here in New York but somewhere called New Mexico. Well in that time I found out that I was adopted as a baby and my birth father was, is, Laufey.” Loki told her already mad at himself for the way he’d acted the last few months just from reminding himself of what he’d done.

“Well as I’m sure you can figure out, I didn’t exactly take that news well. And the father went into a coma. Thor was still banished, and I took over the kingdom. Well my plan from there was to have a few of the frost giants invade quietly and let them think they were going to kill father only to save his life and prove I was worthy of the throne. And I’m just as worth to be king as Thor. Of course I got a little caught up in the whole thing and kind of sent the destroyer to earth to kill Thor. And it kind of worked, but in the process he proved himself worthy of his hammer again and was no longer mortal so he ya know didn’t stay dead. And then we fought one another and may have destroyed the bifrost. Then of course everything that’s happened recently was kind of out of anger over the last few months.” Loki told her knowing fully well that it was a lot of information to get at one time. And she may have questions for him which he’d answer. She’d probably also be very upset with him for who knew how long. But in all honesty Loki would rather have her alive and mad at him that have her dead again.
Ellie was kind of glad that Loki was going to have some form of punishment for invading earth and letting those aliens just go rampant in the city, but she also did feel kind of bad for him. Even though she didn’t know even half of the story of what turned him into the person who invades other worlds. “Well at least he has her back now. So hopefully he’ll be a better person again,” she said assuming that’s what everyone else wanted. She smiled at him when he told her he’d take her with him. She truly didn’t know how normal any of these feelings were given that she’d never actually been in love or thought she’d meet her soulmate. But she assumed they were.

“What should I bring with me?” Ellie asked realizing then that she wasn’t sure how long they’d be there or what she’d need. Again, she didn’t know much about Thor, his family, or his world. It was all brand new to her, and while she knew she wasn’t going to probably just fit right in right away she would like to be somewhat comfortable. Oh was she excited and nervous now.

Sigyn had a feeling she wasn't going to like what her husband was about to tell her just based off of how his behavior. What had been up to since she had died? Was this not the first time in which he had acted this way? How much had he changed since she died? He often got into mischief, but his actions had always been harmless. After all, he was the God of Mischief. But what he did today, that wasn't the man her husband had been. That wasn't the man she fell in love with. Yes, he had rushed to her side the moment she got hurt, and yes, he had called off the invasion and surrendered to the Avengers, but if she hadn't gotten hurt would he have continued? She couldn't really say. She liked to think that he would have, but she didn't know, and that honestly scared her a little bit and definitely worried her.

She listened as he explained everything to her. As he continued on, she felt her stomach sink. The things he was telling her that he had done, they weren't things that he ever would have done back when she knew him. The things he had done weren't things that the man she had agreed to marry would have done. She chose to focus on the first part of what he'd said first. "You're Laufey's son?" She asked him quietly. She wasn't disgusted or afraid of him because he wasn't Aesir as she had always thought him to be. No, she could care less about that. She was just shocked to discover that her husband was a frost giant. "I suppose that explains why I always complained about your hands being cold." She mustered a small smile before turning serious once more. "I'm not pleased to hear that you did all of those things while I was gone, Loki. Honestly, I really don't know what to say. That doesn't sound like the man I married at all."
Thor knew that his brother deserved whatever punishment Odin chose to bestow upon him. He knew that Loki's actions were inexcusable, and would likely be viewed as treasonous, but he did not wish the hardships that would likely come with the punishment for his brother and Sigyn. He still cared and loved his brother despite everything that he did, and he still loved Sigyn like a sister, and he could only imagine how difficult this all was likely going to be for both of them. "That's what I am hoping will happen." He smiled. "Sigyn always brought the best out in my brother, and if his later actions today are any indication of his future actions, I do believe he will no longer remain on the path of vengeance." He hoped that would be the case anyway.

"You need not worry about bringing too much with you. I am sure that you will find much of what you need at the palace." The god of thunder told her. "If there is anything that you feel you would like to bring with you, you can bring those items with you." He was honestly quite eager to get back to Asgard now. Although he really did not wish to see his brother imprisoned, he was looking forward to showing Ellie the realm he had grown up in. He knew that Frigga likely foresaw him returning with his soulmate, and she would likely be eager to meet her. "I will have some matters to attend to once we arrive, but I am sure Lady Sigyn or Lady Sif, one of my great friends and the fiercest warriors of Asgard, will show you around the palace until I am able to do so myself."

Loki felt good about getting everything out into the open with Sigyn. He knew that it would be best to just tell her everything now rather than return to Asgard and have her find out some other way by someone else. And he wasn't at all surprised that she didn't know how to respond, or that she was upset with him because it had been exactly what he was expecting. He wouldn't know what to do either if the role were reversed. Loki did nod his head when she mentioned him being Laufey's son, and he couldn't help but chuckle softly when she made a joke about him always having cold hands. "It does explain why I'm always so cold," he told her remembering when they were first married how often she would complain about his hands being freezing, and they could never figure out why.

"I know love," Loki said with what felt like his millionth sigh of the day. "I'm not telling you these things because I'm proud of what I've done, or how I've been acting recently. And I'm not telling you because I want you to feel bad or anything like that. I'm telling you because I feel like you need to know what I've done and you need to hear it from me. I don't want us to return home and you get a skewed version of what happened. Though I would fully understand if we returned home and you no longer wanted to be with me, or even if you needed space. Because some of the things I've done some people may see as unforgivable. But I promise that I will do whatever it takes to make things right and to keep myself off this awful path," he told her not sure what was to come for them, but willing to deal with it, and in a more healthy and less violent way.
Ellie hoped Thor was right and that Sigyn could indeed help keep Loki on a better path than he was on. "I find it very admirable of Sigyn to stick with Loki through all of this, assuming that she does. Because it's hard to forgive people sometimes, and I think loved ones are the hardest to forgive. But I mean they're married and that means sticking by each other through thick and thin and a lot of people can't seem to make it through the rough patches together. Which is in my opinion when you need one another most. So it's just nice that they actually take their vows seriously and will do whatever they can to make it work out," Ellie told Thor silently wishing her parents had been able to do that, or just most people, in general, understood that nowadays. But any more people weren't willing to fully commit to one another, and someone was going to run the second things got tough.

"Okay, so I should only bring things I feel like bringing," Ellie said racking her brain to think of what that would be. "Well I'll need to return home and pack a small bag, oh and I should probably tell someone where I'm going. Or at least that I'm going to be out of reach for a little while," she said realizing how weird it would be for her to just go to another planet and not tell anyone. And she knew that it wasn't likely business would be booming anytime soon given the events, and the fact that they'd likely have to rebuild or at least do some kind of damage control, but she'd still take care of that too. "That sounds like fun, getting to walk around the palace with your friends," she said hoping they would like her.

Sigyn really didn't know how to feel right now. She wasn't concerned so much about her husband being Laufey's son, that really didn't matter to her at all. Sure, frost giants were the monsters in the stories told to scare Aesir children before they went to bed, but Sigyn knew her husband. Prior to his more recent actions, there wasn't a single thing that was monstrous about him. She didn't know if he was simply acting the way that he was because he believed that he had to with whose son he was, but she hoped that he wouldn't any longer. She knew that trying to change someone wasn't necessarily the most conventional thing to do, but she did hope that her husband would begin to act more like the man she loved and less like the one responsible for major destruction to major Midgardian cities.

"I would hope that you weren't proud of any of it." She said, frowning slightly. "Thank you for telling me. I don't think I can ever really understand why you did any of those things, Loki, but that does not mean that I want us to part ways once we return to Asgard." That was the last thing that she wanted to do actually. "When I married you I made a promise to you, and it is one that I intend on keeping. All I ask is that you try your hardest not to be the person that you became during my absence. Your actions later today prove that you're still the man that I fell in love with all those years ago."
"Sigyn has always been an extremely loyal person. It's one of her best qualities." Thor told her. His brother's wife had always been loyal to Loki, but she had also always been an extremely loyal friend to him. "I think that might be why they are being given a second chance. Someone on Valhalla believed they were worthy of second opportunity at life together despite my brother's more recent actions." He hoped that his brother realized that wasn't something that was common. The god of thunder honestly didn't think he had ever heard of it happening, so he hoped that Loki wouldn't take the situation lightly and that he realized he likely would never be given another opportunity like that. If his brother's more recent actions today were any proof of that, he already was though.

"We can do that today if you would like to. I do not think we will be departing until some point tomorrow, but if it would put your mind at ease you can get all of that sorted today." Thor said. He still couldn't believe that she already wished to return to Asgard with him. She had seemed slightly overwhelmed earlier when he was telling her everything, but it seemed as though that had worn off some. "Like I said moments ago, Sigyn looks forward to meeting you." He told her with a smile. Sigyn had heard him talk countless times about his soulmate over the course of the centuries. She was also one of the people who reassured him that he would find Ellie when the time was right. And he had. Just as they all had said. "You'll be welcome to stay as long as you would like, however, if you would prefer to stay only for a short while that is fine too."

"Of course. I've always told you everything because I love you more than I love mischief and secrets," Loki told Sigyn knowing fully well that he may have a hard time telling her things sometimes, but he would still tell her. Loki may have an internal battle with himself on if she really needed to know, or on how she'd react, or even on if he felt she would or should stay with him afterward, but in the end, he would always tell her everything. Loki told her everything because he did indeed love her, and although Odin and Frigga weren't his birth parents they had raised him, and they'd taught both him and Thor what love looked like, or at least what it should look like. Frigga used to tell him stories about love and how a man should treat his beloved and not keep things from her. After all, once you are married you've made a vow to one another, and given he is technically a prince, they were married in front of all of Asgard so breaking their vow wouldn't have been easy if that were to happen, which he had high hopes it would never come to that. Especially now that they were being given a second chance, and he knew this rarely ever happened.

Loki nodded his head planning on doing exactly what she'd asked, trying his hardest to go back to being the man he was before he'd lost her the first time. He knew that it was going to be a bit of a struggle, just like he knew there were going to be plenty of things that would stand in his way. There would be things that would try and pull him back down the dark path he was trying hard to step off of. But he knew that in all of this he had to be stronger than ever before because failing was not an option. Not when it could mean losing his wife again and possibly in more ways than one. He could only imagine how hard it would be to stay on the right path if she left him then died. Loki wasn't sure he'd ever recover from something like that, but he was going to push that thought from his mind because he wouldn't let that happen.
"Loyalty is a good quality to have. Anyways, how are we getting to Brooklyn exactly or a better question would be, do you have any tips on um finding one specific person in a city that's still a bit chaotic?" Ellie asked wondering how easy it was actually going to be to find her dad, after all, she wasn't some master at finding people in crowds mostly because well she wasn't exactly tall enough to see over people usually. That was one reason she loved her friends so much, they were all much taller than her and made it a habit of making sure someone was always holding onto her in some way or another so she didn't get lost when they went to events with large crowds, and she very much appreciated it.

"Ellie sweetie!? Oh, thank God you're okay," Ellie heard in a familiar voice seconds before she was being hugged tighter than her dad had ever hugged her. She didn't fight it though. She simply hugged her father back feeling totally comforted by the fact that he was indeed okay and knowing she didn't have to worry about it anymore. After a few moments of just hugging him though she did finally pull away. "How did you find me?" She finally asked wondering how on earth he'd found her inside Stark tower given that she and Thor hadn't made it out the door yet. "I was helping someone out on the street when I happened to hear someone mention your name not too far away from me. So I finished helping her then made it my business to figure out what they knew about you and where I could find you because you were my daughter. And why by the way have you never told me that you knew Tony Stark I mean think of what that could do for the company? Anyways, he flew me in here and made me get medical attention because I may have hit my head and been bleeding a little but it's nothing to worry about, just a mild concussion. Then the Dr's released me and told me where I could find you. So you're okay right?"

Sigyn mustered a small smile. "And I love you more than anything in all nine realms." She said. "But I am concerned about this path you've started down." She was glad that he had told her everything that he had gotten himself into, she didn't know what conclusions she might have jumped to had she heard any of what he told her from someone else in Asgard, but she honestly was worried now. Attempting to take over and rule Midgard was one thing, but it wasn't the first action he took towards this dark path. No, this was only the most recent event. "I don't intend on leaving you once we return to Asgard. Your actions do concern me, but I will not leave you. I made a promise when I married you, and I intend on keeping it." She couldn't help thinking that she had been brought back for a reason. She was meant to help pull him off the dark path he had started down.
"It is." Thor nodded. He knew that some people might mistake Sigyn's loyalty for foolishness, or they might think that she agreed with Loki's actions and found them justifiable, but anyone who knew his brother's wife knew that was not the case. Sigyn had been very popular with the Asgardian people, and he wouldn't be at all surprised if that still held true once they returned. The god of thunder was about to make a suggestion as to what their best option was in searching for her father, however, someone was calling Ellie's name before they could even walk out of the tower. He watched as an older man approached and embraced the brunette, clearly relieved to see that she was okay. It wasn't hard to put two and two together and realize that this was Ellie's father. "Your daughter fought off many of the beasts valiantly, sir." He cut in before she could answer her father's question. "She would have put any of the fiercest warriors on Asgard to shame."

[ would you be willing to skip forward a bit. On both parts to them heading to Asgard? tehe ]
Ellie felt herself start to blush when Thor began telling her dad about how she’d fought as a brave warrior. “I’m not surprised that you found yourself in the battle, you have always been brave. And clearly this gentleman can see that too. But if I may here, who are you exactly? And Asgard? That’s a real place? Because I’ve never heard of it and I’d hate for Ellie to get hurt,” He asked Thor wondering what his daughter was doing at the moment. Clearly this man was real and his daughter had taken some kind of fondness towards him. But he simply wanted to make sure that she knew what she was doing. He was a father after all, and she was his only child so protecting her was always his number one priority. “Dad,” Ellie finally said biting her lip. “Believe me when I say that I’m fine, I’m going to Asgard with Thor tomorrow, and that no one is going to let any harm come to me. Plus I’m grown and am fully capable of controlling my own life,”

[I don't mind at all Cute]

"You'll love it, Ellie." Sigyn told the brunette. A day or so had passed since her husband had surrendered to the Avengers. Once Tony's medical staff deemed her well on the way to recovery and in decent enough condition to leave the tower, it was finally time to return home to Asgard. Her husband had magicked her her gown shortly before he was cuffed and a muzzle of sorts was placed over his mouth. She was assured that it was only precautionary, but she still didn't exactly like the idea of it. The gown she wore was a near exact replica of the one she had always said was her favorite. She honestly wasn't surprised that Loki remembered that, her husband had always paid close attention to details like that. It meant a great deal that he still remembered such a minute detail after such a long time. She knew that things were going to be difficult once they arrived back in Asgard. She refused to have any doubts in them getting through any of it though. Their marriage had survived death, they could survive this as well. Nevertheless, she was trying her best to distract herself from the inevitable for the time being by talking to Thor's soulmate about Asgard. "You must let me show you around the palace once we arrive and you have been introduced to Frigga and Odin."
Thor didn't want to cuff and muzzle his brother. He knew if he just let him waltz into Asgard without any indication that he was being punished that it wouldn't look good. He didn't know what punishment Odin was going to bestow upon his brother, but he knew that the common people would likely question whether or not the younger prince was being punished at all if they didn't make it visibly known that he was. He knew that, despite Sigyn believing Loki deserved punishment for his actions, that she did not like seeing her husband that way. The god of thunder didn't blame her, he didn't like it either, but appearances needed to be kept up. After conversing briefly with the other Avengers and saying his goodbyes, he returned to his brother and the girls. "If we're all ready to go, I believe it is time to return home." He said before raising his hammer and calling to Heimdall to open the Bifrost for them.

Ellie smiled towards Sigyn both excited to embark on this journey to Asgard, and nervous. After all, she was about to go to another world she still knew little about, and she was going to meet Thor's parents who were the king and queen. Which thinking about meeting the king and queen knowing that one day she and Thor would apparently be king and queen was, well to say the least nerve-wracking. Ellie was also excited though because this was something new, something she'd never experienced before. It was a chance of pace, and she hoped it was going to bring her happiness. And of course she knew that there were going to be hard times to come because well relationships always hit rocky spots, but she had hope that they'd be able to work things out. Especially if they were soulmates and all. "That sounds like an amazing idea," Ellie finally told Sigyn also pretty excited to see a real palace and get to dress like a real princess. "And I'm sure I will love it. You know I've never actually been to a real palace before so this is actually super exciting,"
Loki knew that Thor had to cuff him and then muzzle him so when they returned to Asgard everyone would see that he was indeed being punished for his actions rather than being let off the hook simply because he was a prince. And he hated, he knew that Sigyn hated it, hell even Thor probably hated this, but once again, Loki was going to do what he had to in order to make things right. He planned to accept his punishment and 'learn his lesson'. And he knew it was going to be a tough road and he had a lot of shit he'd have to go through before things were fully better, so before he was let loose to actually roam the city and be with his wife fully again. But in the end all of this would be well worth it because in the end he'd be with Sigyn again, and she'd see that he was still the man she fell in love with and married, he'd just simply gotten a little lost.

"It's absolutely beautiful! The city is as well. You're going to love it." Sigyn said with a smile. She was glad that Thor had matters to attend to once they arrived and he had asked her to keep Ellie company for the time being. It gave her a welcomed distraction from her husband's punishment. She only hoped that she would be allowed to visit Loki no matter what his punishment was. After all, they had only just found each other again. She didn't want to not be able to see him for an extended period of time. She had already spent more time than she cared to think about without seeing him. "I'm ready to return home." She said when Thor returned to them. Although she wished it were under better circumstances, she was glad to be returning to Asgard. Midgard had become home to her as well, but Asgard would always be her true home.
"Asgard has missed you, sister." Thor told Sigyn before looking to Ellie. "If Lady Sigyn has her way, it sounds as though I won't be seeing very much of you for a while." He chuckled. Soon enough though they were traveling along the Bifrost, and very little was said until they arrived at their destination. "It's good to see you, Heimdall." He said with a smile. The guard of the Bifrost bridge was someone the god of thunder considered a friend. "As it is to see you, your highness." Heimdall said before smiling to Sigyn. "Welcome back, Lady Sigyn. You have been missed." Thor stole a glance over to his brother's wife and saw a smile on her face as well. "Thank you, Heimdall. It is good to be back, I have missed Asgard." She said before Thor provided introductions for Ellie. "This is Heimdall, he guards the Bifrost. Heimdall, this is Lady Ellie. She is my soulmate." He couldn't help the grin that lit up his features. He still couldn't believe he had finally found her.

"Well I do love beautiful things, so that's exciting," Ellie said letting her nerves about the future melt away with happy thoughts of the present. She found herself only slightly freaked out and only for a brief moment when they were sucked into the Bifrost and transported through space, and probably only because she'd never experienced it before. Ellie couldn't help but smile right back at Thor when he introduced her to the first person on Asgard. "It's nice to meet you, Heimdall," she said not really sure what else she should say, and it was nice to meet someone already. Though she did wonder if that was all he was guard the Bifrost or if there was more to the job, which made her wonder how he did things like sleep or eat, which then made her wonder how things worked here on Asgard. Though she'd find out soon enough given that she was here to stay for the time being.
[ I don't actually know what to do with Loki right now... So I'm just going to leave him out for the time being... Shifty ]

"The pleasure is mine, Lady Ellie." The guard of the Bifrost said. There were very few people close to the royal family who did not know about Thor's longing to meet his soulmate. It started shortly after the god of thunder asked Frigga what his soulmark was and who the person who's name was on his arm. From there on out, there were very few days when his soulmate was not on his mind. And now he had found her, and all of the people he had spoken about her to would get to meet the woman who had captivated one of the princes of Asgard's minds for centuries now.

"Welcome to Asgard, Ellie." Sigyn said with a smile as they arrived outside of the palace. She stole a glance over to her husband, still wishing that the cuffs and muzzle weren't necessary. She wished that they had been reunited under different circumstances, although she was just glad that they had found each other and that they had a second chance together at all. "Do you think your mother and father will want to see her now or should I show her around the palace while you handle other matters?" She knew that Odin would likely want to discuss Loki's punishment now. Introductions with Ellie would likely be extremely welcomed afterwards.

"Odin will likely wish to see Loki and I right now." Thor told Sigyn before looking to Ellie. "I shouldn't be occupied more than a few hours this morning. You are in extremely good hands with Lady Sigyn showing you the palace."

Ellie tucked her hair behind her hair and smiled at, Heimdall, then Sigyn, then Thor. "I have no doubts that I am," Ellie told Thor wishing she could spend time with him right away, but she knew she couldn't. After all, Thor had business to attend to with his brother and all and well she shouldn't be there. One day it might be something she'd attend, but nothing yet. "Good luck with Loki and all," Ellie told Thor gently placing her hand on his arm and making a bold move by kissing his cheek, which given how short she was it was a little difficult, but oh well. It had just kind of come over her and she was actually kind of glad to finally make a move.

"So Sigyn should we be off to exploring?" Ellie asked the fellow brunette ready to explore the beautiful place with new friends. "Oh, should I change before we go? Or before I met his parents? Because I kind of feel like I stick out like a sore thumb," Ellie said wondering if the way she was dressed would be a big deal. She would totally understand if it did after all this wasn't earth and the way people dressed here was totally different. Ellie also wouldn't care because any excuse to get new clothes, especially nice dresses that would make her look like a princess, was totally okay with her.

Sigyn nodded. "I will show her around the palace until you have sorted all matters out with your father." She said. She would rather have a task to keep her occupied than think about her husband and the punishment he was about to be given. She hated that they hardly had any time together before it was bestowed upon him. She wished that they had more time, but she knew Odin, and she knew that he would likely want Loki to start his punishment right away. She hoped that she would still be able to visit him regardless of what it was. She hated thinking that she wouldn't be able to see her husband at all. She cast a look in Thor's direction who simply nodded in understanding and removed her husband's cuffs and the muzzle. She quickly wrapped her arms around him, resting her head against his chest. "I love you." She murmured, pulling back slightly to press a quick kiss to the lips. "You're going to be fine." She assured him, resting a hand lightly against his cheek for a brief moment before pulling back and turning to Ellie. "Let's go find something for you to wear and then I'll show you around the palace." She said, mustering a small smile.
"Thank you, sister." Thor said to which he simply earned a shake of her head from the brunette as if to say that it was no trouble at all. He had a feeling that Ellie and Sigyn were going to be great friends. He also knew that Sigyn was welcoming the opportunity to show the other brunette around the palace for two reasons: one, she wanted to, and two, it was a welcomed distraction from what was inevitably happening today. When he saw the look his brother's wife was giving him, he nodded and removed the cuffs and muzzle his brother wore. He stepped back and off to the side a bit to give the two a moment of privacy and looked to Ellie, somewhat taken aback when she pressed her lips to his cheek. He smiled. "Thank you." He said. "I hope you enjoy exploring the palace with Sigyn." He told her.
