Lily let out a deep sigh, flattening the skirt of her dress. The burgundy tight fitted dress was hugging her body nicely, it brought her hair to life as well. She was standing outside the huge office building, a cigarette hanging from her lips. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes briefly before dropping the cigarette to the ground, she quickly stepped on it with her foot. She quickly entered the building, walking past the people who were working there. Nodding from time to time to the ones that bothered to greet her. She was fiddling nervously with her small purse as she stepped into an elevator, pressed the top floor and waited as the elevator moved upwards.
She had been called in to have an interview as an elevator girl, she had been a bit confused as to what that would involve. But the pay had convinced her to at least go in for an interview. She lightly tapped her heeled foot, getting a bit impatient. The elevator doors finally opened and she stepped out. She easily located the room where she would have the interview, she knocked three times before stepping back. She fixed her hair quickly and cleared her throat, whispering a greeting to herself over and over again.
She had been struggling for the last two years. Work never seemed to be in her favor, and often she had gotten tired of it. Mostly cause the pay wasn't worth it, and she wasn't challenged enough to keep her interest. She was still working on her law degree, but when her father fell sick she decided not to rely on him for her tuition. So she started looking for a better paying job. Then this appeared and she took the chance of applying, luckily she landed an interview rather quickly which she was grateful for. Her mind was wandering, so she didn't notice as the door handle was pushed down.

Frank entered the busy hallways. He was clearly stressed, so people moved out of the way for him. He walked towards the big conference room and pushed the doors open. The room fell quiet when he entered. It was being filled with tables and in the far back a scene was being set up. People went back to their business as Frank walked through the room and into a back room going over some papers and the guest list. He was doing a charity event, for his work in Africa. It was his first big event after returning to the office, so he wanted it perfect. He was supposed to finally introduce his water purifying device. He was excited but oh so stressed. It was important for him, and it was important that it went well.
He walked out of the back room as his phone started to vibrate in his pocket. He sighed as he pulled it up to look at the screen. There was a message from Ryan. The event assistant had been fired, but apparently, he had found a replacement. He pinched the bridge of his nose. He quickly dialed Ryan, ''Send her up to the conference room, I need her here now.'' He didn't let him answer as he hung up, he didn't have time to wait for an answer, he trusted Ryan enough that he would do as he said, even when it was short notice. He barked at some people who were just standing there, doing nothing.
He desperately needed someone who could put things in order and manage to put together a great and interesting event party. The previous planner had already done a decent job at putting down a foundation for the event, but it was still far from done, and there wasn't much time left.
