Makenna shook her head, "No I was just bored." She said, looking around his room. She looked at the stuff on his dresser, feeling him staring at her. "If i was going to steal something I already would have." She said, smiling. She sat on his bed, "What were you doing?" She asked.

Alex set it on his dresser, "Don't lose it." He muttered. He laid on his bed, looking back at the tv. "Now shush." He said, hugging his pillow to himself, his cheek resting on it as he stared at the tv.

Raine shrugged and said, "Alright." He told her before sitting back down. He watched her look around and laughed, "I'm not worried about that." He assured her. "Trying to get my neck to chill out." He told her sighing. "It hurts a lot. Mostly, I can just deal with it." He said shrugging leaning against the wall as he watched her.

Claire watched as he set it on his dresser and sighed again. "Thank you." She murmured. She watched him for a moment, not ignoring the fact that he had said hush instead of shut up. She smiled before hiding it and looking up at the ceiling again and closing her eyes, exhausted from worrying, from fear, panic, etc. She couldn't fall asleep with the chair hitting into her neck.

Makenna thought for a moment, "Well come sit." She said. She watched as he sat down, then moved behind him. She began to rub his neck, feeling him relax underneath her touch. She felt how warm his skin was as she worked out the kink in his neck. She pulled away after a bit, "Feel better?" She asked.

Alex ended up falling asleep in the bed. He woke up when he head a loud crash out in the bar area. He figured it was just someone fighting again. He looked over, seeing Claire, watching him. "What?" He asked.

Raine hesitated for a moment before pushing himself off the wall and walking over to the bed. He sat down and felt her hands on his neck, causing the hair on the back of his neck to stand up for a moment before he relaxed feeling her start to rub his neck. He laughed before rolling his neck around and felt it crack several times and said, "Yeah, thanks. I don't usually let people touch me." He told her looking at her for a moment. "I'm not quite sure why I let you." He murmured while he looked at her.

Claire was focusing on different things to look at and had ended up looking at Alex for a moment blinking seeing that he was awake and shrugged. "You're nicer than you look." She then sighed as she winced once more, just wanting to be home and take a shower and sleep most of all. She had completely forgotten that she hadn't eaten in a very long time.

Makenna smiled as she let her hands move over his neck, "That's because i'm fabulous." She said, laughing softly. She was glad that he actually liked her. She didn't have anywhere to go, but luckily Raine had offered to help her out.

Alex glared at her, "Why do you think that?" He asked. Alex laid there, then closed his eyes again. "You don't know anything about me." He muttered. He wasn't a good person and he knew that.

Raine laughed his body shaking as he did so and shook his head just relaxing against her hands closing his eyes as he did so. "I don't know if that quite the word I would use." He teased a small smirk on his face as he did so. He felt her stop and lifted his broad shoulders stretching them before twisting his neck to the side feeling it release a loud crack and sighed before just rolling it around his shoulders. He turned to face her and said, "Thanks."

Claire couldn't help the laugh that came from her lips and said, "Doesn't matter." She shrugged. He was funny when he wasn't being an asshole. She turned back to look out the window sighing just wanting to be untied and lay down. She felt like her own neck was going to fall off. She closed her eyes for a moment before feeling then flutter open frowning as she heard a weird noise. "What is that?" She whispered eyes flitting to the doorway.

Makenna smiled as he looked at her, "You're welcome." She said. She placed her hand on his cheek, "Why is it that you don't like people?" She asked. She knew why she didn't like people. Most of the people she had met had taught her not to trust people. She let her thumb run over his cheek bone. He was really a gorgeous guy. She leaned in and kissed him softly.

Alex looked at the door, "I really don't know." He said. He got up, grabbing his gun off the table. He opened the door, seeing one of the guys from the gang staggering down the hallway. He rolled his eyes and came back into the room. He shut the door, "Just Jake. He's wasted." He said. He set his gun back down then climbed back into the bed. He rested his head on his pillow, staring at the wall.

Raine was surprised when he felt her hand on his face before turning his eyes to meet hers mulling over the question before replying. "People lie." He murmured simply. He met her eyes with the same intensity he had held the entire time. "People are false creatures meant to sin." His eyes caught the light before he felt her kiss her and kissed her back bringing her closer slightly as he did so.

Claire was really starting to get tired of this place. She watched him leave before raising an eyebrow as he re-entered the room. Rolling her eyes she muttered, "Of course." She sighed before managing to twist one of her arms out of the ropes. She sighed before getting the other out of them and throwing the rope off. She grabbed the piece of paper and pencil before sitting down in a corner grabbing a binder to hold the paper up. She then sighed, "Finally." She slowly started to sketch. Flipping hair out of her face, she looked over at Alex.

Makenna moved closer to him as she kissed him. He was exactly right about how people were. She felt the same way. She wanted to trust Raine, but she wasn't sure if she could completely do that. She pulled away from him slowly, looking into his eyes.

Alex frowned, "What the fuck?" He said, getting up. "Get back in your fucking chair." He said, moving over to her. He frowned when she looked at him, "Let me put it this way, do what i say or I will send you out there with all of the drunks." he said, glaring at her.

Raine kissed her back his jaw moving as he did so. He felt her pull away and looked at her for a moment before murmuring, "What was that for?" He gave a small smile not knowing if he should trust it or if she was just going to steal something from him. He ran a hand through his hair gently.

Claire looked up sighing hearing his word before asking, "I'm in a corner and the only exit is if I get up and hope i'm faster than you. I don't understand why I have to sit that in that fucking chair where my fucking back hurts and get fucking emotional because I've been FUCKING KIDNAPPED!" She snapped her fury coming out not understanding. She stood up with the sketch in her hand before she looked up at Alex feeling him too close to her for comfort. Her jaw was set as she did so. She was extremely hungry at the moment and her legs were trembling from lack of food or water.

Makenna smiled, "That was because I like kissing you." She said as she laid back on his bed. She watched him, "So, I gotta ask. How long before you make me leave?" She asked. She knew people were only nice for so long. After awhile they got tired of helping someone and wanted them gone.

Alex frowned as he looked down at her, "You really think you are in any position to be mouthy?" He asked as he pushed her back down where she had been previously sitting. If you try anything I will kill you." He said. He heard her stomach growl, "Are you hungry?" He asked.

Claire rolled her eyes and said, "Sorry to disappoint but I'm always in a position to be mouthy." She was fungry and wasn't in any mood to be in this situation. Hearing his question she sighed before saying, "Yeah, considering i haven't eaten in over a day. But you don't seem to care so." She turned around in the chair frowning crossing her arms over her chest. She knew she was probably pushing her luck but at this point she didn't care. Since Benjamin hadn't come for her yet, she doubted he even would at this point.

Raine looked up and laughed before saying, "Well, alright." He smiled before raising an eyebrow hearing her question. "Typically don't get tired of people if I show an interest in the first place." He told her. "How long until you leave?" He shot back at her, but not in an agressive way.

Alex frowned as he watched her, "It's no wonder your brother hasn't come for you. You are annoying as fuck." He said before walking out of the room. He locked it from the outside then went to her some food and a drink. He returned, setting the food in front of her. "I am going to assume you will be less moody once you stuff your face." he said before he sat down.

Makenna was surprised when he asked when she would be leaving, "I don't plan on leaving." She said. She liked where she was. She was finally with people who understood her. Raine was one of the only people she felt connected with in a long time.

Claire heard those words frowning when he shut the door and felt some tears fall shaking her head gently and just turned away when he set some things down for her to eat. "I didn't ask for this, so don't act like it's my fault I'm in this position." She told him before turning away making sure her hair was hiding her face as she felt some tears fall. She shook them away before starting to eat pulling her knees up to her chest as she did so. She just stayed quiet refusing to turn around and let him see her crying. The light gave away the sparkling tears as they landed on her clothes. She wanted a shower and fresh clothes.

Raine blinked and said, "I thought you were leaving. What changed?" He turned over to look her in the eyes tilting his head as he did so. He watched her face wanting to engrain her features into his brain. She was so beautiful and he was sure that she had no idea.

Alex watched her for a moment, seeing that she was crying. He wasn't good with emotions at all. He sighed as he laid back, messing with his phone. He knew he was being harsh, but that was really the only thing he knew how to do. He knew how to be mean and that was about it. Alex watched as she finished, "Need anything else?" He asked. He figured he could try to make her time less miserable.

Makenna watched him, "Eh, you are kind of fun to be around." She said. "Plus, this way I don't have to travel. It gets annoying sometimes." She said. She hated going different places. She liked this city even if it was kind of crappy and full of crime. That didn't bother her though. She dealt with that her whole life.

Claire wiped at her face again just nibbling at the food before slowly finishing it up and just sipped on her drink. Hearing his question, she mumbled, "A shower and fresh clothes if that's fine." She looked over knowing she had tear streaks down her face but she also needed to get this makeup off and just shower. She hoped he would let her considering she would be too preoccupied with trying to shower to escape.

Raine laughed and said, "Yeah because the docks were so fun." He teased. "Though, I still don't know why they thought that that would fly." He muttered. He looked up and chuckled. "I don't think i've ever traveled anywhere. Seems like a hassle though." He wrinkled his nose before laying down with his head in her lap and shut his eyes.

Alex nodded, "Alright." He said. He got up and walked over to the door in his room, opening it. He looked at the bathroom, "Go for it." He said. Alex knew that it would make her feel better if she got a good shower. He sat on the bed, "Don't try anything stupid." He warned her as she walked to the bathroom. Alex turned his attention back to the phone as he waited for her.

Makenna smiled as he rested his head in her lap, "It's okay sometimes. Some places are pretty neat." She said as she ran her fingers through his short hair. She looked down at him, "So, when did you join this gang?" She asked him. He seemed like he had lived this life for a long time. She let her fingers run down his arm as he laid there on her.

Claire blinked surprised by his kindness and stood up before mumbling a thank you. She shut the door seeing a wayy too big t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. She knew both were going to be far too big on her small frame but she would make it work. She turned the water on before getting into the shower havign stripped. Once in, she began to scrub her face allowing herself to cry a bit more before sighing as she finally let it all out and scrubbed off all of her makeup before washing her hair and stepping out. She dried herself off with a towel before pulling her bra and panties on. She pulled on his t-shirt almost giggling at the fact that it went to her knees and then pulled the pants on having to tie them extremely tight around her waist and folded up the leg parts to fit around her ankles. She dried her hair as much as she could before stepping out of the bathroom.

Raine nodded closing his eyes as he felt her fingers start to run through his hair. He chuckled at the question before saying, "Well, this one I joined three years ago. But I was in the gang life all throughout highschool." He admitted. Sighing, he shrugged gently. "Mom was a crackwhore dad was a deadbeat drunk that both beat me, so I got out. I'm good at what I do, so there is it." He told her. "What about you? When did you start to travel?" He questoined opening his soft brown eyes to look at her.

Alex looked up as she came out, "Feel better now? Are you going to let me sleep now?" He asked. He got ready for bed, then laid down. He pulled his blankets over himself, "Are you going to get some sleep?" He asked, tucking his arm behind his head. Alex couldn't believe he was being nice to Claire. He felt bad that she was being forced into this because her brother was a dick.

Makenna looked at him, "I ran away from my home when i was fourteen." She said. She watched him, "My mom was a drug addict that just kind of up and left one day and my dad was an abusive asshole." She said. She watched him, "I caught a bus to the nearest city then slowly worked my way back. I'm pretty sure he never even bothered looking for me." She said, shrugging. She knew what it was like to not be wanted or cared about. She let her fingers move through his hair again.

Claire blinked and said, "I never said I wouldn't let you sleep." She replied softly before shrugging. "I don't know. Probably not. I don't sleep well to begin with let alone in an odd place." She told him as she sat down on the floor. She pulled a blanket over her. "We'll see how it goes." She replied softly snuggling into his warm clothes. She honestly surprised that she now smelled like him. She had to give him this -- he smelled quite nice. Yawning, she leaned back against the dresser. "Night." She murmured softly knowing the deadline would be up by tomorrow for Benjamin.

Raine watched him gently and sighed before telling her, "Well, looks like we got the same shitty backstory. What a fucking world." He murmured the rest as he gently stroked her cheek before looking at the time and sighing. "I gotta get up early tomorrow and go back to the docks to see your favorite asshole." He teased laughing before he gently lifted himself up further onto the bed until he was right beside her and laid back down.
