Maria woke up a few hours later, he head absolutely pounding, and her vision was still a little blurry, but no longer from the drugs, just from the headache. She could think more clearly now and had most of the control of her body back. She got up from the bed, limping slightly, feeling weak and tired still. She looked out the window, seeing it was completely dark and she wondered how long she had been asleep.
She crept to the door, hearing talking from downstairs, and could smell some sort of food. Her heart was beating rapidly in her chest, and she wondered if it would be okay if she came out. She knew her and Audrey were as good as dead, but the boys were playing some kind of game with them and she didn't know how long it would go on for. Opening the door the rest of the way, she could see Zacky walking up the stairs in the dark and she immediately pressed her back against the wall to remain from being seen. She heard him open his bedroo door and the moment it was closed, she peered back out and stepped out into the hallway.
Tiptoeing down the stairs, trying to be quieter than a mouse, she peeked her head around the archway, looking into the kitchen. She could see Matt sitting at the table, leaning over a plate that smelled like chicken and broccoli casserole and Maria immediately felt how hungry she was. Biting down on her bottom lip, she took the risk and stepped out into the kitchen, looking more skiddish than a mouse. If Matt so happened to just bark at her, she was ready to turn on her heel and dart straight back up to the bedroom. She stared at him, looking over his pristine white shirt, and the sunglasses that hung from his collar, pulling his shirt down to reveal a bit more of his chest and the large tattoo that covered his skin.
"C-Can I please?" Maria whispered, just looking down at the food. She was so hungry, but so terrified to move at the same time.
Zacky had helped Matt in the kitchen, and though the casserole took absolutely no time to prepare, it did need to cook for a little while. "I'll let her have the scraps off my plate." He laughed, knowing both of the girls were both strong headed and fighters. The weaker he kept Audrey, the more he had her under his control. Matt and Zacky sat at the kitchen table and ate their plate of food after it had finished cooking, and the moment he was done, Zacky stood up and scooped not even half a spoon back into the bowl. He smirked and said goodnight to Matt as he headed back up the stairs.
He could hear Maria moving around in Matt's bedroom, and he had heard the door creak open, but he was sure she wasn't planning on running. She had seen where that had gotten her friend, and unless she wanted to be raped by the two of them, she would stay inside this house.
Ignoring her and opening his bedroom door, he flicked the lights on and shut the door behind him, clicking the lock into place. "I know you definitely must be starving now." He smiled, he had left her up here by herself for a few good hours.
He looked around, his eyebrows furrowing as he noticed how she had picked up his bedroom, the bed was spotlessly made and she was sitting quietly alone. "What a good girl." He smiled, holding the bowl off casserole out to her. "Maybe you can learn after all." He smirked.
