A little while later....

Chris was laying in the bed next to her. He had his arm draped over her waist, while his other hand was slowly running his fingers through her long hair. "Baby how is it that you're so perfect." He whispered, kissing the side of her head. He then held her close, having no intentions of getting up.

Ella was deep in thought they had been together for awhile now, give or take eight months and she was happy. They’ve had their disagreements and even his infidelity but Ella loves him so much.

Katie got dressed putting on a cute deep red dress with black heels. She then slipped back in the bathroom to apply her make up on. Once she was done, Katie looked to Jack.

Ella breathed heavily as she paced around the bedroom, Chris was at work and she was home freaking out. She stared hard at the pink line, sure she had taken a few tests that all had the same result but that didn’t mean anything right? She knew she had to tell Chris. Ella was so nervous she was trembling she sat down and breathed. Being pregnant wasn’t really something she has in mind at the moment and she had to wonder what Chris would say. “Hey baby, when will you be home?” She messaged him.

Chris had been in his office, looking over some of his student's works when he heard his phone go off. He smiled seeing it was Ella, the love of his life. When he read that she was asking when he was going to be home, Chris wondered if everything was okay. "I should be finishing up within the next hour." He responded.

Ella breathed softly as she waited for Chris, she wondered if he missed that slut of an assistant. He had let her go and hired a male assistant. Ella bit her lip waiting for Chris, as she waited she walked to the bathroom and raised her color dress up to reveal a very small bump. It was too noticeable it just looked like she put on a few pounds but she knew. “Oh god” she fixed her dress and looked up when she heard the door knob then.

I am so sorry for not responding. I thought I wrote to this. My bad.

When Chris finished with work, he was more than ready to go home. He was ready to see his darling and spend the evening with her. Things had seem a little different on her, but he didn't read too much into it. As soon as he arrived home, Chris opened the door. 'Babe." He said with a sweet smile. "I'm home." He said, looking for her.

Ella swallowed hard and pushed her thoughts aside and went to greet her boyfriend. Smiling softly “hey, how was work?” She asked walking towards him and hugged him. Feeling a pit in the bottom of her stomach wondering how he was going to take the news.

Jack smirked and kissed Katie back “you can do whatever you want to do to me baby.” He nodded. “Let’s go then, it’s going to be a fun night in the town.” Jack nodded again”unless you want to take a cab..”

Chris looked over Ella as she moved closer to him. He allowed his arms to wrap around her, hugging her tightly. He felt like something was off about Ella, but he wasn't going to push it. He just continued to hug her, taking in this moment between the two of them. "Work was good." He said before kissing her on the top of the head. Looking down to her, Chris couldn't help but smile. "And how about you? How was your day?"

Katie couldn't help but smile as her lips parted away from Jack's. Yet again, she felt like this was the right decision and nothing was stopping her from enjoying this. When Jack suggested taking a cab, Katie allowed her mind to be a little curious as to what they would be doing, or could be doing, that would cause them to potentially take a cab. "I am okay with whatever."

Ella looked up with a small smiled, “that’s good, I’ve been good mostly, just being productive I suppose. “ she wanted to tell him but didn’t know how. She pulled him into the living room, “so I’m making us dinner, steak and some pasta.” She sat down, “so I’m, let me ask you something .. would you ever have kids?”

Jack smiled, “I mean we couldn’t just drive but I was planning on drinking” he chuckled. His arm wrapped around her as he kissed her head. “I’ve had such a wonderful time with you.”

Chris followed Ella into the Living Room, waiting her every move. He could feel like something was going on, but he wasn't quite sure what it could be. Sitting down on the couch, he kept looking to her, raising an eyebrow when she asked her question. It didn't startle him though. He just put a small smile on his face. "Yeah, I would love to have kids."
