Smirking, Walt grinned at her. "Well I am glad you said it. You saved me from all of the hassle of saying it myself." Walt told her grinning as he looked at her. "I'd like that very much." Walt admitted staring at Vic.

Vic couldn't help but blush. She was in still shock that she said what she said to him. "Well...I'm glad that I could..." She blushed a little more. "Would you really like that?" She asked softly, finally looking up to him once more.

Branch smiled at her words, "And I love you, Cady Longmire." He whispered in a soft toned voice. He winked to her, slowly letting go of her hand. "So what else do you want to do today?" He asked softly.

“Why wouldn’t I like it?” Walt questioned her and smiled. “I’d like that more than anything. Us to go on a date. An official one. I mean it’s something we could try.” Walt told her lightly.

Shrugging her shoulders, Cady smiled at Branch. “I’m not sure. Do you have any suggestions, honey?” Cady smiled at her boyfriend smiling at him.

Vic couldn't help but shrug a little, "I don't know...I just thought maybe I should let it go with the idea of us getting together...well going on a date at least." she said with a sweet smile. "I'm really looking forward to try this." she noted, taking a sip of her drink

Branch thought about it for a moment, not once looking away from Cady. "You know, I am up for doing anything with you." He grinned as he reached over, holding her hand once more. "Do you want to go catch a movie?" He suggested with a sweet smile.

"So am I, Vic." Walt smiled at the blonde sitting before him. He slowly wrapped his hand around her own and smiled. He couldn't believe this, but he was looking forward to this. To being with her, and having a date. He hoped it went good because he wanted to be with her, but had to play it by ear.

Cady smiled at him, "Sure, we could that. I hope something good is playing." Cady smiled at him as she held onto his hand. She took and admired him a second, "I still can't believe dad gave you guys the day off like that. It's so unusual." Cady commented.

Vic just nodded at him, "Here's to exciting new adventures." She smiled as she looked into his eyes. "This is really nice." She noted, looking to him. She was really interested to see where this would lead them, and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. She couldn't help but have nothing but good thoughts as she continued to think about her and Walt.

"And if not, I am sure we could think of other things to do." He said with a small wink. He took a sip of his own drink, nodding to her comment. "I know, I was really surprised when he said we couldn't have the day off." He noted. "I really don't know what got into him for that to happen."

Walt nodded his head, "To new adventures." Walt smiled at her. "I can't wait to see where this leads. And this is nice, Vic. I do agree." Walt smiled at her as he took and saw them bring their food as he began eating on his food.

"I told you." Cady smiled lightly. "He likes Vic. It's written all over the two." Cady laughed holding Branch's hand. "Oh you can think of something do?" Cady laughed blushing lightly to herself.

Vic nodded, "To new adventures." She repeated after him. When the waitress brought them there food, she couldn't help but smile a little more. "This looks so delicious." She said with a bright smile. As she sat there with Walt, a million thoughts ran threw her mind. She felt like she was in a dream, however, she had to keep reminding herself that this wasn't a dream and that everything at this moment was actual reality.

Branch's eyes almost widened a little when Cady mentioned her father liking Vic. He wasn't expecting that, especially not from her. "You serious think your dad likes Vic?" He said with a surprised tone in his voice. This was really intriguing him some more. However, that wasn't going to be the main focus. It was just really surprising to him. "Oh, yes I can." He winked, answering her question on him thinking of something that they could do. Seeing Cady blush confirmed that they were on the same wave length.

Walt looked at Vic occasionally while eating his food. He smiled every chance that he could get. Walt smiled at her as he finished his food and pushed the plate aside. "Do you want desert or anything?" Walt asked her and smiled at her as he admired her before looking around the diner.

Cady hide her face in the palm of her hands, "Branch." She whispered laughing lightly as she looked up and smiled. "Yes, I do." She replied about her father and Vic. "I can see it. Everyone can see it. She flirts with him. And the two are always going on a case together if they have too." Cady smiled at her boyfriend.

Vic finished her food about the same time that Walt did. "No, I think I am good." She said when he asked about dessert. As she looked at him, she could feel her cheeks turning a little red. Just having Walt look at her the way he did made her smile and blush. There was something about the way he looked at her that made her feel like the luckiest girl in the world. "What would you like to do now?" She asked as she finished up her drink.

"Oh...I guess I'm just a little oblivious with things like that." Branch said, laughing at himself a little. He thought about it for a moment then looked at Cady. "Yeah, I guess when you think about it, they do like each other." He said, smirking. "Wow." He then said, staring off into space for a moment. Quickly pulling himself back to reality, Branch shook his head a little, looking to Cady once more. "You're so calm about this...which I guess means you are okay with this." He said.

Walt was unsure of the question Vic had asked him. He hadn't been on a date in a very long time. He truly wasn't sure what to do next. "Well." Walt shrugged. "I'm kind of unsure. I haven't been on a date in a very long time." Walt smiled at her. "I'll let the pretty lady in front of me choose what we do next." Walt smiled.

Cady shrugged her shoulders, "Branch he's a grown man. He deserves to be happy." Cady smiled at her boyfriend. "So I guess I am ok with it." She smiled at him as she finished up her food pushing her plate to the side. "Besides Vic has had a rough patch just like my dad, and they both deserve to be happy with one another." Cady smiled at him.

Vic thought about it. She really didn’t know what she wanted to do. It had been what seemed like forever since she was on a date, but she wanted to do this. “I’m really not good at deciding what to do on a date.” She admitted, blushing a little as she walked out of the diner with him.

Branch nodded with a sweet smile. “You’re so wonderful.” He grinned and finished up his food. When he was done, Branch pushed his plate aside as well, just looking to Cady. He smiled, reaching up for her hand. “So what else should we do today? Just go home and lounge?” He asked with a charming grin.

Walt chuckled, "So we both stink at this." Walt smiled at her. "Why not just drive around a little while, maybe go back to my place for a movie or to talk?" Walt suggested to her.

Cady giggled nodding her head, "Home and lounging sounds perfect." Cady smiled holding to Branch's hand.

Vic thought about it for a moment, then smiled. This was absolutely perfect. “I love that idea.” She said with a small laugh. She walked to his truck and hopped in.

Walt got in and started his truck up and smiled. He took and pulled out as he headed to his home. Once he got there and helped Vic out and led her into the house as he removed his coat and boats off sitting down on his sofa and smiling at Vic.

Cady smiled kissing his lips back before going out to the car with Branch. Once she was situated she smiled watching Branch take and walk around and get in.

Watching Walt, Vic was officially nervous about him...for once. She kept a smile on her face though as she sat down on the couch next to him. “So...” She breathed, remaining calm and relaxed.

Branch got in the car, driving them to her house. Once they were there, he got out and walked over to her side of the car. He opened the door, leaning down and kissed her softly on the lips. “Let’s go inside my dear.” He grinned.

Walt smiled at her, "So is a deep subject." Walt laughed lightly and smiled at her. "So what shall we do? Watch a movie?" He questioned staring at her as he smiled.

Cady got out and smiled going inside once they were at her house. She shut the door behind them as she removed her heels putting them at the door along with her keys and bag. She turned around gently removing Branch's hat and smirking as she leaned in kissing his lips lightly as she laid the hat on the table at the door, allowing her hands to roam freely over Branch's upper torso.

Vic nodded, “That works for me.” She said with a sweet smile. “What movie do you want to watch.” She asked as she looked to him. “I’m up to watch whatever you would like to watch.”

Branch smiled, picking her up off the ground. “Cady Longmire, I love you.” He said softly as he carried her to the bedroom. He laid her on the bed and smiled down at her. “Shall we just relax or something else?” He chuckled as he kissed her neck.

"A western?" Walt suggested that was about all he owned. Walt smiled at her as he admired her a second.
