Conflicted

Zoe gave him a smile drying herself off before gathering her clothes she wore the night before when juat pulled her hair up into a pony tail at the top of her head figuring she would fix all of it when she got back to her place.

Daniel smiled, "oh I like that dress, come on lets head over to yours," he said softly. He offered her his hand as he headed towards the door.

Zoe smiled back hearing his words, “Why thank you.” She put her flats on happy that they had dried from the snow and smiled lacing their fingers when he took her hand and started to walk with him towards her apartment building.

Daniel had a wide smile across his face, he'd pulled on dark clothes, but hadn't put on his usual makeup. He smiled as they made it to her place.

Zoe chuckled humming as she walked down the street. She unlocked her door before walking in heading to her room flicking the light on. She hummed looking through her clothes glancing up seeing Daniel come in and laughed at the look on his face as he looked around her room. "What do you think?" She mused.

Daniel had followed her in his mind lingering on completely meaningless thoughts. He stopped seeing the room, and tried to take it in, he didn't know what to say, "It's certainly something," he said. It was completely opposed to his style of bedroom, which was functional and plain.

Zoe laughed shaking her head before saying, "Well, it certainly fits my personality." She replied going into the bathroom and changing into her outfit as well as getting her makeup on. She came back out after awhile and smiled. "Ready?" She questioned him happily warm in her sweater and boots that matched the color of her hair.

Daniel grinned softly, "Yeah I'm all set, cute jumper," he said softly. He wrapped his arm around her waist gently leading her outside.

Zoe laughed hearing his words and said, “Thank you.” She replied allowing her body to move closer to his own when she felt his arm wrap around her waist. She felt so comfortable around him. She walked with him towards the mall.

Daniel smiled softly, "So anything you need?" he asked her softly. He had grabbed the debit card linked to his portion of the trust account setup for them, and felt like treating her.

“Not really. I get by with my job.” Zoe laughed smiling at him. “Though. I feel as though you need more clothing that isn’t black. You need more color.” She teased him lacing their fingers happily a smile on her face as she did so.

Daniel grinned softly walking with her, "what about something you want?" he asked her. He pulled her close, "I'll buy some coloured outfits, if you help me pick some out," he said

Zoe shrugged and said, "I don't really want anything." She told him with a laugh. "Just buy me food and I'm good." She teased with a smile and snuggled into him with a smile. "I'll help you, but only if you actually like them." She replied.

Daniel grinned softly, "Alright deal," he said. He lead her into a male fashion store, that he usually shopped at. He had a look around at the clothes. He was still thinking away quietly to himself about ideas for something he could get for her.

Zoe smiled gently walking into the store looking around as she did so. She could tel he didn’t like Britt colors so she stuck primarily to the darker reds and blues. She found a white shirt she thought he might like and showed it to him with a grin. She had a feeling she wouldn’t be able to get him into a pink shirt.

Daniel looked up at the shirt and smiled, "I kind of like it, add it to the stuff I need to try on," he said. He'd set aside a few things, mainly grey shirts, or singlets, a single dark red tee. He walked about the store, stealing glances at her continuously, thinking about things she might want. He walked over to her, "what about some sexy lingerie, I could get you something like that," he whispered into her ear.

Zoe smiled setting it down with his other things and laughed seeing grey shirts and picked out a white one for him to try on before humming as she walked with him throughout the store. Hearing his suggestion in her ear she laughed. "It's not comfortable to dance in." She kissed his cheek takiing his hand before beginning to walk again.

Daniel smiled softly, "you don't have to dance in them, would you let me buy you some as a thank you?" he asked softly. He lead her into the changing room, to try the shirts on.

Zoe laughed looking at him and said, "A thank for what exactly?" She questioned him walking into the changing room. She just sat down and watched him put shirts on giving her opinion when he asked.

Daniel smiled at her, "for putting up with me," he stated. He walked over to her and whispered in her ear, "Besides I'll pick something that will drive me crazy" he ran his hand along her leg lightly. He picked a few shirts and walked with her to the counter.
