"I'll have to change that then, won't I? Food is essential, once you've had my cooking you'll want nothing but," she joked as she looked at him then added some honey and a bit of sugar to her tea. "I make very savory foods," if she hadn't joined law enforcement she'd be a chef for sure.

Reid smiled lightly taking a seat on the couch, "I make do, JJ always makes sure I eat if we're on a case," he said lightly. "Which seems to be all the time recently," he added. He pulled his knees to his chest. He began spurting off random facts about green tea for like five minutes.

Dawn smiled as she looked at him listening to him rattle off facts was probably one of her favorite things; sometimes it intrigued her how he held so much knowledge in his head. "I love it when you do that," she admitted to him quietly as she folded her legs under her then sipped her tea, "learn something new everyday,"

Reid blushed slightly, "Thank you, the others find it annoying sometimes," he admitted softly. He poured himself a tea and sipped it. He often could go off on tangents at work, which were quickly interrupted to get him back on task. He smiled at her, "So did you want to use the bed tonight? I'm happy to sleep out here," he added.

"I can't take your bed, Spence," she murmured shaking her head, "I'll sleep out here, it's fine really," the last thing Dawn wanted to do was take over his bed, it was something she didn't wan to; put him out of his way for her. Especially when he looked so tired.

Reid nodded softly, "Okay, If you're sure," he said lightly. He finished his tea, "I think I should take a nap, I'm pretty tired," he said softly.

"Go ahead, I'll be fine," she smiled a little as she looked at him then rested her head back on the couch relaxing into the leather.

Spencer nodded gently, "Okay, I'll try be up in a couple hours," he said softly. He stood up tidying away the things from tea, then headed to his room. He lay down on the bed still dressed, and closed his eyes

Dawn stared at the ceiling and without realizing it her thoughts had wandered to the man in the other room, she bit her bottom lips and closed her eyes doing the best she could to push the thought from her mind. Dawn hadn't felt this way since her ex-husband, and emotions that clouded her mind and heart weren't something she was sure she wanted to give into.

Spencer drifted into a deep sleep. His head aching and his body sore. His mind went to thoughts of Gideon, and Maeve. It was painful, and stressful, he began sweating, and if he wasn't so tired the nightmare would of woke him. Instead he was trashing about, and mumbling.

Waking from her spot on the couch she heard Spencer making noise, gently she padded into his room and peeked. Nightmares. They weren't a stranger to her either, every since that day she'd been nearly killed, "Spence," she murmured touching his arm gently then stroked his face, "Come on wake up," she murmured.

Spencer remained asleep, mumbling softly for a few moments. Suddenly his eyes opened and he reached out and grabbed the form in front of him. Once he realised it was her, he relaxed and let her go, "sorry," he said softly.

Dawn looked at him her brow furrowed, "Are you okay?" she asked softly, "you were screaming,"

Spencer nodded softly, "Just a nightmare, about a couple people I lost, it's okay," he said softly. He relaxed down onto the bed, "How are you feeling?" he asked her softly.

"I'm fine, I was just worried, " she said to him gently, "do you want anything to drink?" she asked her eyes still heavy with sleep.

Reid sat up in the bed slightly, 'A water would be good," he said softly. He waited for her to leave and then shifted on the bed. He wanted her to be comfortable, so he made room so she could sleep on the bed as well. He looked over at a chess game in the corner and frowned softly, it reminded him of Gideon.

He stripped off his vest and his shoes, getting more comfortable, now that he wasn't so exhausted.

She brought him a glass of water then handed it to him sitting on the edge of the bed furthers from him yawning a little rubbing her eyes, "that sets been sitting there a while - i think I see dust," she said to him, "I tried learning once,"

Reid took the water and sipped it lightly. He nodded softly, "yeah I can't put it away, It's the last game I was playing with Gideon," he said softly. "It's a good brain training game, I could try teach you," he said softly.

"I'd like that," she smiled as she looked at him then sighed. "I'll let you sleep some more, it's still not past three yet," she told him before moivng to stand up.

Reid looked at her, "please stay," he said softly moving over on the bed laying down. "If you're okay with that," he added softly. He needed the rest, but was scared he'd have another nightmare if she left him.
