Looking at him she was unsure, but she moved the blankets back and slid under them. "Okay," she murmured gently aznd laid down on the bed turning of the lamp to her left before sighing tiredly.
Reid smiled softly and lay back relaxing. He drifted back into a easy slumber. "Thank you," he whispered. He wanted to cuddle up with her, but refrained. In his slumber, he had a pleasant dream about her, he began mumbling her name softly, "Dawn, it's nice to spend time with you." he said softly.
Dawn open her eyes a little hearing her name then smiled a little as she looked at him before relaxing and dozing back off. When she woke up the next morning she was laying flat on her stomach with the pillow bunched under her head.
Reid was stretched out on the bed continuing to snooze away. It was like it had been days since he'd slept properly. His arm was laying gently across her back.
She shifted a little and yawned sleepily then subconsciously scooted closer to the source of warmth on the bed, her feet always chilly in the morning. When she officially opened her eyes she saw she was cuddled closer to Spencer and she froze, oh no how was she going to get out of this?
Reid groaned lightly, he was slowly waking up. Still with sleep in his eyes, he rubbed them with his hands. He smiled seeing her next to him still, "thank you for keeping me safe," he said softly.
She nodded a little,"Anytime," she said to him as she sat up and stretched her back arching as she whined then relaxed laying back down on the bed. "do we have to do anything today?" she asked since she was on leave for the next two weeks.
Reid smiled at her watching her stretch. "Nothing much, we have the day off," he said softly. He sat up in the bed, "I could begin to teach you about chess," he suggested.
"Sounds good to me, I'll order something for breakfast from postmates - do you like anything inparticular?" she asked him curiously, knowing his fridge was probably barren.
Reid shrugged "no I'm okay, I'm fine with whatever," he said softly. He climbed off the bed and headed towards his bathroom, "I just need to freshen up a bit."
She nodded as she picked up her phone and ordered them both something simple then walked to the sink drinking a glass of hot water like she did every morning. She pushed her hair back with her hand then sighed a little still waking up, she wasn't really a morning person.
Reid came back after waking himself up properly. He watched her, "you can use the shower first if you want," he said softly. He hoped she didn't regret staying over last night.
