She smiled, "Maybe we could work out together then?" she offered, "I mostly do cardio since we do a lot of running at work," she said to him.

Spencer nodded softly slowly beginning to pick away at his salad. "Yeah maybe, I'll let you know if I ever want to join you," he said. He was still struggling to work out why he so quickly became comfortable around her.

Dawn finished her food and sighed as she sat back, "I'm stuffed," she murmured lightly as she smiled. "Are you ready to head back?" looking at the time on her phone she lifted her eyes to his waiting for an answer.

Spencer also finished eating, he thought for a moment, 'No I should probably head to the bank, I have to talk to them, could you cover for me with the team until I get back to the office?" he asked her. He was happy to walk to the bank and back to the office, it wouldn't take that long.

"Yeah sure," Dawn nodded in agreement, "Sure you want a ride?" personally she wouldn't walk too much if she could help but it, however, he seemed to enjoy it well enough so who was she to judge? She paid with her credit card and finished off her sweet tea.

Reid shook his head, "no I'll be okay, it's just the bank down the block, I'll met you back at the office," he said lightly. He smiled standing up, "thank you for lunch," he said softly.

She nodded a little and stood up making sure to leave a tip for the waitress, "No problem," she said to him, "I don't mind paying - besides, thats what friends do right?" she said as she looked at her phone as it began to ring. "It's my mom, I'll see you later," she told him.

Reid nodded and left her to her phone call. Making his way to the bank, Spencer tried to think of what he'd say and how he'd approach the issue. He had to discuss with his banker some issues involving money for his mother and her care. He was very close with his mother, and wanted to provide her with the very best care, but it was becoming difficult with all the costs involved. He would sort it out though.

Spencer walked into the bank, and managed to catch an advisor at a good time. He was taken to the side towards a small office and they began chatting the issues.

Dawn managed to get back to the office in time for her lunch break to be over, she sighed a little then made sure everyone knew Reid had some stuff to take care of but would be back soon. It was a little over an hour later when she realized her wasn't back, she looked up seeing the tv on in the office and froze when she saw that that bank was being robbed. "oh," she murmured. Dawn stood up and quickly walked to Aaron's office.

"Hotch, we have a problem," she said as she looked at him, "Reid went to the bank, the same one thats being robbed right now and is on tv,"

It had been a blur of motion. Spencer heard a gunshot, and pulled the banker under his desk. He knew from statistics that being a police officer or law enforcement bank robbers weren't expecting, tended to be a bad thing. He removed his Badge from his trousers and placed it along with his weapon into the drawer of the desk.

The robbers told everyone to get down and were threatening to kill anyone who didn't listen. They bolted the front doors, and were all around irritated. Reid knew that in time the police would be outside to attempt to resolve the situation. He knew that if he waited he could provide valuable information to the team. He checked his phone, but the signal was jammed. He would just have to wait for the right moment and hope someone would notice his attempts to signal.

Aaron looked up, "Reid's in there?" he asked pointing to the screen showing coverage. He immediately picked up the phone ringing a local police chief. "Hey its Aaron Hotchner from the BAU, We have a team member inside that bank being robbed, my team will be down there shortly to help out," he said into the phone before hanging up. "Get the team, we're leaving now," he said to Dawn.

She nodded a little and walked out of the office letting everyone they were heading out, she was handed a bullet vest and she put it on. Using a hair tie she pulled her hair back into a pony tail then sighed as she walked out with the rest of them. "Do we know anything yet?" she asked as she looked to Aaron with a worried expression on her face.

"What did he need at the bank?" Derek asked as he looked at her.

Dawn shook her head, "I don't know he didn't say," she told him gently as she climbed into the back of the SUV.

Reid told the banker to keep calm, and quiet. He slowly made his way to the side of the building near a window. He looked out it and saw the police had surrounded the bank, but he couldn't see any SUV's like the bureau's. He settled down, listening in on the bank robbers.

The robbers were going to attempt to get into the vault, and had already isolated the manager of the bank. The civilians and tellers so far seemed scared, but okay.

When they arrived it looked like chaos outside, cop cars everywhere people waiting for orders and civilians waiting on curiously. "They shouldn't be here," she said looking at the civilians, "It's not safe," the culture surrounding crime was so much different in the states- something she wasn't quite used to.

"What we know is there are two bank robbers, one is holding a shotgun the other a semi automatic rifle. It's two men, they seem to know each other well but thats all we know," the police chief explained.

Dawn nodded a little and opened her phone calling Garcia, "Hey, we need the camera feed in the bank can you send it to my laptop," she asked as she opened the laptop and set it on the back of a car.

Spencer quickly checked out the window again, and saw the team had rolled up. He looked up and saw a security camera, but knew it'd take awhile for the team to get the feed. He began signalling morse code by raising and dropping the corner of the curtain. "3 perps, vault,". He kept repeating the phrase over and over again.

Dawn sighed a little and looked when Aaron touched her shoulders, "He's sending us a signal, there is 3 perps not 2 and they're going for the vault," he said to her and she shook her head.

"They won't get out alive what are they thinking?" there was a look of confusion on her face, "what if they get off on it; an impossible situation and then somehow getting out of it...What if there is four perps instead of three - except one of them is under cover as a civilian?"

Aaron smiled softly, 'you know Reid, you think he'd have missed a fourth guy?" he asked her lightly. "The feed will come through soon."

Reid stopped signalling and looked out the window, he noticed Aaron looking towards the window. He knew they'd have gotten his message fine, "twenty civilians, staff" he began sending through. He knew in these situations the number of perps and hostages was not always calculated accurately by people outside the situation. It was important that they knew the facts.

She began talking with the person in charge of negotiations telling them how to handle the situation since they didnt seem to be able to et them to pick up the phone.

Ried stopped signalling once again once he figured the team had decoded the message. He stood up and walked into the main part of the bank with his hands raised. 'You want to pick up that phone," he called out to the guy that seemed in charge.

The robbers panicked raising there weapons to point a the man walking towards them. "Why should we, they won't give us what we want anyway" he called back.

Reid stopped moving, "If you don't pick up, they'll get antsy and probably breach in here with guns blazing, I don't want that, you don't want that," he explained. He got down onto his knees and waited for them.

The guy picked up the phone.

She stood with the man and listened to what he said and put the headphones on to listen in on the call, her heart was hammering in her chest. Dawn felt like she should have given him a ride, she should have went with him; what if he got hurt?

Reid was calm inside, he knew that as long as the robbers thought they were in control things would be alright. He looked at the lead guy, "You should probably ask for food or water for the hostages, it'll show them that you don't plan of hurting anyone if you get what you want," he said lightly.

The guy looked at him, "what do you know about it?" he snapped.

Reid had to think quickly, "I read a lot of books, and watch movies," he replied.
