Mr. and Mrs. President

Jack crossed his arms, "Are you sure?" Jack questioned once more. He felt like something was wrong but he couldn't get it out of her.

Jackie sighed softly. She didn't want to freak him out, but she didn't want to keep things from him. She looked to him, slowly sitting up on the bed, a hand still on her bump. "Jack." She whispered, then breathed. "I want you to stay home." She knew from saying this that Jack would be questioning how she was feeling.

"I'll go tell them to let everyone know. I'll be right back baby." Jack promised her.

Jackie nodded, breathing slowly as she adjusted back to laying down. She knew when Jack returned that he more than likely would be questioning how she was feeling or what was going on. She pulled the blanket off her body, revealing her round bump, rubbing the sides and bottom, trying her best to soothe and settle the baby.

Walking back inside, Jack stared at his wife, "What is wrong?" Jack questioned her. "Are you in labor? Do we need to make arrangements to head to the hospital?" He began questioning.

Jackie lifted her head up when she heard Jack come back into their room. The questions had began. "I don't want to leave, but there could be a possibility that I'm in labor." She simply stated. "But this could be nothing." She said as she laid on her side. Making eye contact with Jack, Jackie motioned for him to move closer to her.

Walking over, Jack sat down beside of her. "If you are, we need to go to the hospital Jackie. False or not." Jack rubbed her back lightly staring at her.

Jackie shook her head. "No, I'm fine for now. Just feeling uncomfortable." When he started rubbing her back, Jackie tried to relax. "Just keep massage, I'll be fine." She reassured him. She sat up carefully as she adjusted her body, a hand on the side of her bump.

Jack kept massaging her back hoping it'd help ease her.

Jackie sat there in the bed, feeling her muscles slowly relaxing. She didn't know what to do, but going to the hospital was not one of them. The brunette mother-to-be remained quiet, only making soft and slow breathing sounds as she sat there. She could feel her husband sitting behind her, just staring at her. "Jack, you might as well take a picture or draw one at least if you're going to keep staring at me like this." She said, trying to lighten up the mood in the room.

"I wouldn't have to stare. If you'd quit being so stubborn." Jack told her. "You're in labor. I remember from Caroline. I just want you and the baby safe. Is all." Jack got up and walked around. "Is there anything I can get you?" He questioned rolling the sleeves of his button up halfways up his arms as he crossed them staring at his wife.

Jackie rolled her eyes a little when she heard Jack call her stubborn. "I am NOT in labor." She emphasized as she remained sitting up on the bed, propped up with her elbows. "The baby and I are safe." She reassured him as her eyes followed his movements. She watched, leaning back some as she watched her husband cross him arms and just stare at him. "What? What Jack? What?"

Jack sighed, "Jackie." Jack stared at her. "Would you like anything? Can I get you anything?" Jack questioned his wife.

Jackie sighed. "I just want you in the bed to hold onto you." She sat up more, rubbing her rounded belly. "Maybe we can take a bath or shower in a moment? That would help." She said as she suck in some air, breathing in and out heavily.

"Okay." Jack replied to her as he wrapped his arms around her waist laying behind her. Rubbing her belly a little and her back he frowned. He knew the signs but he wasn't going to adjate her anymore.

Jackie laid there staying quiet. She breathed in and out, gripping the bedsheets in, feeling the pain. "Oooh." She mumbled as she lowered her head a little. She closed her eyes, not daring to look at Jack.

"Jackie." Jack whispered looking over when she made a pained sound noise.

Jackie shook her head when she heard Jack's soft voice. "What?" She breathed as she moved down on the bed to lay back down.

"Honey." Jack whispered. "I think it's time." Jack told her softly.

Jackie sighed and shook her head. "No." She whispered, breathing as she closed her eyes. She gasped a little, burying her head into the pillow.
