Heart for Heart

Emma giggled slipping into Will's car. Watching him get in she smiled beamingly at him. "Aren't you such an adorable gentleman." She smiled as she took and sat there watching him a moment. "Will, I honestly thought we'd never have another chance like this again." Emma smiled admitting it.

Will smiled, looking at her. "I didn't think we would ever have another chance like this either but I am truly happy for this." He chuckled, "But to get the chance with you again...I didn't want to miss it." He winked, leaning over to kiss her softly on the lips.

Emma returned the kiss slowly pulling back. "Well I am glad we're getting it too." She whispered cupping his cheek softly. "So what did you have planned tonight?" Emma smiled.

Will smiled at her, "Well I was thinking we could go to dinner at the first place that we ever went to...on our first date." He grinned. "Then we could walk the park...and just let this evening go and we can decide what we want to do as we go about it." He looked down at he and smiled brightly. "What do you think of that?"

Emma smiled brightly at him, "I love that, Will. Sounds perfect." Emma smiled.

Will smiled. It was the smallest things that made him smile, and hearing her say his name was one thing that made him smile even more. "I thought you would like that idea." Will chuckled as he leaned over once more and kissed her softly on the lips. Pulling back, he started the vehicle before making his way to the restaurant. When they got there, Will looked at her, still smiling his little goofy grin on his face. "Well, my dear, we are here." He said brightly as he parked the car. "Shall we go inside?" He said, winking.

Emma giggled softly, "I think we shall." Emma spoke to Will as she took and got out. Walking around to him she held to his hand and began walking inside. Once they were seated she noticed they were at the table they'd first ate there too. "Will, did you do this too?" Emma smiled at him. "This is so romantic, and mind blowing." Emma giggled softly staring at him holding his hand.

Will just smiled, "I might have." He grinned as they sat down at the table. It took a little bit of work to get the table that they first ate there at, but he knew it could be possible. He smiled at her comment, holding her hand for a second before bringing it up to his lips so that he could place a soft kiss on it. "I just wanted to make this night perfect for the two of us." He spoke with honesty as he continued to hold her hand. "Emma, I know that we've had our ups and downs, but I feel like this second chance that life is giving us is going to be for the good." He said as he started to look over the menu.

Smiling ear to ear, Emma nodded her head. "I couldn't agree more, Will. And this time, I am not taking it for granted or anything. I am going to make the most of it." Emma leaned over to him kissing his lips softly. Smiling at him she held him close, "I love you William Halstead." Emma whispered staring at him before sitting back down as she removed her jacket slowly and smiled at Will.

For the first time in forever, Will Halstead’s heart was pounding rather fast. Hearing Emma speak her love for him, just made his heart skip a beat or two. He couldn’t believe it and he was so glad to hear those words. It has been a while and to hear it now was just perfection. Getting lost in her eyes, Will leaned over and kissed her. “I love you too, Emily Voight.” He whispered in his husky voice.

Emma smiled at Will as she blushed. "You still have that effect on me." Emma whispered kissing his lips lightly once more. Seeing the waiter come over to them she smiled placing her order for Chicken Parmesan and some wine.

Will chuckled, “I was hoping I still did.” He admitted, winking at her. When the waiter brought their food, he sat back a little looking as the food was placed in front of him. “This is perfect.” He said before taking his first bite. Just eating the food, Will was taken back to their first date here. He smiled at her.

Emma smiled at Will blushing. "You and I both ordered the same thing. Our first date." Emma smiled biting into her food. She looked up seeing her dad walk in with another man. She sat cautiously seeing the two make their way and sit down. He looked to be in a heated argument. She shook her head and looked at Will smiling.

Will looked over at the commotion as he sat there. He then looked to Emma and smiled at her. “We can still enjoy our night.” He said as he looked at their foods. “We did.” He chuckled. “Gosh, this is absolutely perfectly.”’he grinned as he reached for her empty hand.

Emma smiled nodding her head, "Beyond perfect. Something out of a fairytale book." Emma laughed softly. "Thank you Will." Emma smiled at him seeing the waiter bring their food.

Will grinned as the waiter brought them their food. “This night couldn’t be perfect without you.” He grinned, winking at her as the waiter placed the food down in front of her. “What else would you like to do tonight?” He asked.

Emma had just taken a bite of her food when Will had asked her the question. Smiling she placed her hand over her mouth letting the food go down. "I'm not sure." Emma smiled. "What do you think we should do next?" Emma questioned smiling as she took a sip of her wine.

"Isn't that your daughter over there, Hank?" Eddie questioned.

"Yeah that's her." Hank sighed. "That's her ex, Will. The one that broke her heart and sent her to Texas." Hank shook his head. "I would've loved to gave him a ass beating before she hooked up with him again." Hank growled.

"Then do so." Eddie smirked.

"Eddie, I am not. She's happy and I won't ruin her happiness." Hank told his friend before looking at his daughter one more time and going back to the information Eddie was giving him.
