“Once. My dad had to climb onto the roof, something had gotten caught in the antenna.” Jolie explained.

“Well, I guess we’ll check there first.” Dylan said.

He and Danny walked out of the house, armed just in case.

“Be careful!” Leo called out.

Jorel came from behind the tv.

“They’ll be fine. Sci-fi freak is with Danny.” Jorel chuckled.

George sighed.

“Kind of want a bever.” Her nervously he chuckled.

“You either shit or drink when you’re nervous.” Jorel laughed

“Fuck you Jay.” George replied before going into the kitchen

Jolie got up and followed him. “George, about last night...I didn’t mean it as I said it...the rebound thing...” she said, watching him.

Jordon sighed as he sat with Leo. “How long you think we’ll be able to stay here?” He asked her.

George smirked.
“That’s okay.” He said grabbing a cold beer from the fridge.
He placed his hand on her shoulder.
“I’m sorry I freaked out. I.. just got out of a relationship myself and it kinda fucked me up.” He sighed, opening his beer before taking a drink.
“And suddenly, I’m over her again.” He laughed.

Leo looked at Jordon.
“Until our resources start depleting.” She sighed.
“With all of us eating.. we have approximately... 3 months and 25 days before. That’s if everyone has one serving of food.” She sighed.
“But who’s counting.”

Jolie smiled. “Well, we’ll just take it slow so neither of us fuck up.” She said, grabbing a Diet Coke for herself. “I don’t get how you guys can drink beer first thing in the morning.” She chuckled.

“You, apparently.” Jordon laughed. Suddenly the tv went back to normal. “Great! They fixed it!” He said.

George smirked and flexed his arm.
"Because we're fucking men." He said before exhaling in laughter.

Leo cheered.
"THE TV IS FIXED... but nothings on."

Jorel sighed.
"What the fuck is happening right now."

Jolie giggled and rolled her eyes. She went back into the living room and frowned. “No idea.”

Dylan and Danny came back in. “Damn, thought we fixed it.” Danny said.

“Maybe the tv station is down.” Jordon shrugged.

"Maybe. Anyone got a phone? Mine got smashed running off stage." George wined.
"I just got it toooooo." He continued to complain.

"George, I swear if you don't stop crying about your phone." Jorel laughed a bit.

Leo pulled out her phone.
"No service..." She sighed, turning her phone off.

"Same here." Jorel repeated tossing his phone on the coffee table.

“Mine too.” Jordon sighed.

Jolie trued her house phone. “Lines are down.” She sighed.

“Awesome, next the power is going to go out.” JOrdon said.

“It better not or I’m kicking your ass.” Dylan said.

Before anyone could say anything the power goes out.

“Waiting on that punch.” George said laughing.

“Greaaaat.” Leo rolled her eyes.

Jorel sat there for a second.

“I think I seen a generator? How full is it Jolie?” He asked

“I’m not sure...it hasn’t been used in years.” Jolie said, getting up and grabbing a flashlight. “We can go check it out.” She told him.

Jorel nodded and headed outside to the barn to retrieve the generator.
They came up to it and jorel blew the dust off it.
He coughed a bit.
“This really is old..”
He giggled a bit

“Yeah it is.” Jordon laughed and sat down to help him.

It took a few minutes but they finally got it up and running.

“Yay!” Jolie cheered.

“Yes!” Jorel cheered.
He looked over at Jolie.
“We’re going to need gas.. I hate to say it.. but one of us has to get it.. let’s tell the guys.”

George looked up as the lights turned back on.
“Hell yeah!” He cheered holding his beer in the air.
Leo smiled and giggled.

“Good news and bad news. We got the generator up but we’re going to have to go get gas.” Jolie said.

“So someone has to go out there? Not me.” Danny said.

“I can go, just need someone to go with me.” Jolie said.

Everyone turned to look at George, even Jolie.

George took a drink of his beer.
“What’s up.” He said belching.

Leo laughed.

“You’re going out with Jolie.” Jorel snickered.

“No I’m not. We haven’t even boned.” He said with a smirk.

“You idiot.” Jorel sighed.

“Okay in all seriousness. Jolie isn’t going out. Dylan, you’re coming. You’re the smart one.” George looked around.

“You have an empty back pack of some sort? Gonna need weapons.” He smirked talking to Jolie

Jolie rolled her eyes and grabbed an empty backpack from the closet. “I’m also going, whether you like it or not. It’ll take two of you to get the gas and someone else to stand watch.” She said.

“Damn George, id just let her go before rips you a new one.” Jordon laughed.

Dylan chuckled but agreed.

“Fine Mami. Go.” He sighed a bit before tossing her and Dylan a wired bat.

“Be careful. You don’t know what’s out there.” Jorel said.

George sighed again.

“Thank you, captain obvious.” He said tipping an air hat toward him.

“Be careful guys!” Leo called out, before sighing and then walking into the kitchen

Jolie began walking with them, keeping alert as they walked. “Where’s the nearest gas station?” Dylan asked.

“We’re close.” Jolie said as they walked further into town.

“Do you guys hear that?” He asked. A low grumbling noise case from behind them

“Fuck what do we do.” He said standing there as quiet as he could be.

Leo grabbed a cup and ran some water in it.

She smiled when she seen Jordon walk in.

She took a sip and nodded.

“Yeah I’m good.” She giggled.

“Didn’t think I was going to die this way.” She laughed again.
