“Well, Joey quit.” Taylor said, getting off the phone.

“No surprise there.” Charlie rolled her eyes. “Guess I’m the new singer/rapper/guitarist still.” She laughed.

“Hell yeah mama, you can do it.” Taylor chuckled.

Kia rolled her eyes.

“Guess that’s how it’ll be.” Kia said.

“Time for practice then?” Nik said strumming a riff on his bass.

Kia put the guitar on and smirked.

“Let’s get it.” She smiled at Charlie.

“I’m so fucking nervous.” Charlie said.

Her and Kia were sitting at Starbucks. They were meeting with two of the members of HU.

“Are you sure we can do this?” She asked her friend and looked up as Charlie Scene and Johnny 3 Tears came in.

“So you guys are the kids we’re touring with.” George said with a smile.
“Can’t wait to see what you have for us, because, that’s right, you’re performing a song for us.” He smirked looking at Charlie and Kia.

Kia looked at Charlie and gulped.

“Shit..” you could hear Nik say.

“And you look like you’re pushing forty, so your point?” Charlie said.
