"Yeah, Cas does a lot to help us overall, but... Aside from him, I don't think there are any other angels who share his views," Sam admitted to her. But, overall, he was glad to have Cas on their side - the angel was a great ally, in the end. Feeling her shove him, though, he couldn't help but to laugh. "What! It's true," he told her with a grin, though his grin softened to a smile as he listened to her. Shaking his head, he leaned back in his own seat, watching her. "Yeah, well, my world would be a dark place without you, so there's that," he told her with amusement, mostly aiming to embarrass her at this point, but he was also being honest, because he really did feel that way.

"Oh, thanks for reminding me of that," Alice announced with a laugh, mentally recalling it. "Who would have guessed that you were so uncoordinated? And you fight monsters and demons and angels all the time, but you got taken out by spilled beer!" She laughed at the memory, covering her mouth with her free hand for a moment, beyond amused as she thought about it. "It was a good day." Grinning over at him, her grin softened to a smile and she returned the squeeze lightly, nodding. "Right, of course. I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't so much trouble." Shaking her head, she settled back in her seat, relaxing.

"Oh, my God, Sam!" Rosie squeaked, covering her face with her hands. "I'm gonna punch you in the neck, honestly." She half joked, turning away from him. Lowering her hands, she felt the cold air come through from Dean's window, cracked open two inches. She exhaled and took the time to concentrate on the wind on her face. Sometimes, she forgot her reality was this. Travelling, fighting the frightening, and living as free as the wind. Some of that was liberating, but some of that made her miss the days where she and her parents were a proper family. Although, she wouldn't trade in Sam for anything. The love of her life, Sam Winchester, the world's unknown hero. She smiled to herself at the thought. Her Sam. The hero.

Dean muttered jokingly under his breath. "I am co-ordinated, just not when I've got some beer in me, it's a guy thing." He said matter of factly. "It was a great day. Wasn't that the day where I drunkenly admitted how I felt about you, saying you were the most beautiful woman, before collapsing and falling asleep in your lap?" Dean laughed, shaking his head. "Man, it really was a great day. Cause, thankfully, you saw past that and actually admitted that you had a crush on me." He grinned with accomplishment. "Don't feel bad for him, honestly, he's a big boy. He can handle it." Dean chuckled. "So, did you book us the Honeymoon suite in this motel?" He jokingly wiggled his eyebrows in Alice's direction, taking his eyes off the road for a brief moment, still not letting go of her hand.

Sam tried to hold back the laugh that built up in him, but it eventually burst forth, the noise filling the car despite himself. "You wouldn't," he told her with amusement, shaking his head, "Besides, I'm only telling the truth. Would you rather I lie to you?" He arched a brow, amused as he watched her. Of course, he'd never been the best at lying to her. With Dean, he could pretend, sure. But, with Rosie, any time he'd tried to lie over even simple things, the words had gotten caught in his throat and the truth would come out instead. He hated the thought of lying to her in general, so he was sure he'd never be capable of it, even if it might be what she preferred in situations like this. "Deep down, I think you like it when I say things like that, though," he teased lightly, grinning at her.

"Excuses, excuses," Alice teased in a hum, though she smiled slightly with the reminders and nodded. "It was that day, yeah." It was hard to believe that things had turned out that way for them, all because Dean had gotten drunk and admitted what he thought of her, and she got to admit how she felt for him without worrying about how he would react. Everything had turned out really great for them, just because of those simple moments. "Who would have guessed that day would bring us here, hm? To you asking about the Honeymoon suite, which you know I'd never personally rent, since that's embarrassing - but, if you want to upgrade when we get there, go for it." She laughed, certain he wouldn't, since he'd said to get the cheap options, but it was fun to joke about, at least.

The sound of Sam's laugh was music to Rosie's ears. She'd seen him through some of the hardest times. She had seen him through anger, tears, hallucinations of Lucifer - those were the most difficult times. Times where she would hold him and reassure him that Lucifer wasn't there. When he was hospitalised, it broke Rosie's heart, and she vowed that when she met the fallen angel, she'd be the one to personally put a blade through his chest. "You think I wouldn't punch you in the neck?" She grinned. "Anyway, Sam, you wouldn't lie to me. You're too much of a puppy. You wouldn't have it in you," she smirked, avoiding what Sam had finished with. She did like it when Sam told her she was important to him. It made her feel truly loved for the first time in a long time.

"Not an excuse," Dean defended himself weakly. Although he would never admit it, Dean had always wanted a happy relationship. His line of work had never permitted him to have such a luxury, but then Alice came into his life, and Dean could balance both. Dean smiled at the memory of that night, and how things from then on just got so much better. There was more light in his life now then there had ever been. "The Honeymoon Suite!" Dean chuckled. "Man, imagine going up to some creep and asking for the suite where everybody goes to bang!" He pulled a slight face of disgust at his own joke. "Anyway, we're not far from the motel. Does the map tell you how long we have left?"

"Oh, no, no, I know that, if I push you hard enough, you probably would punch me in the neck," Sam said with a small grin as he watched her. He was sure he could only push her so far with all the embarrassing comments before she lost it, but he still couldn't help it. He liked seeing how bright her cheeks got and the expressions that formed on her features each time. Everything about her made his life so much better, and she made him the happiest he'd ever been - and he couldn't ever really pass up on letting her know that. "Oh, ouch," he said, clutching at his chest, "That hurts, Rosie. That really hurts. But, I wouldn't lie to you because I wouldn't want to - at least that means that every sweet thing I say to you is the truth, though." He grinned teasingly at her.

Alice grinned slightly as she watched him and shook her head with amusement. Considering their work, there weren't many times they could openly be lighthearted, but the Winchesters tended to be pretty good at lightening things up. It made life a whole lot more enjoyable - but, then, just having Dean in her life at all made that possible, anyways. "You're the one who brought up the Honeymoon Suite!" she reminded with a laugh, "If anybody should have to ask for it, it's you!" She grinned jokingly and leaned back in the seat, resting her gaze on the phone to check. "It should only be another half hour."

"Sam," Rosie whined as her cheeks reddened again, turning her whole body away from him, so her back was facing him. "You really are heading in for that punch." She teased, watching passing signs as Dean drove further into Colorado. In the distance, the sun was setting, creating a breathtaking easel of oranges and reds. Rosie looked on in awe. There was always something about sunsets. It was moments like this where Rosie looked past everything - all that she had lost, all that she had gained, and the dangerous life she lived, because life was sometimes beautiful.

"Hell no," Dean chuckled, kissing her hand before reluctantly letting go to turn on the blinker, coming off the highway as he followed the heavily signed path to central Colorado, looking forward to getting to the motel to watch crappy nighttime TV while holding the woman he loved the most. Turning off the blinker, Dean took Alice's hand in his own once again. He wouldn't tell her, but he had a feeling she knew, that her touch was the most comforting thing to Dean. And when they were about to head into something unknown and potentially dangerous, he wanted to make the most of it. "We'll get some grub before we head to the motel, so tell me if you see any diners. Need me some good pie after that drive..." Dean licked his lips in thought. "I'm hungry."

Sam laughed but he reached out to wrap his arms around her, pulling her gently against himself as he smiled own at her. "I'm sure you don't hate it as much as you pretend to," he teased lightly, but his expression softened when he noticed the faraway look she got. Smiling, he let himself admire her in that moment, so distracted and enjoying the view they had. The lights from the sunset, the colors, settled onto her skin, giving her a sort of surreal glow that Sam found breathtaking in itself. It was always a wonder to him, seeing her in moments like this, and he captured each of these moments in his memory, always feeling lucky to witness them.

Alice grinned, glad to hear his laugh, and she squeezed his hand once he took her hand again. The simple contact between them made her happy, made her feel safe, even if she wouldn't ever admit to feeling otherwise. "Right, of course, I'll keep an eye out," she hummed out with amusement. It didn't surprise her one bit, so she settled her gaze on keeping an eye out for signs or diners that looked nice, hoping to find the best one for Dean. "Ooh, okay, what about that one?" she suggested, pointing.

Rosie hadn't even taken on board what Sam said, too busy admiring the sunset. She looked up at Sam, smiling weakly as she reached up to press a sweet kiss to his jaw. Feeling the warmth of him against her made her appreciate these little moments much more.

Dean pulled into the parking lot of the diner, which was nearly empty. He parked the Impala just outside the front of the diner. "Alright, everyone out!" He pulled the key from Baby's ignition, pressing a chaste kiss to Alice's hand before letting go of her hand completely. "Time to eat! Most important meal of the day!" He opened the driver side door, standing to his feet for the first time in a couple of hours. The evening air was cold against his skin, but he just enjoyed being away from the bunker. "I feel the friggin Scooby gang. We're just missing a dog."

Sam smiled with the feeling, rubbing her arms gently before looking to Dean when they parked. Reaching for the door, he opened it, releasing his hold on Rosie to climb out, though he offered his hand out to Rosie to help her out. "Think Dean will eat himself into a food coma?" he asked jokingly, grinning at Rosie, "Since we've been stuck eating the bunker food so much lately, I'm half sure he'll eat this place out of all its burgers for the month." He shook his head, amused, but smiled to himself.

Alice moved to climb out of the car, stretching her arms out above her before she closed the door. It felt nice to stretch her legs after being cooped up in the car for a few hours. "Oh, no dog will amount to Scooby Doo," she joked lightly, grinning over at Dean, "And there aren't any hippie flowers painted all over your Baby, either." Although, admittedly, she was sure it'd be a hilarious sight.

"I'm a little worried, I don't know CPR," Rosie laughed, accepting Sam's hand, kissing his cheek as she was brought straight to her feet. "Sam, what if he has too much grease?" She frowned playfully. "Although, I gotta admit, I'm so excited for a good bacon cheeseburger." She smiled. "I just hope Dean doesn't eat all the stock." She snorted with laughter, leading Sam into the diner to choose a booth for the four of them.

"No one's touching my Baby," Dean warned, half serious. Offering Alice his arm, Dean thought for a moment. "You know, I'd love to have a dog." It was a random thought, but it was true. It was a big shame that their lifestyle didn't really have much room for a four legged friend. "I'd call it Hamburger. Big fan of food names." He grinned, proud of himself for that observation.

"I'm sure there's gotta be somebody inside who knows CPR," Sam assured her, offering a smile, because there had to be somebody like that in most of the places they went to. "I'm half sure that, with everything we've been through, Dean going out on greasy burgers would be his favored way to go out." And, while it wasn't the best thing to think about, any of them dying, he found it a little amusing. Things were complicated in their lives and at least going out on grease wasn't as torturous as being killed by whatever the hell was out there. "We'll make sure to order your food first, so you can get what you want before Dean cleans them out," he joked as he moved to sit in the booth.

"Oh, don't tempt me," Alice joked lightly, though she'd never actually do anything to the car. She knew how much the Impala meant to Dean and she wouldn't ruin something like that, no matter what. Smiling, she hooked her hand around his arm as they headed inside. "Hamburger, huh? Would you nickname it Burger or Hammy?" She arched a brow, curious. While it was definitely something that they'd probably never get in the life they were in, she still liked the thought of fantasizing the small details.

"Now all I can think of is Dean dying in a bunch of burger wrappers. How Elvis Presley," she laughed, sliding into the booth and snagging the window spot. "Alice and I are gonna have to be really quick. You two are growing boys after all, can't fight evil on an empty stomach." She smiled sweetly at Sam, sat across from him and feeling like a couple of teenagers on a first date. Grabbing the menu, Rosie scanned through and instantly decided on a burger complete with all of the trimmings, and onion rings.

"I like Hammy but Sam might get annoyed at that," Dean was obviously deep in thought about the dog. "Maybe we can nickname it Burgerboy, something cute, you know? And what type of dog would it be?" He asked Alice, squeezing her hand as he led her into the little diner. Dean got into the booth next to Sam, sitting across from Alice. "Hey," He nudged his brother, catching the attention of Rosie, too. "If we got a dog, and called it Hamburger, would it's nickname be Hammy or Burger?" Taking the men from Rosie, Dean scanned through it and caught sight of a burger called The Heart Attack. He grinned. "I've decided."

Sam laughed slightly and nodded. "We know we can count on you two at least," he joked lightly, grinning. Reaching for the other menu, he scanned through, but eventually settled on a salad, since he still preferred to eat healthily, and there weren't many options for that in the bunker, so he would take the chance to eat healthy while he could. After making his decision, he set the menu aside but arched a brow when he heard Dean's question. "A dog? Why are we talking about dogs?" he asked with amusement before shrugging, "I don't know, maybe Burger? So there's no confusion, since you refuse to drop the Sammy nickname?"

"Maybe a Great Dane or a German Shepherd, even a Rottweiler or Doberman. Something that everybody thinks is intimidating, coming with a cute little nickname like Burgerboy," Alice said with a small grin, though she honestly had a preference to the big dogs everybody thought were scary. She'd come across a few in the past and most of them were sweethearts - it just depended on how they were raised. Hearing Dean announce he'd made a decision, she leaned across the table to get a look, though she laughed. "Yeah, that's sure to give you an actual heart attack. Try not to scarf it down," she told him, though she'd decided on a cheeseburger and fries.

"Rottweiler, please," Rosie beamed. "You can nickname it Hammyboy? That'd be cute, and not even remotely close to Sammy." A mischievous grin spread across her face as she looked at Sam. She adored the brothers' back and forth banter. "Burger is too plain for an awesome dog like a Rottweiler." She said. "But then when you tell people that a big scary boy is called Hamburger, they'd love it." She smiled, having thought of domestic life herself, smiling as she envisioned lazy afternoons in the bunker with a dog.

"Hammyboy actually sounds good, but I'd want a Great Dane." Dean looked at Alice. "That way we could be the real Scooby Doo gang!" He said excitedly. A waitress came over with a notepad and pen, and Dean ignored his lover's warnings and blurted out that he wanted The Heart Attack, the biggest burger the joint had to offer. "And a Coke to go with that, please, and do you, uh, do you serve pie?" Dean looked up at the waitress very seriously, despite the disguised laugh of Sam. When the waitress confirmed they had a selection of Pecan, Cherry, and Apple, Dean announced he would have one slice of each.

"Ouch," Sam joked, placing a hand over his heart as he smiled at Rosie and shook his head. "Sure, we can go with Hammyboy." He shrugged, figuring the silly conversation was a nice distraction from what they'd eventually have to get back to - reality. At least their reality wasn't as bad as it used to be, since they now all had each other.

"We could always get one of each," Alice hummed out easily, shrugging, "That way, we could be an upgraded Scooby Doo gang." She grinned over at Dean, but shook her head when he announced that he'd wholly settled on The Heart Attack, though her amusement returned when he ordered a slice of each of the optional pies.

Sam leaned over to tell the waitress his order or a salad and water before he looked back to the others. "Think any of this debate will do us any good?" he asked, arching a brow, "I'm half certain that, if we keep talking about dogs, the moment we get back to the bunker, the girls are gonna go out and get them."

"That's a really great idea, Sam," Alice joked as she ordered her cheeseburger, fries, and coke, before she grinned over to Rosie. "But, if we do agree to two dogs, we'll have to come up with two names."

Rosie ordered her food with a polite smile towards the waitress, adding a Coke to her order. She turned to look at Alice as the waitress walked away to submit their order to the chef. "I highly vote Hammyboy and then, like, a total normal old guy name. Like Herman. Everyone will look at the Grate Dane and Rottweiler and expect serious names like Brute, but then we can introduce them and confuse everyone," she shrugged, looking at the decorative salt and pepper shakers which resembled something her grandmother would own.

Dean looked at Sam. "I mean, what I'd be scared of is the dog, or dogs, chewing Sam's precious laptop charger. Or books." The oldest brother teased the younger boy relentlessly. "I mean, Sam would have a fit if any of the Men of Letters stuff was destroyed." Dean's stomach let out a loud growl, and Dean nodded to himself. "I know buddy, not long now." He patted his stomach to the amusement of Rosie.

"Everybody would think we're ridiculous," Alice said with a small grin, "So, I'm all in on that idea." It seemed like it'd be a great thing overall, even though Alice knew that it was all pretend. There was no way they could actually have dogs - they'd either have to leave them in the bunker for who-knows-how-long, or they'd have to take them with them on the dangerous cases they dealt with. It seemed like too much danger to drag an animal into. Hearing Dean, she looked over, amused, and shook her head.

"Now, that's just cruel," Sam said, arching his brows as he watched his brother for a moment, "It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if you did something wrong or broke something, then turned to blame it on the dogs, though." His tone was joking, of course, but he shook his head, smiling slightly to himself. It seemed like a very fitting picture of his brother overall. "Or maybe we could just all blame anything the dogs did on you, that'd be fun." He laughed to himself, unable to really help it, because if Dean was going to throw joking, lighthearted low blows, he might as well, too.

"Me too," Rosie nodded in agreement with Alice. Her heart twanged with sadness for a brief moment knowing that none of this would become a reality any time soon, but it was a good, lighthearted conversation to get everyone ready for a potentially dangerous case. Hunters tend to get rusty unless they kill something every other day, and the more she thought about it, the more Rosie worried. Pushing the anxiety to the back of her mind, Rosie smiled at the two brothers.

Dean looked half offended, half amused. "I'd totally break the friggin War Room table and blame it on the huge dogs we're planning on getting." He confirmed. "But if any of those whiney dicks broke something, and I got the blame? Shelter time." Dean was obviously joking, but he tried to keep his composure. He suddenly snorted with laughter as their drinks were brought over. "Could you imagine Cas' reaction to a dog? He'd freak. Remember the time he tried to interrogate the cat?"
