Shade had woken alone in his home. The fact startled him, he was expecting to be dead, or captive somewhere. He was unsure what anyone would want with his familiar. He heard faint pleading in the back of his head, trying to catch onto her call, but they were too far apart. Panic started to set in, as he checked his place for clues.

Lee kept circling around her, defensively. "Make your way inside, my love," he messaged softly. He growled a deep feral growl, trying to intimidate the foreign smelling new comers. He raised up onto his hind legs, standing easily 8ft tall. He crashed down onto his paws, stepping closer. He felt a sting on his left side, as a tranquilizer dart buried itself in his side.

Kendra felt weak as she felt the van stop at a place. She had no idea where she was or why she was taken. All she wanted was to be in her master's arms again. Her body was sore but she managed to get up and she started to howl, hoping her master would hear her. Her howl was loud and traveled for miles. She managed to get a few out before something knocked her out again.

Ember felt scared as she watched Lee circle around her. "Lee watch out" she said as one of them pulled out a gun. She felt him go in front of her and heard the shot. "Lee!" she screamed before dropping down, crying. She checked his wounds, seeing it was a dart to put him to sleep. "Please wake up" she said to distracted by her love being shot down so carelessly. She whispered in his ear. "My love please wake up" she whispered softly, tears falling. One of the men mocked her. "Oh lookie there. she is in love with her familiar so cute" he mocked her. She was about to use her power when there was a shot and everything went black.

Shade was stressing himself, it had been so long since he'd been without a familiar. It pained him, he felt weaker. Years back when he first made Kendra, he'd stored away some of his power inside her.
He was worried that maybe that was what whoever had taken her was after. He frowned worried for his love, she would likely be a unimaginable danger.

Lee slept for hours, when he woke he was in a cold dark place, in a cage. He sniffed the air, and could smell the scent of the foreign people all around him. He snapped, getting onto his paws, growling loudly. He didn't recognise where he was, and felt no presence of Ember, she had to be so far away.

Kendra woke up in a cage, next to a bear. She felt scared and alone. The tranquilizer was still affecting her. She didn’t feel Shade anymore which made her more scared, hoping he was alright. Small whimpers started as she curled up in a ball.

Ember woke up to find Lee was gone. She ran inside of her house, anxiety filling her. She was worried that Lee was injuried or worse dead. Lee was her familiar but also her love. She grabbed a few things before leaving, trying to find lee’s trail.

Shade packed away somethings, to help him hunt down his companion, before trashing his home looking for clues to where she could have been taken. He tossed the bed over onto its side, as he check under it, to no avail. As he left the tower he'd been calling home, he was armed with a mangled staff, he hadn't needed for years, it crackled with power.

Lee growled again as he surveyed the room. There was another cage next to his, with a white fox, laying in it. He could sense something odd about the fox, and she smelled strange. He nudged it with his nose, trying to wake it. "Hello," he thought silently.

Ember began to trace Lee but was distracted when she felt a power come through. It felt strange to her, like familiar but strange. Her attention was grabbed and she started to head towards the power source which lead her to a warlock. She quickly hid behind a tree, hoping he didn't see her.

Kendra woke up to something pushing her. She immediately jumped up and got defensive. "Hi" she thought back but still stayed on guard as her beautiful blue eyes watched his every move. When she read the bears energy, she calmed down and walked towards him. There was something about him that drew her to him. Maybe it was because he was like her? she was unsure at the moment.

Shade growled, and unleashed his anger upon one of the trees across the clearing from him. The tree splintered into a million tiny pieces. He looked around at the sky, before smelling the air, hoping to pick up a trace of his beloved. "Kendra, I will find you, I promise," he said to the wind.

Lee sat down, surprised to hear her speak back. He looked around the cage, and out into the darkness. Luckily they were alone. He gave the approximation of a bear smile. "Where are you from?" he asked her in his mind.

Ember continued to watch him. She walked out. “Did you lose someone?” She asked softly, wondering if the same thing happened to him. The warlock was very powerful even more powerful than her. Something drawing her to him.

Kendra listened. “I don’t live far from here” she replied in her mind. “What about you?” She added as she got up moving to smell his scent. She was curious. The only man she had been with was her master.

Shade looked up hearing a voice behind him. He spun around channeling another spell into his hands. His eyes bore into the new arrival, reading her. "You have magic?" he asked calmly, looking around to see if this was some trap. He was skeptical, but relaxed slightly, "my friend was stolen," he said.

Lee shrugged, "I'm not sure, I was drugged, I need to get back to my friend," he said. He looked at the small fox as it approached. He pushed himself against the bars, testing them again. He was missing Ember already.

Ember backed up a little. “Yes. Mine was taken as well” she said, trying to keep her emotions in check. It had been a long time since she had been without Lee, this was hard.

Kendra continued to sniff him, smelling his musk she guessed. “I was taken as well” she said softly with a whine before curling back into a ball. She missed shade so much.

Shade kept his eyes on her, still feeling extremely on guard. He looked at her, "Who was your friend?" he asked. He could sense she had magic, but not like his own

Lee looked back at the small fox, 'I need to get back, she helps me," he said. He was growing more irritable by the second.

Ember watched him. “Lee, he is my familiar” she said softly as she watched him. She was drawn to him for some reason and it bothered her to not know why.

Kendra watched him, seeing him get upset. “I understand that” she said as she stepped closer to the cage. “Just relax. We will get out” she added.

Shade nodded, relaxing slightly. "My familiar was taken also," he said softly. He put his staff down, "so how do you channel your magic?" he asked.

Lee paused looking at her, relaxing only slightly. "You don't understand, without her I'm feral," he said.

Ember watched him. “Nature mostly” she said. She didn’t need a staff for her power. She was a natural witch. She looked him up and down. He was powerful and he could be dangerous but something drew her in.

Kendra watched him relax a bit and subbed. Her eyes wandered around for a moment. She turned into a human and grabbed a blanket, wrapping it around her before walking towards the cage. She reached out and gently began to pet him. She knew she wasn’t Ember but if she could calm him down. That would help them in the long run. She didn’t like being a human in front anyone else but she wanted to help Lee.

Shade sighed softly, "oh joy," he said softly. He moved closer to her, "so let me guess, you're familiar was a natural beast of some kind?" he asked lightly. He was somewhat familiar with natural magic, and knew it generally wasn't as powerful as his, but in the right hands it could be deadly. This witch was surprisingly beautiful.

Lee watched her change form and backed up, "how did you manage that?" he thought loudly. He growled softly, knowing he was stuck in this form without Ember to help him change. He curled up calming slightly as Kendra began petting him softly.

Ember nodded. “Yes he is” she said to him as her eyes traces his face. He was handsome. “what about your familiar?” She then asked softly. Her eyes didn’t move from his face.

Kendra had some magic of her own. Not much and not as powerful as her master. She was able to read people and creatures minds. A soft smile appeared when he relaxed a bit. “I have a little magic not much” she said softly as she continued to pet him.

Shade looked over her, but kept moving trying to track Kendra. He paused, "My familiar..." he began, before considering things, "...it's complicated, I'm a lonely guy, so I made myself a friend, or rather made a deal with her" he admitted.

Lee huffed, and remained curled up against the cage. "Lucky you," he thought. He growled, as he picked up the strange scent again, the one from the woods.

Ember watched him and nodded, understanding. She wondered why he was lonely. He was a very handsome man. “So maybe we should team up and find our familiars?” She then suggested to him. There a something that was drawing her in. Something she had never experienced befor.

Kendra continued to pet him as a naked human girl that was covered with a blanket. She jumped a little when she heard Lee growl. Quickly turning back into a Fox. “Oh come on you beautiful thing you look so sexy as human” the man said with a laugh as he walked to her cage. Kendra started growling at the man.

Shade sighed when she suggested teaming up, he'd never worked with another person before. He thought for a moment, "fine, we can do that, but don't get in my way of punishing those bastards," he said softly. He looked at her, his eyes glowing a deep red color.

He looked at her, "any idea where to start?" he asked.

Lee shifted in his cage, as the man entered the room. He charged at the door, growling loudly. The man chuckled at Lee, "relax, your Mistress bitch will come for you," he said. "That's what we want."
