Hayden crouch down next to her, "okay take it easy, I can help you back to your dorm or wherever," he offered. He looked at her wondering for a moment whether he should tell her.

"I going for some therapy tomorrow, get my head right," he admitted softly.

Baby thought about it for a second before nodding "If you could, that would be great thanks" she told him, figuring it would be better to have him there than a trainer finding her weak and disorientated.

her face flushed slightly as he told her he was going for therapy "Oh...I'm sorry I didn't want to pry" she commented, her voice soft as she glanced down at the ground.

Hayden nodded softly and helped her to her feet, "where did you want to go?" he asked her. He wondered why she wasn't more defensive about taking his help.

He chuckled lightly, "the water is my therapy Baby," he reminded her

"I guess just back to my room, I'm over in the east wing with the gymnasts" she told him, dusting herself off as she stood. "And i guess I should go get my stuff out of the changing room" she laughed softly looking down. The steam had made the usually hidden white scar along her leg more visible, she winced at the sight of it.

Baby rolled her eyes "Ugh, of course it is, you water people are so strange, it's like the waves are your god or something she teased. After grabbing her stuff from the lockers, she pulled on an oversized sweatshirt, which covered her to her upper thigh.

Hayden nodded gently, "okay to your room it is," he said. He walked with her holding her up. He had taken some sneaky glances at her in her bikini, but it wasn't a massive deal to him used to seeing beautiful women in bikini's at the beach all the time.

He held her up slightly walking with her, "Yeah I guess the waves and the swell are sort of religious to me, I mean they have the power to kill you if you don't treat them with respect," he admitted. He made sure to pick up his board on the way again as well.

As Hayden gripped both her and his board to his sides, Baby couldnt help but feel slightly impressed by his muscles. now, given she only weighed about 105Ilbs, she couldn't help but be in awe, she didn't realise sufers needed that much strength.

"And a neck injury can do the same, before you start trying to tell me that 'tramps' are childs play" she quipped, readjusting her arm on his shoulder as she helf herself up, the room still not fully static.

Hayden walked with her, keeping his board steady and steering around the corners with ease. He was glad she still was able to walk.

"Yeah injuries suck, I will admit the flips you were doing were pretty impressive," he commented lightly. He lead her to her dorm building, "want me to help you inside or are you good?" he asked.

Baby glanced at him, her eyes widening Did you, Hayden the surf rat, REALLY just admit that something I did was impressive?" she asked, genuinly surprised after how disregarding he was of her sport earlier.

She shook her head softly, pretty sure she could make it upstairs herself, she was feeling a lot better. Standing up on her tiptoes, Baby tried to place a friendly kiss on his cheek to thank him, but had to settle on his shoulder instead as he was tall compared to her. "Goodnight" she told him softly before heading inside.

Hayden chuckled "I suppose I just did, yes," he said. He still didn't understand how it was a sport, in the olympics, but it was impressive.

He blushed lightly when she kissed his shoulder, "good night, please don't rat me out tomorrow," he commented before letting her go inside. He picked up his board and headed back to his dorm, he get an early start and spend the day at the beach.

Baby winked at him "Mums the word" she teased and buzzed herself in. Hayden had just strangely put her in a good mood, usually she always felt sour after speaking to someone like him. heading in to her room she got ready for bed and pulled out her laptop. She quickly skyped her sister back home and before going to sleep, decided to do a quick google search for Hayden.

She found some videos of him surfing, and had to admit the tricks were pretty cool, she wouldn't ever be able to do it, but she still didn't understand how it warranted Olympic notoriety, it was still just some people floating on a board in the ocean.

Hayden made it back to his dorm, he propped his board up before checking the surf conditions for tomorrow. Once he had figured out which beach he would head to, he climbed into bed. He didn't want to be here, training for the olympics, his parents just wanted him out of the house, wanted him to do more than just surf for fun.

He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the perfect set of waves. In the morning he was up bright and early, he had packed away his things for the day and was leaving campus before sunrise.

Eventually Baby dozed off, her laptop still on her lap, she had hoped to get up early in the morning to hit the gym before anybody else was up.

her alrm began to chime at 5am, and groggily she dragged herself of of bed and dressed in a sports bra and shorts before heading off. As she crossed campus she spotted Hayden heading out with his board and gave a soft wave in his direction.

Hayden was surprised to see Baby up already as he was heading out. He waved back, but didn't bother to stop. He continued to make his way to the beach. He was excited to be heading out for a surf for the first time in ages. He only hoped he wouldn't get in too much trouble for it.

She strolled into the gym, pleased to see that nobody else was around. She stood up on the scales, and realised she had already lost three pounds, at this rate she could push it to 5 by Friday. Happily she hopped up on the threadmill and began to push herself to go faster and faster. She had 2 hours to exercise before training officially began.

Hayden was pleased when he made it to the beach. He stripped off to his boardies, and simply sat on the sand watching the waves. The soft sound of the waves hitting the beach, took him into his own little head space. He made his way out into the water with his board, sure he could spend the whole day in the water.

The day went by uneventfully. Her trainer complimented her on cleaning up her turns, but scolded her for still not having the triple down. "I promise I'll have it by next week Rob, it just takes time" she swore and quickly went back to practising.

Later that evening she sat at dinner, half a breast of chicken and some salad on her plate. Baby looked arounf the Hall, it looked like Hayden still hadn't arrived back.

Hayden had caught several waves, and was enjoying himself out in the water. He hadn't even realised how quickly time was going by, it wasn't until it was beginning to get dark, he headed back in, and made his way back to the Academy.

When he arrived back, the dean of his program was waiting for him, looking seriously pissed.

Baby was making her way back to the steam room again after dinner to detox for a little while, when she saw Hayden standing outside his Dorm building, the Dean looking down on him. She didn't want to draw either of their attention by walking past so stepped into the doorway of one of the other buildings, listening carefully to see if she could pick up on what they were saying.

The Dean was scolding Hayden telling him that he shouldn't be cutting training at the gym to go off surfing. That actually surfing wasn't going to help him get better until he was fitter and showed discipline.

Hayden was pissed, "You realise I've been competing surfing for years right? I needed a break I hadn't been in the water for months, if you knew anything about surfers you'd know we go mental without surfing regularly," he snapped.

The Dean frowned, "Show me some respect, I know how to make winners, If you ever want to surf in this program you would be wise to step into line, or regardless of how much money your parents pay us you'll be gone," he snapped. "Now get that board back to storage," he added before storming off.

Baby took in a deep breath, hoping Hayden didn't think she had ratted him out. She decided to go check if he was okay, following slowly behind as he headed towards the water training facility. "Hayden!" she called out, jogging for a minute to catch up to him.

"I saw what happened with the Dean, are you okay?" she asked him, leaning against the door frame. "He can be a jerk, he doesn't understand what we go through"
