(Me too! I wasn’t sure if the alerts were messing up or not, someone told me they do sometimes)

“A little, I’ll take some water.” Hayley said as she watched him go into the kitchen and came back with drinks for them.

[Nah I was just busy all day. I went shopping with a friend]

Raine got them both a bottle of water then handed her one. He sat with her and took a sip of his water. "Are you going to get in trouble for skipping school?" He asked.

“I’m not sure. I hope not.” Hayley said as she looked at him. “What about you?” She asked as she took a drinkz

Raine shrugged, "i should be alright. I don't do this all the time. Very rarely actually." He explained.

“This is my first time.” Hayley admitted. “Skipping...and watching a movie with a boy..” she sighed.

Raine looked at her, "You really are a rebel aren't you?" He teased her. He smiled, "I'm glad you decided to skip with me." He said.

It had been a couple of weeks since Hayley hung out with Raine and in that time, she had missed her period. She began freaking out and went to the store to buy a pregnancy test one day after school.

When she returned home, she went ahead and took it. She tried to occupy herself for a moment or two but kept checking the test. Her heart dropped whenever she read it. “I’m pregnant..” she said quietly as tears fklled her eyes.

Raine sighed as he walked to his car after basketball practice that evening. He had not heard from Hayley in awhile and he assumed it was because his friends had been mean to her. He got in his car and started towards his house. Raine parked outside, seeing his phone ringing. He was surprised to see Hayley's name. "Hey Hayley. What's up?" He asked as he turned his car off.

“Can you come over? I wanted to talk to you about something but I wanna do it in person.” Hayley said. She was trying not to let it show that she had been crying and hoped he wouldn’t detect it.

Raine started his car, "Yea. i will be over soon." He said. He remembered where she lived because he dropped her off before. "Im on my way." He said before he hung up. He drove to her house then go out, seeing her on the porch. He walked towards her, realizing she was upset. "What's wrong?" He asked her.

Hayley sighed as she looked st him. “Okay...um so I’m pregnant..” she said, looking at him. She hoped he wasn’t mad. “I didn’t find out until today...” she added, preparing to be yelled at.

Raine stared at her when she spoke. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to ask if it was his, but he knew it was. Raine looked at the ground and at her, "Have you told anyone?" He asked. He wondered if she had told her mom. He shook his head, "Im sorry i dont know how to react." He said. He was worried now. Having a kid was a big deal.

Hayley shook her head. “No, I haven’t told anyone but you...I understand if you don’t want to keep it..” she said, sitting down. She personally wouldn’t get an abortion but she didn’t know how he truly felt. She didn’t want to ruin his life.

Raine stared at her, "I don't want to do that." He said. He didn't want her to get an abortion. "Are you going to tell your mom?" He asked her.

“Yes. I’m not sure how she will react though.” Hayley admitted. “I’m sure she will be upset.” She added softly.

Raine nodded, "I can help you tell her if you would like me to." He said. He didn't want her to have to do this on her own. After all it was his baby as well.

Hayley thought for a moment. “If you want, just know my mom is very...I’m not sure the word for it...she doesn’t take things well though so she might get upset..”

Raine nodded, "Which is why I need to be there. I dont want her to hurt you and try to put things in your head." He explained to her. He knew she was freaked out by it.
