Alyssa watched him listening to his words before giving him a nod feeling exhausted. Her curls were starting to come to life as they dried off, adorning her face giving her face more life to it. She took the food taking small little bites as she did so. She paused before asking, "Why are you being so nice now?" She didn't even think if the food was poisoned, but she was too annoyed to care.

Blaze frowned again shaking his head lightly hearing her words, "What the fuck? Why me?" He demanded before shoving the table across the room breathing heavily his head beginning to hurt again, but this time at the new information.

Jace sighed, "Look, I brought you here for a reason." He said. "I need you to be healthy though and I can't have you wanting to die." He said. Jace opened his bottle of water and took a swig of it. Jace rubbed the back of his neck, "For now just eat and drink some water." He said.

Starr frowned as he shoved the table across the room, "They needed you because you knew more than they did." She said as she looked at the files some more. "Plus, it says that they wanted to see if they were able to make you stronger." She said. "I don't understand why they went through all the trouble. Maybe it was because you were part of the original group." She told him.

Alyssa heard his words turning to look at him with a frown. "For a reason?" She questioned leaning back in her chair as she waited for his explanation. She sighed before just nibbling on food and taking sips of her water. She felt eyes on her and frowned again.

Blaze shook his head and muttered, "It's not like they could ask me about it. They still haven't." He pointed out. "If they wanted information, then why haven't they gotten it?" He muttered shaking his head annoyedly. He look back at her and shook his head. "I'm going to found out."

Jace sighed when she looked at him, "Look, I can't tell you until I know you are ready." He said. He knew that it was important that she was in good health.

Starr got down from the desk and began to search through some more of the papers. "I am sure there is more here about it." She said as she pulled out some more files. She pulled out a little file that was hidden in the back. She opened it to see there was info about the infection. She looked at Blaze and offered it to him.

Alyssa narrowed her eyes freezing before dropping the food and pushing it away. She crossed her arms over her chest stubbornly. "I will not eat anything else unless you tell me what the hell is going on here." She hissed before finally getting sick of the staring and swiveling her head to look at the onlookers. "Got a problem?" She growled irritated by the whole damn situation.

Blaze frowned and shook his head when she offered it to him. "I won't understand what the fuck it says, better if you read it and translate." He sighed rubbing the portion of skin between his eyes.

Jace chuckled when she got all fired up, "Its cute that you think you have say in what I tell you. You can either eat or i can force feed you. Or we can just put you in a coma and not have to deal with you at all." He said as he narrowed his eyes. "No eat." He said.

Starr nodded, "Okay." She said softly. She pushed a strand of her hair out of her face then looked at the paper. "So basically this is the formula for the serum that started the disease. I think since this one piece is the same as the cure means that they figured out a way to use the infection serum to make a cure as well." She explained. Starr looked up at him, "Does that makes sense?" She asked.

Alyssa watched him hearing his words before dropping her fork and sitting back from the table. "Fine." She replied knoowing for a fact that she was going to get what she wanted this time whatever it took. She was sick of being just a doll for him to throw around and use.

Blaze nodded his head, "Yeah, but I don't get what that has t do with me." He said stubbornly needing someone to spell it out for him, especially since his head felt like it wasa on fire.

Jace chuckled, "Okay." He said. He moved his finger slightly then watched as a guy moved behind Alyssa ans stuck a needle in her neck. He smirked as he got up and walked over to her. "That should make you calmer." He said, seeing that it was already taking affect on her.

Starr bit her bottom lip lightly, "They brought you back so they could test it one someone. They also brought you back because they needed someone who was stronger enough to attack my compound." She said. "plus, you know a lot about the original strand of the serum that caused the infection. They needed you for information." She said. She began to look through the desk, finding another piece of paper about Blaze. "This says your headaches are a side effect from coming back from the dead that should go away over time. Its because your brain wasnt active for so long." She said as she looked over the paper.

Alyssa frowned at him. She saw his finger move, going to get up, but she wasn't quick enough. She felt a needle go into her neck wincing as she cried out in pain having not expected it. She watched him get up and walk to her and felt dizzy all of a sudden. She didn't like this. She shook her head, raising her hands putting them on his chest trying to push him away but all they did was stay there as she tried to not fall over.

Blaze listened to her acutely. "They used me." He knew that all along, but he never realized the full extent. "Yeah? What about the rest of the shit?" He demanded before he heard someone coming down the hall. "BE quiet." He hissed before pulling her close to him as they hid in the corner. He wasn't focused on her, he was focused on listening to the person in the hallway his eyes narrowed. One hand was on her lower back and the other on her shoulders.

Jace picked her up and carried her to one of the rooms. He strapped her to the bed then got someone to hook and IV up to her. He sat down as he let them make sure she got the vitamins she needed. She would wake up in a few hours.

Starr quit talking and felt Blaze pull her close to him. Her body pressed against his as they heard someone walking. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she stared held the paper still in her hands. Maybe he really wasnt a bad guy.

Alyssa fell limp in his arms unable to really do anything. She felt him strap her to the bed. She lost consciousness before her body started to seize, not reaction well to whatever they had injected her with. She started to foam at the mouth.

Blaze heard the door open shuffling a little so Starr was behind him not needing someone to see her first and get spooked. He watched from the shadows as someone entered his eyes adjusting to the dark quickly making out a face. He rushed forward getting him into a headlock. "Doctor?" He asked needing to make sure he didn't hurt the wrong person.

Jett got up and watched as the doctors and nurses rushed to treat her. Perhaps she was allergic to what they had given her. He was glad they were able to save her. they needed her. He watched as her eyes opened a few hours later. he held a needle up, "We are going to try something." He said.

Starr watched as Blaze put the guy in a headlock, but she didnt move from her spot. The way the moonlight hit her face made her almost look identical to her mother. She stepped out when the doctor finally spoke up.

"Oh fuck get off of me Blaze." He said, seeing Starr step out. "What is she doing in here?" He snapped.

After a few hours, Alyssa woke up again and winced at her head feeling it pounding. She fluttered her eyes open looking around groggily. She saw Jace above her with a needle and screamed cold bloody murder having not woken up all the way and he looked like a murderer. She struggled against everything eventually breaking the IV machine as she fought against her restraints.

Blaze heard him speak his eyes on the doctor the whole time. "I'm not fucking around, Paul. Tell me what the fuck I'm doing here and NOW." He growled before he pushed him back against the wall holding him there. "Don't look at her, look at me." He snapped back.

Jace placed his hand on her shoulder to calm her down. "Stop it." He said. "Now here is the experiment. This little needle has the virus in it. The one on the table is the cure. We are going to inject you to see if it works." He said, smirking. He knew it would but he also knew it would scare her. "Maybe be nice to me or i wont cure you." He said.

Paul looked at Blaze, "Look we brought you back because of everything you know. We also knew you would be a good test subject for the serum." He said.

Alyssa scooted away from him as much as she could finally seeing it was Jace. Her face hardened before she said, "Fuck you." She turned her face away not caring. "At least when I get the virus, i'll be away from you." She hissed at him. She spit in his face.

Blaze glowered at them before he got close to his face. "I'm no one's monkey. Now, what the fuck is wrong with me?" He asked dropping him and backing up, but still in front of Starr his broad back tense.

Jace chuckled as she spit on him then wiped it away. He slapped her, "I guess you will find out then won't you. I'm told the infection feels like a burning." He said as he injected her neck. He chuckled as he watched her, then threw the needle away.

Paul frowned, "There is nothing wrong with you. Your body is just..adjusting to being back." He said.

Starr frowned as she stood behind Blaze when he was talking to the doctor. She could tell he was really worried and she was trying to read the doctor. He seemed to be telling the truth.

Alyssa winced when he slapped her and just turned away feeling the throbbing on her cheek. She felt the needle go in but closed her eyes gritting her teeth beginning to feel the effects. She kept silent refusing to make a noise of pain for him.

Blaze narrowed his eyes listening to him. "Then fix it." He snapped. "It's not normal for someone to think they're somewhere else and then not fucking remember it. Tell him, Starr." He said not remembering what had happened. He kept his body between them, but leaned a little so they could look at one another.

Jace sighed as he watched her and grabbed the cure. He stared at her, "Well now we wait." He said. He looked at the needle in his hand as he watched her expression. He bit his bottom lip lightly, seeing her pulse pick up on the screen.

Starr bit her bottom lip lightly when he said for her to tell the doctor. "He went like back in time and didn't know what was going on." She explained what had happened.

Paul frowned, "I can do a CT scan and see if anything has changed in your brain activity. We can do it tomorrow, but I am sure your brain is just healing." He explained.

The pain was excruciating as it flowed through her body her white blood cells working in overtime to kill the virus. She couldn't help but move, but kept her mouth shit ignoring him and shutting her eyes so she didn't have to see him holding the needle.

Blaze frowned, "Do it tonight." He commanded knowing he could kill him anytime he wanted to. HE was going to get what he wanted.

Jace chuckled as he watched her, "Maybe you should just let out how you are feeling." He said. He held the needle up, "Do you want the cure?" He asked.

Paul frowned, "Okay we can do it." He said, "follow me." He said as he walked to the room with the machine. Paul looked at Blaze, "Go ahead and lay down." He said.

Starr watched as the doctor turned on the machine and looked at Blaze. She was hoping that everything would be okay.
