Fire In The Hole. [closed]

Jace frowned as he watched her sleep. He left her there then headed to his room. There was another village they had to destroy. He knew it was going to be a lot easier. He had a nagging headache though.

Starr was not expecting the words that came from his mouth in that moment. She shook her head, "Blaze, please stop it. You aren't there anymore." She said. It was scary to see the fear on his face. She moved slightly closer to him as she tried to help him. "Close your eyes okay?" She whispered.

Alyssa slept there for hours until the light began to filter into the cell. She sat up looking around before realzing where she was. She refused the food they brought her, not caring how hungry she got. She would not eat.

Blaze looked at her hearing her words shaking his head. "You aren't Rosa. Where is she!?" He demanded fear beginning to creep into his face as he did so. He looked around wildly before seeing her move closer. He shook his head moving back. "Who are you!?" He yelled not knowing what was going on.

Jace came downstairs and stood in front of Alyssa's cell. "So, you aren't eating now?" He asked. "Why is that?" He asked her. He knew she would eat eventually.

Starr gasped as he yelled at her. "I'm Starr. Blaze please just calm done. Everything is okay." She said. She didn't move away from him, "You are just confused okay?" She whispered. She felt bad for him. She ran her fingers through his hair as her blue eyes met his, the necklace that was once his dangling from her neck.

Alyssa ignored him. She kept her back to him, her clothes torn and her body dirty from havng spent days in the wilderness without a bath. She pulled her knees to her chest.

Blaze glared at her shaking his head hearing her words. "Starr?" He asked confused more than anything before he saw his necklace around her neck and grabbed it staring at it. "Why do you have this?" He asked his voice getting quiet. "This is Rosa's. WHERE IS SHE!?" He demanded standing up glaring down at her, a switch in his brain turning on as he got angry.

Jace stepped into her cell and grabbed her. "Answer me!" He screamed. He pulled her to her feet. The girl needed a shower and some new clothes."Come on." He said as he drug her out.

Starr got really afraid as he got up. She looked up at him, seeing how pissed he was. "I'm her daughter. Please just listen to me. This isn't what you think it is." She said to him. She was scared he might actually kill her. Tears rolled down her cheeks, making her look like her mom more. She hated crying in front of him, but she couldn't take anymore. Her life had been a lie this whole time.

Alyssa felt him grab her, but raised her head to look at him feeling lifeless and didn't want to be there. She felt him pull her to her feet before dragging her out of the cell and just let him not feeling strong enough to stop him.

Blaze heard her words blinking confused, "H-her daughter?" He asked shaking his head feeling like his head might explode. He screamed grasping his head again and falling to the floor again. He soon started to feel it stop and looked around before he saw Starr crying, "Why are you crying?" He muttered confused rubbing his head feeling like he had just been through an ordeal. "God it hurts." He moaned.

Jacr frowned as he walked her somewhere she could get cleaned up. "Go. Take a shower and get dressed." He said to her. He was irritated that she was shutting down.

Starr wiped her tears away when he seemed to go back to normal. "You just...had a meltdown. You started talking about stuff from a long time ago." She whispered before she got up. She climbed into the bed and tried to get comfortable.

Alyssa wrenched her arm from his grasp after he had stopped before crossing her arms turning her back on him. She definitely wasn't going to get a shower with him just standing there. She knew her hair needed to be washed, and her face was covered in various dirts and grime. Her face was masked in filth.

Blaze frowned raising an eyebrow at her. "What the hell are you talking about?" He asked her confused as he stared at her, eyebrows knitted into a crease.

Jace glared at her, "What you don't want to go use an actually shower?" He asked. He knew she would give in eventually. Clearly, she would need to take a shower. "Look you either go yourself or I will have to make you go. I don't think you want me to be the one to have to drag you in there and wash you myself." He snapped at her. He had tried to be nice about it, but she was pissing him off.

Starr leaned against the wall with the blankets over her lap. He really did have something wrong with him and it scared her. "You asked me where my mom was." She whispered. "Then you yelled at me and thought she was still here." She told him. "It was like you were back in time or something." She explained. She was worried he was going to hurt her.

Alyssa watched him before giving a sigh. She figured she could do with a shower. "Just leave clothes at the door and when I get out I'll put them on." She muttered before going into the room slamming the door in his face. She leaned back against the door before feeling the tears falling again. She sobbed biting down on the fabric on her shirt to hide the heart wrenching noises, but the shirt didn't hide enough as some sound still came out. She sniffed before shakily taking off her clothes. She had lost so much weight, that her ribs were laid out against her skin. She threw the clothes onto the ground before getting into the water. She leaned against the wall hanging on as if she would fall if she didn't. She scrubbed every inch of her body.

Blaze watched her confused before he shook his head and muttered, "I don't remember." He heard her other words frowning. He stood up before grabbing her arm. "Come with me." He said before going down the hallway searching each door for their names before coming to a halt in front of the door of the main doctor that had brought him back. He slammed on the door so hard a dent formed in the metal as he kept it up until he got an answer.

Jace smirked when he kind of won. He got her some clothes and set them out for her. He sat down in one of the chairs and waited for her to get out. He didn't think that he could trust her enough to let her unattended. He crossed his arms as he watched the door crack open a little later. He knew that she was going to be pissed to see him.

Starr was kind of scared when he grabbed her arm, but she followed him anyway. She stopped when they got to the door. she jumped when he hit the door. When they didn't get an answer she looked at him. "Hold on." She said. She managed to get the door open, revealing the empty office. Starr looked at Blaze, "What do you want to know?" She asked as she found a filing cabinet. She had stolen files before when she wanted the truth and she would do it again.

Alyssa finished washing all the grime from her body before beginning to wash her violet curls making sure to get every ounce of dirt from her hair as well. She conditioned it before wrapping herself in a fluffy towel her body red from being scrubbed. She cracked the door ever so slightly before grabbing the clothes ignoring Jace completely. She slipped into the shirt which hung off her body showing how skinny she really had gotten before getting on the sweatpants having to tie it as tight as she could with the drawstring to keep them hoisted on her hips. She stepped out of the bathroom her face glowing from being clean.

Blaze slammed on the door again before stopping hearing Starr. He let her do her thing before growling seeing no one there. He blinked hearing Starr before saying, "Everything they have on me and what the hell they did." He crossed his arms determined to get answers since he was in the dark about what had happened to him.

Jace looked at her, "Do you want something to eat yet?" He asked her. He could tell she was losing weight and that wasn't good. He knew that she would get sick if she didn't eat. "You need to come up to eat with me." He said. He got up and walked over to her, "What do you want to eat?" He asked.

Starr nodded then picked the lock on the filing cabinet. She began to search through the files til she found Blaze's file. It was so huge. She walked over to the desk, hoping up on it. She looked down at the file and began to go through all the papers. Starr looked over at Blaze and she could tell he was freaked out. She showed him some of the papers. She began to look at the the medical records that they had. She frowned when she got to some pictures of him when they had pulled his body out. "What the fuck." She breathed.

Alyssa shrugged lightly knowing she wasn't that hungry to begin with. She figured she could make this go on forever if she didn't eat. She figured she would die as well before anything else could happen to her. Hearing his words, she glanced up and sighed shaking her head lightly. "Nothing." She replied grabbing her arm in her left hand just holding on as she watched him.

Blaze watched her go through the files frowning at how big his was. He took it and started to read frowning as he did so reading what kind of experiements they had done on his body. He heard her whisper, looking over seeing a photo of his body. "Great. At least I didn't make anyone go through that." He muttered more to himself than anything else.

Jace glared at her, "Look you need to come eat." He said. "If you don't then you are going to get sick." He said. He sighed as he looked down at her, "How about pizza?" He asked.

Starr frowned as she looked down at the picture, before she pulled some more papers out. She frowned when she found a formula they used to make Blaze's blood the cure to the infection. "Oh my god." She whispered. He was immune to the disease and they planned to make everyone in their compound immune. "Blaze." She said, showing it to him.

Alyssa saw his glare and sighed shaking her head again. She wasn't going to go anywhere with him if he just glared at her the whole time. Hearing his words, she shrugged lightly. "I don't want to eat." She murmured stretching and yawning. She just wanted to sleep in a bed.

Blaze read through the file confused on how these people knew everything about him. He looked up hearing Starr taking the paper his brow furrowing. "What the fuck does this mean?" He asked knowing he wasn't the smartest when it came to paper.

Jace frowned, "You have to eat." He snapped. "Look just eat something small okay?" He told her. "I will let you sleep then." He said.

Starr looked at the paper work, "It means that you are the cure and they tested it on you to see if they could make all of them immune to the infection." She said. "That is why you didn't get sick in the woods." She said to him. She could tell that it was all confusing him.

Alyssa sighed hearing him snapping at her again before just nodding her head. "Fine." She muttered before waiting for him to start walking before following him there. She sat down once there and leaned back against her chair.

Blaze frowned hearing her words, "How are they going to test it though? If I was the cure, why did they have me kill people?" He demanded sitting down in front of her waiting for her explanation.

Jace got her something to eat then set the food in front of her. "Do you want something to drink?" He asked before he sat down. He knew that she was was probably parched. He got her some water and leaned back against the chair.

Starr looked at the paper work, "You weren't the cure before. They put something in your blood when they brought you back. It seems to be some kind of serum that they wanted to test." She explained to him. "They probably were going to test it once you brought me back, but since they realized you healed in the woods they probably won't do that anymore." She told him. "It will be okay though Blaze." she told him.

Alyssa watched him listening to his words before giving him a nod feeling exhausted. Her curls were starting to come to life as they dried off, adorning her face giving her face more life to it. She took the food taking small little bites as she did so. She paused before asking, "Why are you being so nice now?" She didn't even think if the food was poisoned, but she was too annoyed to care.

Blaze frowned again shaking his head lightly hearing her words, "What the fuck? Why me?" He demanded before shoving the table across the room breathing heavily his head beginning to hurt again, but this time at the new information.
