"You were always my best friend, Namjoon. That will never change." She said then snuggled closer to him, feeling herself starting to fall asleep. She noticed when she was coming down from her heroin high, that it tend to make her tired, plus after having sex with Namjoon causes her to be tired as well. "Good night Namjoon." She breathed out softly before drifting off to sleep.

It was 3 am and Taehyung had been walking alone in the middle of the night for a few hours. He was covered with new bruises and cuts, that he received from his father after getting into another fight. Once his father had left after beating him, Taehyung took off, not paying any attention to where he was going, but now it's starting to rain cats and dogs and he needed to find a place to stay so he wouldn't get sick. Taehyung looked up to see what street he was on and realized that he was a few houses down from Namjoon and Mina's place. He sprinted to their place and began banging on the door, hoping that the tow were there and would open the door.

"Yeah let me go check up on him." Yoongi said and stood up. He unlocked the door to his hidden room and went into the guest room that Jungkook was sleeping in. Yoongi saw Jungkook tossing and turning, while crying. Yoongi sat on the bed and held Jungkook still. "Kook, wake up. It's me Yoongi." He said to him.

Namjoon was about to fall asleep when he heard the banging. He stood up and pulled some pants on before going to the door. “Taehyung, what are you doing out here?” He said, dragging the younger boy into the house. “You’re soaked...what happened?” He asked as he flipped the lights on and frowned. “Your dad did this?” He asked softly.

Jungkook woke up suddenly. “Hyung!” He screamed out and clung to Yoongi. “I had another nightmare...about my dad...when he...when he killed my mom..” he sobbed softly.

Taehyung nodded and slid down to the ground, bringing his knees to his chest and hanging his head low. He began crying, the fight between him and his dad earlier was the worst that it has ever been. "I want to kill my father." He said wiping his tears away, "I don't want him to exist anymore after all the pain he caused me and my mom."

Mina woke up to her hearing Namjoon talking to someone. She got up and put on one of Namjoon's shirts on before heading to find him. She walked towards the entry way of the apartment and saw Namjoon talking to Taehyung who was soaking wet. "Oh my Taehyung, you're all wet and cold." Mina said as she crouched down to him and felt his head. "Namjoon, take V to the bathroom so he can take a hot shower and so I can clean hits cuts." She said to her best friend then looked at Taeyhung, "I'm going to bring you a pair of dry clean clothes and I'll fix up the pull out couch so you can sleep here for the night. " Mina kissed his forehead and then helped him up, letting Namjoon lead him to their bathroom.

"I'm here. take deep breaths" Yoongi said softly, rubbing his back "In and out, in and out." He repeated to help calm Jungkook's breathing down. It pained him to see that the younger boy was still having this nightmare, but it was a traumatic event in Jungkook's life that will forever haunt him. "Rina and I are about to go to bed soon, you can stay with us, if it will make you feel better." Yoongi suggested.

“I know you feel that type of way but if you get caught, you could go to jail. I don’t want to lose you, man. You’re my best friend, next to Mina. Just think it through okay? We’re all here for you.” Namjoon said as he led Taehyung to the bathroom. “Take a shower. I’ll get the couch ready for you to sleep on.” He said, kissing the younger boys forehead before leaving the bathroom and letting him have some privacy.

Jungkook nodded. “Please?” He said softly and wiped his tears. He followed Yoongi to his room where Rina was already at. She looked up as the two boys came in. “Aww Jeon....come here.” She said, holding her arms out for him. He ran over to her and threw himself onto her, hugging her. She rubbed his back, holding him close. “Shhhh you’re safe with Yoongi and I...we’re not going to let anything happen to you, okay?” She said, kissing his forehead.

Mina brought clean clothes to Taehyung before getting the couch ready for him to sleep on. Soon Taehyung came out of the bathroom and hugged both Mina and Namjoon. "Thanks for letting me crash here and being for being nice." He said as then laid down.. Mina smiled softly and leaned down to kiss his cheek. "You're welcome Hun, you know that you received always welcomed." Mina told the young boy.

Yoongi took off his shirt and shoes before climbing into the bed. He immediately held Rina close to him, which also means that Jungkook was close to him. He closed his eyes and began drifting off to sleep.

Namjoon smiled. “Get some sleep, Taehyung.” He told the younger boy. He made sure he was comfortable before shutting the lights off and locking the front door again. He took Mina’s hand and led her back to his room. “It’s late, we should go to bed.” He told her as he stripped back to his boxers.

Jungkook moved to the other side of Yoongi, so he wouldn’t be completely crushing Rina, but he reached across and reached for her hand. She gave him his hand to hold and the two of them drifted off to sleep cuddled up to Yoongi.

Mina nodded and climbed into the bed she shared with Namjoon, she immediately felt him pulling her close to him not letting her go. She smiled to herself and fell asleep.

Mina woke up the next day around noon, due to the sun rays glaring on her skin. She saw that Namjoon still had his arms wrapped around her was lightly snoring against her neck. Mina smiled and quickly left a small kiss under his chin, before quickly leaving his grasp. She didn't want to wake him up since Namjoon needed his sleep. Mina made her way to the kitchen to make herself some tea and some toast. She took the tea pot from the cabinet, filled it up with water and put it on the stove to heat up, she then went into the pantry to pick out the tea she wanted.

Yoongi looked at both Rina and Jungkook, who were now sleeping peacefully and feeling safe. He sighed, but smiled slightly. He was honored that the two of them confided in him with their own personal demons and that they felt safe around him. But he wished that he had a similar relationship with someone, so that he didn't have to face his demons alone. Yoongi pushed away anxious feeling that he has been dealing with lately and drifted off to sleep.

Taehyung woke up the next morning and made his way into the kitchen, surprised to see Mina up so early. “Morning unnie..” He said softly before sitting down in one of the chairs. His whole body hurt from his beating last night and the thought of wanting his father dead was still on his mind.

Rina woke up the next morning and untangled herself from Yoongi and Jungkook. She quietly crept out of the room and headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast for the boys. She was still concerned about V so she decided to text him.

Are you still upset with me? she sent to him, hoping he’d st least reply.

Mina looked at him and smiled softly. "Morning Taehyung? Are you hungry or thirsty? Do you want me to check your wounds?" She asked him. "Have you and Rina made up yet?" She asked him some more as quickly whipped up some breakfast for him.

Yoongi woke up shortly after, once he felt Rina leave his arms. Yoongi smiled as he saw Jungkook still sleeping peacefully. He pulled the covers up to Jungkook:s upper body before leaving the room to find Rina so that Jungkook could get as much sleep as he can.

Taehyung nodded, “hungry...if you want.” He said when she mentioned checking his wounds. He searched his pockets for his phone and then remembered he was wearing Joon’s clothes. “Have you seen my phone around? I was going to check and see if she texted me.” He said as he stood up and went to find his clothes from the night before.

He found his phone and saw the one new message from Rina. He sat down on the couch as he opened it. He sighed and quickly replied. No.

Rina was in the middle of making pancakes whenever Yoongi came in and her phone went off at the same time. She placed the bowl on the counter as she grabbed her phone, seeing V’s text.

Want to get together later today for lunch and talk? Just the two of us.

“Morning Yoongi.” She said, turning to look at him. “I made us some tea,” she said, pointing to the three mugs that had steeped tea in them, “is Jeon still sleeping?”

Mina checked his bandages the wounds were starting to heal properly. She changed the bandages that with old blood so that he has clean. "There you go, now I'll make us some breakfast." Mina smiled and began cooking.

Yoongi kissed her forehead before sitting down in one of the empty chairs. "Yeah Jungkook is still sleeping. I'm letting him sleep as long as he can." He said to her before taking a sip of his tea.

“Rina wants to go to lunch so we can talk. What do you think I should do?” Tae asked Mina as he sat down and sipped a bottle of water. “I’m still upset about her not liking me..” he admitted.

Rina smiled and went back to the cooking. “I’m making us some pancakes...” she said as she continued mixing the batter. “I texted Taehyung.” She said as she checked the pan on the stove.

"I definitely think you two should talk. I know being rejected doesn't feel good, but that doesn't mean that you aren't important to Rina. Hear her out." Mina said then smiled when she saw Namjoon walking into the kitchen only wearing his sweatpants, which were hanging low. She walked up to Namjoon and kissed his cheek before finishin making breakfast for them.

Yoongi looked up at her, "is everything between you two okay now?" Yoongi asked while stirring his tea around with a spoon. "I don't know what to do help Jungkook, his nightmares are beginning to become worst and happening more often then not." He said, sighing softly

Taehyung looked down whenever Namjoon came in and began interacting with Mina. Most would say he was jealous of his friends and they were probably right. “You two don’t know how lucky you are to have each other.” He said, before sighing. He only meant to think that, not say it out loud.

Namjoon walked over and sat across from him. “Have you thought about what you told me last night?” He asked. Tae typed a message to Rina before looking up. “Yes and the answer is still yes.” He said. Namjoon sighed. “I can’t stop you but I wish you would think it through.”

Rina looked at him. “Wasn’t he on some medication last year? For this exact thing?” She asked Yoongi. “I thought I remember him being on something for his nightmares.”

Mina went to hug Taehyung, "I do know lucky lucky I am to have Namjoon, he's my best friend and the person who practically saved my life. You can have that with Rina. I know that you want her to love you like the way you love her, but you can still be her hero, her role model. She tells me all the time that she wishes that she could be brave as you." Mina told him and patted his back. She went back to finish cooking breakfast for them.

Yoongi nodded, "He was, but either he ran out and hasn't been able to get a refill, or his prescription isn't strong enough." He said then took a sip of his tea. "I'll try to figure out something to help him with these nightmares. I just don't want to take him to the doctors, because I don't think they are going to help and he is terrified of doctors."

“She said that?” Taehyung asked, tears clouding his eyes. “Yeah man, she’s always talking about how she wishes she could stand up to her dad like you stand up to yours...look, I know how it feels to be rejected, we all do...everyone of us has been rejected by someone we’ve loved once in our lives...except maybe Jin...he’s the only stable one out there...my point is, you can have a relationship with Rina, it may not be the one you want, but you two can be the best of friends, just like us and just like Mina and I.” Namjoon said. “Don’t ever think none of us aren’t here for you or don’t love or care about, okay? You’re our Tae Tae. All of us have practically raised you and Kookie...and none of us would change that ever.” He said.

“Do you blame him? They tried to kill him last time. Jimin told me what happened when Jin took him to the doctors that last time.” Rina sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. “My step mom works at a pharmacy, maybe I can talk to her and try to get her to give me something for Jungkook.” She said, picking up the cooked pancakes and putting them on a plate.

"Namjoon is right Take Tae. We all love you and we will continue to love you no matter what. Never be afraid to come to us for help or anything, because we're family, and family help each other out." Mina smiled and put a plate down in front of him with eggs, bacon, and toast. She kissed the side of Taehyung's head, before giving Namjoon his plate. Mina fixed her own plate and began eating trying to subside the urge to get high. She didn't want Taehyung or Namjoon see her shoot up heroin, especially Namjoon because he would flip.

Yoongi looked at her, "I don't know if that's a good idea. I think asking her should be the last resort. I'll figure something out." He said took a couple bites of the pancakes, "But if it comes down to asking her, then I want to be there when you do, just incase something bad goes wrong." He said, still picking at his pancake. The two sat in silence for 10 minutes before they heard footsteps walking near them. Yoongi looked up and saw that Jungkook was leaning against the wall. "Hey look, come join us for breakfast and tea." Yoongi said and waved him over.
