"I promise you, I'm fine. I'm sure it was just a muscle spasm" Mina said as she let go of her arm now since it's no longer in pain. She sighed and got up, "Sorry for the scare...I hope it doesn't cancel our lunch date." Mina said, trying to change the subject and keep him distracted from her arm.

Taehyung smiled weakly before looking down. "I'm only brave when I need to be." He said then grab her hands, "You are brave, you protecting Akira from your dad is brave, Rina. Don't ever think so little of yourself. You're a beautiful person, and I'm lucky to have you in my life." He admits and rubbed his thumbs across her knuckles.

Namjoon smiled. “Of course not, let’s get ready to go.” He said and got up, going to put his shoes on. “I’m ready whenever you are.” He smiled and pulled his hoodie on.

Rina smiled. “Thank you Tae...I hope one day we’ll both be free of our father’s. I’m just waiting until Akira goes to university...I’m too scared to leave her now, because I know my dad will turn on her.” She sighed.

Mina smiled and put on her converse high tops on and her black open cardigan on, before following Namjoon out. While they were walking to the restaurant, Mina looked at Namjoon and grabbed one of his hands and laced their fingers together. She felt him bring her closer to his side. Mina loved how he treated her like she was his girlfriend and she wished that they could be a couple, but she needed to fix things with herself first. "Do you sometimes wish we did things differently?" Mina asked him out of the blue.

Taehyung smiled softly, "We will be. Hopefully sooner than later. I don't want you have to wait that long to escape him. You deserve so many good things in your life Rina, more so than you give yourself credit for."

“No, I don’t regret anything we’ve done, it’s brought us closer together. Meeting you, Rina and the guys was the best part of my life. We’re our own little family, all of our real families have pretty much turned their backs on us and we have each other and it’s beautiful.” Namjoon said.

“Thank you Tae, so do you.” Rina smiled. She looked up as the waitress came and pretty soon their food was ordered. “So, when Yoongi and Nami get off work tonight, we could all gather at the warehouse again and just let loose?” She smiled.

Mina smiled and leaned in to kiss his cheek. "I agree with you. You've been my family from the beginning Namjoon." She said as she began to remember when they met at 8 years old. It was recess time at school and Mina was on the swings by herself. Then all of a sudden a group of mean boys surrounded her and pushed her off the swings, teasing her about how her mom died and that how she and her dad were poor. But then Namjoon came to stop them from hurting her, and from then he swore to protect her from harm and to this day, he had kept that promise. "You're such a dad, but I love you for it." Mina teased him before leaning up to kiss the side of his jaw.

Tae smiled at her words, then told the waitress what he wanted to eat before looking at Rina. "Yeah, I think we all need it." He agreed with her.

Namjoon smiled. “I don’t regret that or that suspension.” He chuckled. “And a year later I did it again when Rina was getting teased.” He said. Despite Rina being older than Jungkook, she was the last one added to their group of friends when they were all in elementary school. “You and Rina are like the sisters I never had.” He said softly.

Rina smiled. “I’ll send a text to the group chat.” She said. She opened her phone and found their group message.

Warehouse party tonight after Nami and Yoongi get off work??? she sent to everyone.

Mina nodded. They arrived to the restaurant and quickly sat down and ordered their food and drinks. She felt her phone vibrate and saw the text from Rina and smiled. She texted back that she was in, before facing Namjoon. She held his hands in hers, lacing their fingers together. She saw the love for her in his eyes, and she was hoping that he could see the same in her eyes. Mina was about to say something to him, but a strange looking man came up to their table, she quickly. The man looked at Mina, before looking at Namjoon. "We gotta talk man, it's important." The guy said then looked at Mina again briefly. "Privately." Namjoon began to get up but Mina stopped him, "I'll go. I have to go to the ladie's room anyways." Mina said then excused herself.

The man eye's roamed her body before focusing on Namjoon. "That's a nice piece of ass you got yourself there Namjoon. You willing to share her?" Hwan smirked then folded his arms, "Anyways, You need to come in early, we just received a bigger shipment of coke and heroin than we had planned on getting and we need to sell all of it tonight."

Tae smiled then look at her, "Do you forgive me for the way I was acting last night? I really don't want us to fight anymore."

“No,” Namjoon said and sighed. “Alright, I’ll be in as soon as I can, and stop eyeing my girl like that. She isn’t interested in someone like you.” He said. He looked up as Mina came back. “See you later Hwan.” Namjoon said as his boss left. “Sorry about that.” He told Mina.

“Yes but you understand why I can’t date you right? You’re like a big brother to me, Tae.” Rina said as she held his hand.

Mina nodded and sat back down, watching Hwan leave. "Is everything okay? And who was that?" She asked Namjoon. She has never seen the man before, but from the look of it she could tell Namjoon and this guy have known each other for a bit.

Taehyung nodded, "I do and it's fine. I rather be a big brother to you, than to not have you in my life at all." He admits. He soon felt his phone vibrate, receiving a text from Namjoon. Sorry to cut your lunch date with Rina, but I need my car soon. My boss needs me to come in early. Taehyung sighed, but understood. He was grateful that Namjoon let him use the car. "We have to go soon Rina, Namjoon needs his car so he can go to work."

“My boss. I don’t know how he found out I was here, but anyways, he wants me to come into work early so we’re going to have to head back home after we eat, hopefully Tae will be back with my car by then.” Namjoon said.

“It’s fine, I didn’t order much, shouldn’t take me long to eat.” Rina said and did a little dance as their food came. “Thanks for bringing me to lunch, oppa.” She smiled as she sipped her kimbab in soy sauce.

"We can order it to go, just so you're not rushing." Mina suggested as she rubbed her arm. "Do you think we can get high together after you get off work and before we go to the warehouse tonight? We haven't gotten high together in a bit, and I just want us to have our little Namjoon and Mina time first." She asked softly, so that no one could hear them.

Taehyung nodded and began to eat his kimbab also, while silently contemplating on what to do about his father. He wanted to still kill him, but Namjoon's words keep crossing his mind.

“Of course babe, to both.” Namjoon chuckled. When the waitress came, they placed their orders for to go and then Namjoon paid for it. “Ready to go?” He asked her as they got their stuff.

Rina kept quiet as she ate. She finished a few minutes later. “Okay, done. That was good as usual.” She smiled as she waited for Tae to finish.

Mina smiled and nodded, she held his free hand as they made their way home. Once they got home, Mina took the food to the kitchen so that Namjoon could get ready for work

"It was." Tae said with a smile as he finished his food. He pulled out enough money to pay for the bill and to tip the waitress. "Come on, let me take you home and so i can drop off Namjoon's car."

Namjoon headed to the room to get dressed then came back out to eat. “I’ll get off at 10pm. We can get high after that and meet everyone at the warehouse around midnight or whenever Yoongi gets off work.” He explained.

“Thanks Tae.” Rina said. When he pulled up to Yoongi’s, she leaned over and gave Tae a kiss. “I’ll see you tonight.” She said before getting out and watching Tae drive off before going back to Yoongi’s house.

Mina nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Sounds good. Please be safe Namjoon" she said before pressing her lips to his in a deep passionate kiss. She pulled away and lightly kissed under his chin. "Love you." She whispered, before letting him go.

Taehyung smiled and then drove off to Namjoon's to drop off his car.

Jungkook heard Rina walk inside the house. He went up to greet her. "Hey you're back early...where's Akira?" He asked her with a small smile.

“I will.” Namjoon smiled and kissed her. A moment later, Tae came in and handed Namjoon his keys. “Thank you hyung.” He said, “is it okay if I stay here with you, unnie?” He asked Mina.

“Not yet. She still has thirty minutes left of school but she’ll take the train here. Did Yoongi leave for work already?” Rina asked as she sat the spare key on the counter.

Mina blushed when she saw that Taehyung caught her and Namjoon being a little handsy with each other. Namjoon winked at her and he ruffled Taehyung's hair, before he left. "Yeah of course you can Taehyung." Mina said with a smile. "So how did things go with you and Rina?" She asked the younger boy.

Jungkook shrugged his shoulders, "Last time I saw him, he went to his studio room. I had been in the guest room just reading and then fixed myself something to eat with what you guys had in the pantry...I hope that was okay...I-I just didn't want to bother him or you." He said as he bit his lip nervously

“Good, we talked and I told her that I’m okay with not being her boyfriend because I’d rather be an older brother type that she can look up to.” Tae smiled as he got himself a glass of water.

Rina smiled, “it’s okay, Kookie. You’re welcome to anything here. I’m going to go find Yoongi and let him know I’m back and then we’ll play a game until Akira gets here okay?” She said, ruffling the younger boy’s hair.

She headed to Yoongi’s studio room and knocked. “Yoongi? It’s Rina, can I come in?”
