Boy Meets Evil

Jennie smiled a little. “How are things with you and Yoongi?” She asked, glancing over towards Tae, who was still watching her.

Ara avoided looking at Yoongi, knowing he was looking at her. She wished that she could tell someone the truth about how Yoongi and her are really doing. Ara sighed and put on a fake smile, "We're doing great. " She said, lying through her teeth. "What about you and Taehyung?" She asked.

Jennie faked a smile. “We’re doing good.” She lied. In fact they weren’t doing good and hadn’t for the last six months or so now. “How’s work been?” She asked the older girl.

Ara nodded at the girl's answer. She was glad the topic was now off about her and Yoongi. She hated when she had to lie about how good they were and that they are a strong couple, when in reality things between them had been bad for months, but she didn't understand why. She couldn't recall anything that she did to cause Yoongi to treat her so bad. Ara sighed softly but again she put on a fake smile. "Work is good, been very busy which is why I haven't been around much." At least that was partly true, Ara made herself busy at her job at the salon just so she could be away from her home with Yoongi for a majority of the day. She practically did anything to avoid receiving any of the mental and verbal abuse from Yoongi.

“You work at the salon now right? Doing hair?” Jennie asked, seeing her nod. “Maybe I can come get my hair done one day and we can hang out, just us girls.” She said. It was a way to avoid Tae and she wouldn’t even tell him for fear of him going off again. She looked up whenever she heard a chair scoot and saw Tae get up, giving her a ‘let’s go’ look. “I’ll see you around, Ara.” She said and quickly got up.

Ara nodded, this time giving her younger friend a genuine smile. "I would love that. Let me know when you want to do get together." She said, almost in a whisper. Although Yoongi said that she could talk to Jennie, she didn't know if he meant it or not, so she thought it would be better if he didn't know her hang out plans with the younger girl. Ara saw that she quickly got up and rushed out a goodbye when Taehyung walked up to them. She sighed, but nodded. "See yah" Ara said softly then she looked over to Yoongi who was staring at her, still probably pissed off from earlier.

Once Taehyung and Jennie walked out of the warehouse and were far enough to be out of eyesight and hearing range, Taehyung grabbed Jennie's shoulders and slammed her against his car. "Don't think that I forgot about your stint back there with Namjoon." He growled angrily, digging his fingers into her shoulders, most likely to leave bruises in the process. "You better hope you can give me a very good reason why you were talking to Namjoon when I specifically told you not to, you fucking whore" He all but yelled before he backed off and went to the driver's side of the car. "Get inside the fucking car" he demanded, when he saw that Jennie didn't move.

Yoongi got up. “Ara, come on.” He said. He said goodbye to the rest of the guys before waiting for Ara to follow him. Once they were outside and in the car, he looked at her. “What were you whispering to Jennie?” He asked, looking over at her as he backed away from the warehouse.

Jennie swallowed the lump in her throat, rubbing her shoulder as she got in the car. “Don’t you think I should drive since you’ve been drinking?” She asked quietly. She didn’t want them to get into an accident or worse.

"I p-promise I didn't say anything about you, especially n-nohing bad." Ara said quickly in defense, even when it was the truth. "She just asked me if I can schedule her in for a hair appointment is all and I told her yes.". Ara said softly and looked away, not wanting to say anything more. She didn't want to make the situation that she was already in worse than it needed to be.

"Would you just fucking shut up for once?! I only drank two bottles, I am more than capable to drive us home." Taehyung yelled at her, backhanding her in the process, getting Jennie to shut up. "Stop being such a nosey bitch and mind your business when it comes to me drinking. I can handle my fucking self." He said and angrily turned on the car, gripping the steering wheel tightly as he drove them to their apartment.

Yoongi laughed. “You expect me to believe that?” He asked. He knew Ara was lying and he knew she was up to something. “I’m surprised you’re not fucking Jin behind my back. Taehyung told me Jennie is fucking Namjoon behind his back.” He scoffed. “He picked such a whore for a girlfriend, if you ever did something like that to me, I’ll fucking kill you.” He threatened.

Jennie was always surprised by the first hit because she was never expecting it. It did shut her up however and she leaned back in the seat, looking out the window. She was trying to think back to see if there was a reason for Taehyung’s resentment towards her and she couldn’t think of one thing she had done or said that would have caused him to be this way.

Ara flinched at his words. "I-I would never do that to you, Yoongi. You know that Jin is like a brother to me. I only love you." Ara tried to convince him. She couldn't believe that Yoongi thought of her doing such a thing. She also didn't think that Jennie was that type of person either. "I promise you that she only asked me to help her do her hair, I swear." She said, putting her hands up in defense.

Taehyung pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex that they lived in. He quickly got of the car, slamming the door behind him, not waiting for Jennie to get out. He took the keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door to their apartment. Tae went straight to the fridge and grabbed himself a beer. He opened the bottle and took a swig, before seeing Jennie finally walking inside. He approached her, still furious with his girlfriend.

Yoongi didn’t say anything at first, he looked over at her. “You better fucking not and that better be all you do. If I find out otherwise, so help me god.” He said, pulling up to their apartment. He cut the engine before getting out, not even waiting for Ara.

Jennie stayed in the car a couple more minutes to prepare herself for a beating she didn’t deserve. She sighed before finally getting out and going inside. She closed and locked the door and looked over at Tae who was drinking once again, but she didn’t say anything.

Ara sat in the car for a few minutes. Tears had fell from her eyes, she didn't understand why Yoongi was acting like this to her. Yoongi used to be so loving and caring when they were together, especially in the privacy of their own home, but now he's the opposite and she wanted to figure out what was the cause of this change. Ara, quickly dabbed her eyes and cheeks with a tissue, hoping to make it look like she wasn't crying. She knew it would set Yoongi off if she was crying and she didn't want him to be any more angry at her than he was already.

"I don't know what kind of stint you were trying to pull back there at the warehouse with Namjoon, but I'm not gonna sit back here and let it happen." Taehyung said, as he kept moving closer to her until she was cornered and no where to go. "I don't know why you insist on trying to sleep with Namjoon, knowing he's my friend and knowing that you are supposed to be loyal to me! I bet you fucked all of my friends because of the whore you really are." He said, his hand now on her throat, not choking her, but putting enough pressure to keep her silent. "You must really like pissing me the fuck off don't you bitch?" He said, getting angrier and putting more pressure on her throat.

Yoongi immediately went for a beer when he entered their apartment. He sat down at the table, grabbing the leftovers from last night and throwing them in the microwave. He looked up whenever Ara came in. He didn’t say anything to her, just opened his beer and took a long drink. As she passed by, he noticed how wet her eyes looked, “were you crying?” He asked.

Jennie shook her head, unable to speak. She carefully tried to push Tae back without upsetting him even more. “I haven’t slept with Namjoon or any of them, I swear. I only love you, Tae.” She said softly, trying to calm him down.

Ara frozed in place, but quickly shook her head. "N-No." She lied, tryin to pass by him. She was trying to escape to their shared room so that she could avoid him and avoid another fight. Ara saw that he was drinking another beer, this would be his sixth beer today, and she knew that the more he drinks, the worsthe gets. Ara tried closing the door to their room and lock it, but Yoongi was quick enough to keep her from closing the door.

Taehyung shook his head and gave a menacing laugh before looking at her, "Stop fucking lying to me" Tae yelled, pressing his body into her, leaving little no space between them. "You are nothing but a liar, a whore, and a worthless person. You should be fucking glad that I haven't left your stupid ass." He said, insulting Jennie, his hand still not leaving her throat. He squeezed it a little tighter so she couldn't talk. "Be a good bitch and fix me some dinner" Tae demanded. He let go of her throat, before he pushed her to the ground.

Yoongi followed her, putting his foot between the door and frame to keep her from closing the door. He pushed it open before shoving her against the wall. “I’m getting real tired of your lies, Ara.” He growled down at her as he held her against the wall.

Jennie got up and went into the kitchen, grabbing things to make his favorite meal. She didn’t know why she bothered, it wouldn’t change how he felt about her, but to lessen a beating, she did it anyways.

"What am I supposed to tell you? That I admit that I was crying, especially when I know that you get pissed off when I do!?" Ara snapped back at him, only to realize shortly after that it was a very big mistake. One thing she should have definitely known not to do was talk back to him, like she did just now.

Taehyung walked away to their bedroom, slamming the door shut loud enough to hear a yelp from Jennie. He rubbed his hand down his face and then took another swig of his beer before putting it down on the night stand on his bedside. Taehyung changed out of his clothes, only leaving him in just his boxers, before climbing on too of the bed. He needed to relax, so he turned the TV on, listening tk the background noise and drifted off to sleep just until it was time to eat dinner.

Yoongi looked at her before grabbing her throat. “Are you talking back to me? I guess I need to teach your dumbass a lesson in what happens when stupid bitches talk back to me.” He growled out, keeping his hands pressed against her throat, not enough to choke her but to put pressure on her.

Jennie finished making some dinner and went to get Tae. She saw he was sleeping so she carefully shook him. “Tae, I have dinner ready.” She said softly, stepping back in case he lashed out.

Ara tried to speak but couldn't since his hands were on her throat. She stuggled to push him off of her slightly. "I-I'm s-sorry" she managed choke out. Hoping that Yoongi will release her soon so she could breathe. Tears we're starting to fall from her eyes he kept verbally insulted her.

Taehyung groaned as he was waking up, feeling a slight headache coming on. He saw that Jennie had backed up from him but he shrugged it off and just ignored her as he got up from the bed to put on a pair of sweatpants to put then headed to the kitchen, pushing past Jennie. When he got to the kitchen and saw that Jennie made his favorite meal, he began to soften his mood. He saw his girlfriend walking by him, to which he gently grabbed her and pulled Jennie close to his chest, kissing her forehead lightly.

Yoongi let go of her throat but didn’t step back. “You have anymore smartassed comments to make or are you going to keep that whore mouth of yours shut?” He said, glaring at her.

Jennie was confused when he grabbed her and when she felt him giving her a light kiss, she was even more confused. “I made your favorite...” she said softly, not looking at him. She could feel her body tensing up the longer he held onto her.

Ara shook her head, knowing it was best not to say anything else. She just wanted him to let her go.

Taehyung nodded and kissed her forehead again, "I know. Thank you" he said and let her go. And went to fix himself a plate. He grabbed himself a can of soda.
