I Need U

Yoongi got out of the shower and got dressed, quickly fixing his hair before he read the text from Sunni. He went out to his car and got in, driving to her house. Luckily he remembered where it was and didn’t have to ask for directions again. When he arrived, he parked the car and climbed out, walking up to the front door. It felt weird for him to just walk in, but he did anyways. He looked around, taking his shoes off at the front door. He walked towards the smell coming from the kitchen. “It smells good in here,” he said.

Sooyoung looked up when Jimin entered the room, smiling up at him. “Hey,” she murmured, sitting up and moving over to make room for him. “I can’t believe Yoongi chose today of all days to be up early.” She let out a soft laugh, shaking her head. “It’s just my luck.” She leaned against his side slightly, sighing contently. She really wasn’t ready to leave his side yet, enjoying being in his company. But she knew she would need to leave at some point.

Sunni smiled. “Hey, I hope you’re hungry.” She smiled as she got plates down for them. “I honestly didn’t think you were going to show but I’m glad you did.” She smiled as she got him some food and sat it down at the table.

Jimin chuckled. “I know, usually he sleeps until late afternoon.” He said and sat with her, “you ready for me to take you home or? I just wanna have you home before Yoongi gets back, where ever he went.” Jimin chuckled as he played with her hair.

[Me too, I just recently fell in love with her.]

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at her. “Why didn’t you think I was going to come?” he asked curiously. “I thought we had a pretty good time last night. I even gave you my song.” He sat down at the table, watching her. He waited for her to join him before he started eating, not wanting to be rude. Jin was a good cook, but this was honestly the best meal he’d had in a long time.

Sooyoung nodded her head. “Yeah, I know,” she said. “He went over to Sunni’s, I think. She said she would distract him for me so I could escape.” She sat up, reaching on the floor for her shoes. “I would offer for you to hang out at my house for a while, but I know my parents will tell Yoongi that you were there. I don’t want to ruin the friendship you have with him.”

Sunni smiled as she watched him. “You must be hungry.” She giggled as she ate. She looked at him. “I noticed you brought your laptop, did you work out a new song?” She asked him as she took a bite of her eggs.

Jimin nodded. “Well, why don’t we go out for breakfast before I take you home? That way we can spend a little more time together?” Jimini suggested as he gornip and grabbed his shoes.

[Yeah! I’ve been obsessed with Crazy and Hate lately. ]

Yoongi smiled at her. “Yeah, you’re a pretty good chef,” he said. “I started working on some new stuff this morning when I woke up. I thought maybe you could help me. I know you said you’ve tried writing before, so I figured maybe we could work on a song together.” It was weird for him to ask anyone for help on a song. He usually only asked Namjoon or Hoseok for help with lyrics, so this was kind of new to him. But he also wanted to help her for some reason. He didn’t know why, but he just felt inclined to help her.

Sooyoung nodded her head. “Yeah, breakfast sounds good,” she said. She tugged her shoes on, standing up and watching him. “I’m sorry you had to cover for me. I really don’t want to cause any trouble for you.” She felt bad that he had to lie to Yoongi, she knew trust was a big deal to her brother. “Do you really think sneaking around behind his back is such a good idea? I hate that you have to lie to him.”

Sunni smiled. “Thank you and that sounds good.” She said as she finished eating. She got up put her plate in the sink. “Do you want something to drink? Coffee? Water?” She asked him as she started the coffee pot to make herself some.

Jimin smiled. “Don’t worry, I think Sunni is going to help us with covering up.” He chuckled as he grabbed his keys. “And I know the others won’t say anything to him,” he said as they walked out of his room and he slipped his shoes on before going out to his car.

Yoongi watched her. He’d already had a bit of coffee that morning, but he could honestly never pass up the opportunity for more. Sometimes it felt as if he lived off coffee. “Yeah, I’ll take some coffee,” he finally said after a minute, standing up and walking over to the sink to clean his plate off as well. He rinsed it off and put it in the dishwasher before turning to look at her.

Sooyoung followed him out to the car. “I hope you’re right,” she said. As much as she liked Jimin and loved the idea of dating him, she still felt somewhat guilty for going behind her brother’s back. She climbed into the car and buckled her seat belt, looking over at Jimin and smiling. “Thank you for letting me stay the night. It was some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while, honestly.”

“How do you like it? Sugar or cream?” Sunni asked after she made him a cup. She set aside, so he could add whatever he wanted, and then made herself a cup and added some stevia and her caramel creamer.

Jimin smiled. “Really? Is it because you were cuddling with the man of your dreams?” He smirked as he got into his car and started it up once she had her seatbelt on.

"I usually take it black," Yoongi admitted. "But I'm kind of in the mood for something sweet, so I might add some sugar." He did so, stirring it around until he was sure the sugar had dissolved before he raised the cup to his lips and took a sip. He hummed in satisfaction, smiling slightly at her as he set the cup down on the counter. "That's good coffee." He stared at her for a moment, biting his lip.

Sooyoung blushed slightly, rolling her eyes playfully at him. “So cocky,” she said, shaking her head at him. “You’re not wrong, though. You are kind of the man of my dreams. My ideal man, I mean.” She was just digging herself into a deeper hole, so she stopped speaking, glancing out of the window. She usually wasn’t very shy, but around Jimin she felt a bit more insecure. She didn’t want to embarrass or make a fool out of herself in front of him.

Sunni smiled. “I’m glad you like it. So, did you want to go to my room and work on some music?” She asked. She grabbed her coffee whenever he nodded and led him up to her room. “Sorry for the mess.” She said, walking in and moving some stuff around.

Jimin chuckled. “Am I now?” He smirked as he looked over at her. He pulled up to the cafe and parks before getting out and going to her door and opening it.

Yoongi chuckled, shrugging his shoulders. "It's not that bad," he said, smiling at her. "I've seen worse, trust me. Namjoon can be really messy sometimes." He looked around her room, taking everything in. He then looked at her, watching as he stood in the doorway. "Do you play any instruments?" he asked after a moment of silence. He wondered if she was just into rap or if she liked singing or other instruments too.

Sooyoung blushed, shaking her head. She looked up when he opened her door, smiling as she stepped out of the car. "Such a gentleman," she murmured. "Thank you." She waited for him to shut the door before she walked inside the cafe with him. She got in line with him, looking up at him. "When do your promotions start? Soon, right?"

Sunni looked over at him, “I sing and play the piano...I haven’t done the latter in a long time though but I can still play if given the opportunity.” She smiled, clearing a space for them to work. “You seem surprised.” She said, seeing the look on his face after she told him what else she did.

Jimin chuckled. “That’s me, mr. gentleman.” He said, heading inside with her. He looked down and nodded, “yeah, I think in the next couple weeks, actually.” He admitted. “Namjoon knows more about it then we do.”

Yoongi chuckled. "I love the piano," he said. "I play whenever I get the chance." Most people probably wouldn't think he was a pianist by looking at him or just scratching the surface, but he was a lot deeper than what people saw. "Do you have a keyboard or anything?"

"That's really exciting," Sooyoung said with a smile. "This is going to be a really good era for you guys. I just know it. That song you have is really good." She grinned up at him. "I had it stuck in my head all night last night after watching you guys dance."

“Yeah,” Sunni said as she walked over to her closet. She dug around before bringing out her keyboard and the stand. She sat it up and looked at him, “Are you going to play me something?” She asked with a smile before sitting down on her bed.

Jimin smiled. “Me too, I’m glad you like it.” He said as he sat with her at the table. “So have you checked in to any auctions at any of the companies?” He asked as he sipped his water.

Yoongi chuckled. "I could," he said. He sat down and turned on the keyboard, gently running his fingers over the keys. "It's been a while since I've been able to play with everything going on." He began to play a song, one of the first ones he ever learned to play. He lost himself in the music, nearly forgetting where he was for a moment. When he finished, he opened his eyes and realized where he was again, looking over at her and smiling sheepishly. "Sorry. I get lost in the music sometimes."

Sooyoung nodded her head. "There's one coming up soon," she said. "Sunni and I both plan on going. I just hope Yoongi will support me. I would really like it if he would come with us." Even if her brother didn't fully support her choice to audition, she would still like him to come with her when she went. It would be helpful for her to be able to have him there to remind her how far he'd gone, and that hopefully she could go just as far herself.

Sunni smiled as she watched him. “It’s okay, that was really beautiful.” She said, getting up and sitting on her desk chair. “You really do have a knack for piano.” She smiled at him.

Jimin smiled. “I’m sure if you talk to him, he’ll go. If not, I can go in his place if you’d like?” He offered. “Or maybe her and I can both come. You know I’ll support you and Sunni, I think you two have the potential to form a girl group or maybe even just a duo or something.” He smiled.

Yoongi smiled at her. "Thanks," he said. He was always receiving compliments from the guys, and while he was thankful for them, it was nice to hear compliments from an unbiased person. "Do you want to play something?" He stood up to get out of her way, standing there and crossing his arms over his chest as he watched her.

Sooyoung smiled at him. "I was hoping you could come too anyway," she murmured. "I think it would be great if we could end up in the same group, but the chances of that happening are really slim. I don't even know if I'll get accepted. Sunni can rap and dance and sing. She's the full package. I'm good at dancing, but I can't rap and my singing is only okay."

“Sure..” Sunni smiled. She sat down and cracked her knuckles before playing a song that her mom taught her as a child. She almost started singing but refrained. Sooyoung said she was a good singer but Sunni didn’t think she was.

“Maybe you can take some vocal training? I wasn’t always the angelic singer I am today.” Jimin chuckled. “In fact, none of us were really were except Jungkook, lucky bastard.” Jimin chuckled again.

Yoongi watched her, walking over and kneeling down beside her. "Don't hold back," he said, lightly resting his hand on her arm. He had seen her take in a breath as if she were going to start singing, but then stopped before she even started. "If you want to be an idol, you have to have confidence. You have to be willing to show off all your talents."

Sooyoung nodded her head, letting out a small laugh. "It's hard to believe you needed vocal lessons," she said. "You're so talented." It was a good idea, though, and she would have to make a mental note to do that as soon as possible. She knew she would have to work hard for this if she wanted it, so that's what she was going to do.
