April sat on Matts couch, waiting for him to come back from his room with her deal. Coming to Matt made April hate herself a little more each time she found herself scrounging her purse for the money to pay him. Matt had been Aprils dealer since she was a senior in high school. That was when her drug addiction began, it was a coping mechanism to help her deal with the abuse she suffered from her foster parents, and it also helped her ignore her anxiety and depression.
The pair had known each other for years, and whether Matt was just taking advantage of April, or not, their relationship had evolved from just him being her dealer, to a sort of friends with benefits scenario.
When Matt came back into the living room, holding a little plastic bag with a handful of pills inside, April felt her hands start to get sweaty. She clutched the money in her hands and quickly offered it up to Matt. Every so often she got the nerve to try and quit cold turkey, so currently, she hadn't had a fix in a week and a half and the withdrawal symptoms were starting to kick her ass. "Thanks." She said as she grabbed the baggie from him.
Brian stepped out of the shower, hearing a light rapping knock coming from his front door. He ran a towel through his hair and quickly threw on some pajama pants and a dark t shirt. "Coming!" He called, pretty sure he knew exactly who it was.
Hannah was one of Brian's newest customers and so far everything between them had been strictly business. She would come over, barely come inside, pay him, get her goods and leave. But today Brian had different plans for her.
Going up to his door, he opened it a crack to see who it was before letting it swing wide open. He gave Hannah a smile and moved out of the way, inviting her in. "Aren't you swinging by late?" He smirked.
