April didn't waste any time. She headed straight from the jail to his place. She wasn't sure if she could pull this off, they had found a little bit scattered around his apartment when they did the bust that he was already facing 15 years and a ten thousand dollar bond. Once inside, she was quick to find his stash, and the list in his desk. Next to it, was a cellphone with a few voicemails so she took that too. She knew she couldn't do anything from here- the police would most likely be watching his house.
She put everything in her bag and hurried home, feeling like her heart was about to bust out of her chest she was so nervous. It was one thing to buy and take drugs, it was a completely different thing to start selling. If she wasn't smart about this, she could end up right where he was.
April sat down on her bed and opened the voicemails on the phone. There were six ones, all from Matt's friends wondering when they could come by. She called each one back, giving them the same spill that they could come to her house later that night to get their stuff.
Derek was the first guy to show up at her house and she was surprised when he just walked into her house. She got up off the couch and crossed her arms, "Uhm, heard of knocking?" He looked her up and down and just scoffed, "Matt's trusting a little girl to get him out of jail? Let me guess, you're just pocketing all the cash, aren't you?"
"I'm not here to have conversations, you want your coke or what?" April frowned and led him into the kitchen. "Money?" She asked, leaning against the counter. Derek got way to close, with a dirty smirk on his lips, "How about I compensate you some other way?" He leaned in, trying to grab her around her waist.
April slid her hand behind her back, into the drawer she was leaning against and pulled out a pistol. "I said money, asshole, or you can leave." The man was quick to back up and drop a roll of cash on the table. She had never seen a man shake like a leaf so hard before. She got his stuff and he left before even saying another word. She figured that this was how it was going to go.
Only four days had gone by, and April already had eight grand. She answered her phone, getting a call from Matt in jail. "Hello?"
Brian maneuvered his way through the crowd of bodies, having absolutely no personal space whatsoever, but he was used to it. In all honesty, he didn't like huge crowds like this either. He enjoyed smaller parties, but he never threw any because he was to afraid to get busted. He liked to keep his nose down, not draw any attention to himself. And so far, that had been working. He had been dealing since he graduated high school and had never had a run in with the cops.
When he brought Hannah's beer back, he watched as she took a deep drink and he couldn't help but chuckle. "Am I missing something...? Do you not like big parties?" He teased her, taking a sip of his own beer.
