What Am I To You?

Hoseok smiled when Boy In Luv came on. He hadn't listened tk dance to the song after the constant promotion of the album ended almost 4 years ago. He watched Yumi dance to the song perfectly. He even rapped to his own rap part. Hoseok didn't realize how much he missed playing this song and he was happy that Yumi played it.

When Yumi finished, she smiled. “What did you think? It’s one of my favorites.” She said as she sat down beside him and chugged her water. She was starting to get tired but she wanted to hang out with Hoseok. The more she looked at him, she started seeing how familiar he looked. She knew him from somewhere, but she didn’t know where.

Hoseok clapped at the end of her performing. "You were amazing!!" He said and hugged her. Hoseok was beginning to see her someone familiar, someone that he used to know. He thought that if he started to hang out with her more, that he'll figure out who she is hopefully.

Yumi blushed. “Thank you.” She said and sat down with him. The more she looked at him, the more familiar he got. “This is crazy but I feel like I know you from somewhere.” She said.

Hoseok smiled. "I was thinking the same thing. I just wish I knew where i know you from." He said with a small laugh. But then he remembered his uncle telling him that he and Yumi were in the same dance class when they were younger. "What's your last name Yumi?" He asked.

“Chan.” Yumi said as she sipped some water. “Does it ring a bell?” She asked, watching Hoseok’s eyes widen. It must have or he wouldn’t be making this expression.

Hoseok nodded, "It does and I'm just trying to picture you as this little girl I used to know when I was younger. We were in a dance class in this studio together. I remember her getting bullied by some of the dancers in our class, but I would always stick up for her." He said and then smiled brightly when remembered another fact. "She would call me her Anpanman, whenever I would save her from the bullies." He said with a small chuckle.

Yumi giggled, “you remembered that? Oh god...yeah...that was me..” she said softly. “I remember not coming to dance for a week because the bullying got so bad..” she said softly, screwing the cap back on her water bottle.

Hoseok smiled when Yumi admitted that it was her. He had missed her when she moved away all those years ago. He had wanted to find her, but he had no such luck. But now that she is back, Hoseok couldn't wait to make up for the lost time. "I hope this doesn't make things weird between us, but you're really pretty." He admitted, blushing at the same time.

Yumi blushed. “Thank you...I wasn’t when I was younger, if you remember, that’s why the kids made fun of me because of the way I looked. Puberty hit me like a freight train in high school though.” She said. “Do you want to dance?” She asked him.

Hoseok smiled, "Well I always thought you were pretty." He said truthfully. He then nodded with a big smile "Of course I do. I never say no to dancing and if I do, it's because I'm sick" he chuckled and got up.

Yumi blushed again. “You gotta stop making me blush.” She said. She looked at him, “did you want to do one of your routines you and your band does?” She asked as she looked over at him.

Hoseok smiled at her comment, thinking she was too cute. He then shook his head. "I'm actually working on my own mixtape and there is a track on the album that I want to incorporate a dance for it." He said. "Would you like to help me with that?"

“Yes, of course.” Yumi said. “Just show me what you got.” She said, leaning against the wall so she could watch him. She remembered him now, he had always been cute and he definitely grew up to be handsome now. She watched in awe as Hobi started dancing.

Hoseok finished dancing "What do you think?" He asked with a smile. He grabbed his water bottle from his bag, taking a sip of it. "I think it could use some flair." He said and chuckled.

“Okay, I’m going to repeat what you did and add a few things and let me know what you think.” Yumi said as she started the song over. She started copying his dances and added a few things here and there until she was done. “What do you think?” She asked as she got a drink of water.

Hoseok nodded and smiled "That's perfect!" He said and then stood next to her, so that he could learn the new addition to the choreography. He played the song from the beginning and began following Yumi's lead.

Once they were done, Yumi high fived him. “Okay, I don’t jnow about you, but I’m all danced out.” She sighed as she got a drink of water, panting slightly.

Hoseok laughed softly, nodded in agreement. "Same here. I'm sure that the guys are wondering where I'm at, especially with curfew getting close." He said and went to grab his phone from the stereo and his bag from the floor. "We'll have to hang out again soon. That is if you want to hang out with me again." He said and hugged Yumi.

“Sure, just text me. I’d love to meet your friends.” Yumi said as she gathered her things and followed him out of the studio. “See you, Hoseok.” She smiled.
