Brian had wanted to see if he could get Monica to relax, because it didn't seem like James was doing such a good job of it. It seemed like he had only taken his eyes off Sadie for a second, but when they went back into the kitchen she was gone. "Where did she go???" Monica seemed to start panicking, as if her child had just slipped back through her fingers. Brian sighed, telling himself he'd be doing both Sadie's parents and her a favor if he took her. Brian told her parents he'd go out and see if he could find her. He left, unlocking his car and getting in before driving down the road, hoping he went in the right direction. She hadn't gotten far, just a few blocks down. He pulled up next to her and rolled his window down, "I know your mom is a little eccentric, but running out of the house might not be the best way to deal with it." He laughed.

Sadie frowned when she heard Brian. She stopped walking then looked at him. She walked over to his car and leaned against the open window, "You arent there all the time. It's awful. Pretty sure if they could they would lock me in that dumb house." She said. She stared at him, "And she is always trying to feed me. She acts like I'm starving. Either that or she is trying to make me fat." She said. She rested her chin on her hands, "It's horrible." She muttered.
