Cora nodded, “I’d like that.” She said as a small smile crossed her lips again. She walked with him to breakfast and sat down next to him, “How did you sleep last night?” Cora asked, just trying to make conversation.

George nodded, “Ah, that sounds like a lot of extra work for those few days, but I’m sure you can handle it.” He gave her a smile, “I slept great actually, it’s easier to sleep here than at home.”

He shrugged, "Better than usual," he admitted as he looked at her with a small smile, "What about you?" he askedh er curiously.

She nodded, "I'm sure its a lot quieter than at home," she said to him nodding a bit, "I'll be fine, try not to worry too much," she teased him nudging him playfully.

Cora nodded, “Me too.” She told him as they sat down for breakfast. Cora glanced over at him, just looking at him. She could tell there was something off with him and she couldn’t put her finger on what it was.

George laughed as he nodded, “Its much quieter here.” He smiled over at her, “I’m not worried, I’m sure you can handle it. They wouldn’t have made you prefect if you couldn’t handle a little pressure.”

Jean nodded a bit,"You're right, I don't mind just hope it's not too stressful once Quidditch starts. I want to focus on my chaser skills I think I've gotten a bit slow over summer," she admitted as she looked at him then sighed.

He nodded, knowing that most purebloods didn't particularly sleep well in their homes. There was a lot of darkness that swirled above them and it kept them all scared. Cora nodded, “I’ve been staying with my Aunt Addeline and her house isn’t exactly what you would call welcoming.” She sighed softly, “So it’s nice being here and being able to sleep.” Cora looked at him, “You looked a bit tired yourself yesterday...”

“I’m sure by that time things will be calm,” George was hopeful that Jean would be able to juggle her responsibilities and he’d do what he could to help her out. He raised an eyebrow at her statement, “Really? Practice couldn’t hurt then could it?” He teased.

He nodded a little,"Home isn't a good place for me anymore either," he said to her sighing as he shook his head, "But we can be okay here... at least for now,"

She nodded,"Exactly, I'm going to try and get on practicing as soon as possible," she said to him with asmall smile

“I hadn’t been home for more than a week this Summer,” Cora said softly. She had missed her parents, mostly her mom. Cora nodded, “I’m always better here.”

George listened to her as she talked about practicing, “Yeah, you won’t need much. You’re a great chaser.” He told her.

Draco could understand that, at Malfoy Manor, more and more death eaters were showing up. Sometimes he wondered if it'd be worth it to just run away, but he thought about his mother and thought otherwise. "It's getting bad, Cora," he said to her gently his eyes meeting hers. "If anything bad happens, you have to promise to keep yourself safe,"

Jean shrugged a little, "We'll see. I wasn't able to be on a broom all summer, muggle neighborhood," she said with a sad face then began to eat her food, "So, did you want to meet up later," she asked him curiously, "I wanted to talk to you about something... important," she said as she grabbed the sleeve of his robe with a coy smile on her lips.

Cora looked at him for a moment as he spoke, “What do you mean?” She asked. Of course she, like everyone else, had heard whispers, but had no idea how bad things were really getting. “Of course I will keep myself safe,” she said softly.

She nodded and smiled, all she really wanted was to feel his lips on hers again - hopefully, he wasn't too opposed to the idea. She finished off her apple juice and toast before sighing. "Whats your favorite meal?" she asked the twins curiously, she'd promised them she'd make them some muggle meals once in a while during this year.
