The King listened intently, hearing her out, "Do you mean a mage? what's he offering exactly? to help us crush our enemies?" he asked. He smiled softly, "I can't guarantee his safety if he is too powerful, mages are dangerous," he admitted lightly.

Isadora watched her father and nodded her head when he asked if she meant a mage. "Just to help end the war." She explained and frowned. "I'll guarantee his safety if you allow me to." She pointed out.

The King smiled softly, "I suppose there is no harm in seeing what he can do," he said lightly. He took her hand into his, "tell him that he will be safe to visit the castle to meet me, and will be free to go after we've spoken,' he said. "I can't promise any more than that without meeting him," he said.

Isadora relaxed hearing his words giving him a now. "Okay, papa." She smiled kissing his cheek gently. "Thank you." She told him heading back with him to the throne room. She headed to find Sebastian to tell him to get the message to Tyler that the king promised he was safe to visit the castle and free to go after he had spoke to him. She headed to her room feeling tired from the long day.

Tyler spent some time with Mythandarian for the evening, not expecting the message to be ready until a few days from now. He trained his magic, and went hunting with his friend. Before heading to bed, thinking about the peculiar predicament they were now in.

Isadora ate dinner with her mother and father before excusing herself for the night. She went into her room getting into the bath before just relaxing needing something like that to take her mind off of all of her stressful things.

As the sun rose, Tyler bid his friend goodbye for now and headed down the mountain. It would take him all day to make it to the small village once again. He walked steadily and slowly, making sure not to fall.

Just as dusk was falling Tyler found his way to the tavern, covered in his cloak again, and ordered himself a room.

Isadora woke in the morning getting dressed before getting a cloak on and heading out with Sebastian since he had told her he had heard rumors from the village once more. She made sure to hide her face with a cloth while in town.

She made it into the town, glancing around before making it into the tavern. She glanced around before laying eyes on Tyler. She walked over to him before sitting down and uncovering her face, but keeping her hood up so no one else would be able to see her.

Tyler was sitting at a table in the back, nursing a drink and some stew. He'd spent the night in the tavern. When Isadora sat down, he looked up with a small smile.

"Afternoon,' he said lightly. "So how did it go?" he asked. He was genuinely surprised to see her again, he'd expected her father to say no.

Isadora tilted her head seeing his smile before sighing softly. "He says he can't guarantee anything until he meets you. He told me that you are safe to enter the castle and after you two are finished speaking you will be free to leave even if it doesn't go well." She explained to him glancing back seeing Sebastian finally just sit down.

She sighed softly running a hand through her hair lightly pulling it closer to her face seeing some rebels walk into the tavern. She knew if they caught her there, it wouldn't be good. She wrapped her cloth around her face again before looking back at Tyler. "He says you can come on anyday." She finished.

Tyler nodded listening to her. His attention taken by the rebels. "That's sounds okay, I'll make my way there when I can," he replied. He sipped his drink slowly, looking around the room coming up with ideas.

"How much do you trust Sebastian?" he asked softly looking back at Isadora. "Will he do what you say?" he asked.

Isadora nodded her head. "Alright." She replied watching him sipping on his drink. She could practically see the wheels turning in his head as he thought. She wondered what he was going to do.

Surprised by the question, Isadora replied, "With my life. Sebastian has taken care of me since I was a small child." She admitted to him. "Most of the time." She replied her brw beginning the furrow with confusion. "Why?" She asked him.

Tyler looked over at Sebastian who was on edge. "Because I have a crazy idea," he said lightly. He reached into his cloak, "my guess is they're here for me, not you," he said.

He eyed the rebels for a moment, they'd headed to the bar. "If you told him, to just let them chase me, would Sebastian do that?"

Isadora heard his words and said, "More than likely." She watched him shaking her head. "Why would you do that though?" She asked him confused.

She watched Sebastian before just shaking her head. "His priority is me, as long as I'm not in danger." She murmured still confused as to what Tyler was doing.

Tyler nodded, and pulled his hood down. "Because I know I can handle whatever number's they've brought, you only have one guard," he said. He smiled weakly, "Good, safe travels, Isadora," he whispered.

He stood up from the table, and flicked his cloak over his shoulder. The bar tender had directed the rebels to him already, and they were eying him. Tyler dashed out of the tavern, and into the night. The rebels chased after him.

Isadora watched him and frowned gently hearing his words but jsut nodded her head. "You as well, Tyler." She murmured biting down on her lip as she watched him dash out of the tavern.

She laid a hand on Sebastian's when he went to stand up and simply shook her head. "Let's head back before more come." She suggested. He nodded sheathing his sword once more. SHe headed back to the castle finally taking the cloak and cloth off from around her head nad face. Glancing around, she walked on the bridge towards the castle ignoring the thumps from horse feet approaching.

Tyler had lured the rebels out of the town, towards the forest. They managed to surround him, seemingly tripling in number from the few that were in the tavern.

Tyler warned them to leave him alone, but they wouldn't have it, hoping to convince him to help them fight against the empire. When Tyler refused, they attacked him.

Tyler dispatched of some of the men, giving him a window to escape. The fire and fighting was easily heard from the village.

Isadora looked up as a horse stopped in front of her and her 'lovely' fiancee appeared. "Hello, Darling." He said cheerfully. "Hello," She murmured curtsying(Sp?) to him. She laced her arm with his walking into the castle before making up an excuse to get away from him.

Sebastian glanced at Isadora once they were out of earshot. "I don't like him." He muttered gruffly. "Me either." She responded rubbing at hte place his hand had been on. She shook her head walking into her room allowing Sebastian to enter. "He makes me uncomfortable." She admitted to him glancing up to look at him.

Tyler slipped away into the mountains, and retired for the night.

Sebastian nodded lightly, "me too, why are you engaged to him?" he asked

Isadora have a sigh knowing he didn’t know. “In return for his family’s troop — I am to become his wife. I had no say in the matter. I was simply asked in so many words not to screw up the alliance and make him happy.” She said softly turning to look at him. “I wish I didn’t have to marry him, Sebastian. He is cruel.” The words came out as whispers. The expression on her face changes to disgust and maybe a hint of fear.
