Sebastian frowned, "so essentially the same thing as what Tyler was asking for," he said with a hint of anger. He hated how her father used her for political gain, rather than letting her make her own decisions. He moved over to her, "maybe you'll get lucky, and he won't survive the war," he said.

Tyler informed Mythandarian that he planned on visiting the castle tomorrow afternoon. Mythandarian was clearly worried, "I'll stand by overhead, and help you escape if needed," he promised, "please be careful, human's aren't trustworthy,"

"In a different sense. Tyler wants me to agree to him simply because he will be safe. Whereas Francis wants me for his amusement." Isadora said looking up at Sebastian before giving a small smile at him. She hugged him lightly knowing she wasn't supposed to, but she felt like Sebastian was a close Uncle. She pulled away laughing. "How terrible." She mused with a smile. She then sat down in a chair asking a maid to bring her sme tea. She smiled at her. "And eat something if you want before. I know you haven't taken a break today, Anna!" She called to her.

Isadora chuckled as the maid just gave a timid smile. Once the tea was there, she thanked her before sipping on it. "It will work out, Sebastian." She smiled at her guard gently light and love radiating from her being.

Sebastian was surprised to have her hug him. "You assume it was just for his safety, but are you sure," he said lightly. He moved to watch the doorway, "Did you accept your offer to come see your father?" he asked curious. Although he didn't trust the man, he respected that he'd risked himself to protect her from the rebels.

Tyler smiled softly, and thanked his friend. "How are you doing?" he asked, "eaten enough?" he added. The dragon nodded lightly, "I stole some cattle earlier.

Isadora gave a light shrug clasping her hands together. "You can never tell with humans." A small smile formed on her lips as her eyes looked out the windows, clouds reflecting in her sapphire eyes. "We are indeed fickle things after all." She mused shaking out of her day dreaming to look back at Sebastian. "He did." She nodded sipping on her tea. When she was done she set her tea cup on the table lightly. "I just hope things run smoothly." A sigh escaped her lips.

Running a hand through her ebony hair, she looked back at Sebastian watching him for a moment. "What is your opinion on him?" She questioned curiously.

Sebastian stood silently for a little while. "At first I didn't understand why you went looking for him, and I didn't trust him," he said softly. He looked at her with a smile, "He seemed off, what man with that much power doesn't use it to get rich and powerful, why hadn't he taken over the kingdom already," he said honestly. He moved to the window, "I think he just wanted to be left alone, to live his life, I'm surprised he's agreed to try and help, after he led the rebels out of that bar I'm not sure what to think of him," he said.

Isadora waited patiently for a response. She gave a smile at him nodding her head. "You know why I went looking for him now, right?" She asked him lightly leaning her cheek against her hand cupping her face lightly. She sighed softly. "I wish I could be left alone." She smiled shaking her head again. "Wishful thinking will get me nowhere." She stood after a moment stretching a little. "I think he wants to help." She murmured. "At least, that's what I'm hoping."

Sebastian smiled lightly, "I think he wants to help you," he said. He turned to look out the window, "and I'm okay with that, if you are," he said lightly. He looked back at her, "I'm just worried about his dragon, even the riders of old couldn't control their dragons entirely," he said lightly, "and if we end up having to kill the dragon, it'll drive Tyler insane, quite literally," he added.

Isadora gave him a nod. "I hope he does." She admitted softly as she watched the clouds. Turning her head to look at Sebastian, she simply shook it. "They're partners. If he's in danger, Mythandarian will come to his aid. You can't control something that isn't yours." She murmured turning to look at him. "They don't own dragons. They simply rely on one another." She smiled softly to herself.

Sebastian nodded, "yes, but Mythandarian, you called him, could still be holding a grudge, my hope is that he doesn't harm our cause on purpose," he said lightly. He moved into the room, "I'm just saying we will need to be careful," he said.

Sebastian smiled lovingly at Isadora, "Tyler is certainly a powerful ally, even without Mythandarian," he admitted.

Isadora watched Sebastian's back lightly listening to his voice. "I don't think he will, since doing something like that might cause trouble for Tyler." She pointed out before sighing giving a nod. "I just hope this awful war ends soon." She whispered.

She looked up seeing his smile and smiled back nodding her head. "I suppose." She murmured running a hand through her dark hair.

Sebastian nodded softly, "Yes, me too," he said lightly. He moved towards the exit to her room, "Maybe you should try get some sleep, it's getting late, and Tyler might be here tomorrow," he said.

Isadora gave him a nod as she heard his words. "Sleep sweet, Sebastian." She murmured watching as he left. She sighed sftly once she was alone sipping on her tea some more before heading to sleep.

Isadora awoke in the morning before getting into the bath and dressing. The color of her dress complimented her skin tone as well as made her eyes seem to glow brighter. She headed to the throne room to sit with her father and mother. She knew she was needed today since Tyler had said he would come. She smiled at Sebastian lightly.

Sebastian left her in the capable watch of the palace guard while she slept. He retired to his own room and caught up on some much needed sleep. In the morning he got up early and prepared himself, meeting her in the throne room off to the side, his eyes carefully watching over her.

Tyler was excited to be heading towards the castle again. He was hoping that the King would be true to his word, and let him leave even if things didn't work out. Mythandarian, left him with the knowledge that he'd be watching over Tyler from above. Tyler smiled and nodded, beginning to make his way towards the castle by foot. It would take him about two hours.

Isadora ran her hands over the yellow fabric of her dress lightly, turning her head to see Sebastian watching her. She gave him a nod with a smile before glancing over seeing Francis approaching. She stiffened before giving him a fake smile offering him a seat beside her watching as her father beamed at her.

She knew if she told her father about what Francis did to her, he'd have him killed, but she knew he needed the troops, so she dealt with the small bruises left on her arms and wrists when he gripped too tight or the awful threats he whispered when no one could hear. She offered him some wine as she sipped on her water not liking the taste of alcohol.

Tyler slowly made his way to the castle, as he got closer he stashed his recognisable armor into a good hiding place. He had no intentions of letting her father know he was a dragonrider, not until he trusted him. He made his way into the castle with his hood up, mumbling to a few of the guards the court was expecting him. The guards stopped him, claiming they needed to check.

News had made it to Sebastian that a strange cloaked figure was trying to enter the castle. He gave Isadora a little nod, before heading out to met Tyler.

Isadora was preoccupied with trying to pacify her fiancee when Sebastian ndded his head. She simply waved him off lightly knowing if she didn't her family would get suspicious about her acting so friendly towards her guard. She sat back in her chair getting sick of Francis and instead started to speak to her mother eyes beginning.

Her mother knew Isadora wasn't fond of Francis. She spoke with her until she looked up hearing them announce Tyler's name. She turned her sapphire gaze onto the floor watching as he stepped froward. She gave him a nod of encouragement. "Papa, this is the man I told you about." She told him.

Tyler was led into the throne room flanked by a few guards. One of which was Sebastian. He moved forward, and finally removed his hood.

The King gave Isadora a nod, "So the fabled mage decided to come," he said lightly. He looked at the guards surrounding Tyler and gave them a hand signal. They stepped back, but remained ready to attack if necessary.

Tyler smirked softly, "I couldn't refuse a royal invitation could I?," he jested. He looked around the room, until the King spoke, "So I hear you want to help with the war."

Tyler paused looking around thinking for a moment, "Someone had to make a decision to bring the end to the war."

Isadora watched him biting onto her lip lightly as she did so. She heard Francis trying to get her attention waving at him lightly. She couldn't be bothered to deal with him. She bit down on her lip once more.

The king raised an eyebrow. "And you just happened to come to this decision?" He lifted his neck lightly to look at him. "What makes you think you can help?" He asked him. "And why should I trust you?" He continued.

Isadora felt Francis grab onto her arm and winced slightly looking back seeing him upset that she had ignored him. "You're hurting me." She whispered trying to pull her arm out f his grasp.

"Don't ignore me. Since when are you interested in politics anyways?" He hissed angrily, his eyes narrowing.

Tyler's attention was pulled to Francis grabbing Isadora for a moment. "To be honest, I was deciding whether I should help a side, or let you destroy each other, like you destroyed all the other mages," he said.

He looked around the room, "I see you have a legion leader from your allies present," he said indicating to Francis.

"I have proposal, if you'll indulge me," he said lightly. He stepped back, "I want him to shoot me,"

Isadora was trying desperately to listen to the conversation at hand and pay attention to Francis. She was glad that he was sucked into the conversation as well. She pulled her arm from him rubbing it gently shaking her head lightly.

The king raised an eyebrow hearing his words. "Yes. This is Princess Isadora's fiancee." he told him suspiciously. Hearing his request, he rose his eyebrow. "Surely, that isn't necessary?" He asked before seeing he was serious before giving a sigh waving his hand to Francis.

Francis raised his brow lightly dropping Isadora's arm to take his bow and arrow from a guard and aimed it at Tyler before releasing the quiver causing Isadora to gasp in horror.
