Breathing in Sequence was mostly written to this amazing wizard rock band, Ministry of Magic.

I've mostly been listening to their newest songs, "A Phoenix Lament," "Sonorus Love," and "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew," although I'll occasionally listen to "Here In Your Car."

I listen to Three Cheers For Five Years by Mayday Parade writing Face Value even though there is no relation between song and story. That and David Archuleta's Think Of Me because even though I support Cook, Archie's voice sends shivers down my spine when blasted through headphones.

My latest story, Dancer, was written solely to Tchaikovsky - in particular the Swan Lake finale and the Nutcracker Overturey one.

It's not what I'd normally listen to, but it was necessary for the story. Which'll be posted tomorrow.

Writing the last chapter to From Teenage To Daddy In A Matter of Months I listened to :
Say Goodnight (acoustic version and normal) - Bullet For My Valentine
    Before I Forget - Slipknot
Isn't It Ironic - Alanis Morissette
    Bother - Stone Sour
I'm Not Jesus - Apocalyptica Ft. Cory Taylor
    Ralph Wiggum - Bloodhound Gang

I have really weird ways of getting a good chapter out. Oh well music helped me =]

for my story 'Porcelain Emergency', anything by Thursday and Weezer are the main inspirations for the stories. It may not be the lyrics/singing that inspire the chapters, but the music itself.

Whatever the chapter is titled, that's what I was repeating when I was writing that chapter. Well, for Iconic anyways.

I usually listen to piano instrumentals of rock songs or songs in other languages. I can't listen to words, it distracts me.

When I'm writing something depressing/sad (like a break-up), I usually listen to Evanescence or H.I.M. I also listen to Hurt by Christina Aguilera and

I listen to the song Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus when a character is having a fight with someone. (Because that song is amazing). Fall Out Boy and The Academy Is... works for that too.

When I'm writing fluff, happy love, I usually listen to Taylor Swift and the other 15 billion love songs written out there. xD Mostly country for this part.

Basically, happy scenes = happy music and sad/angry scenes = sad/angry music. It always matches the mood.

Sometimes I just listen to Classical music though. I find it relaxing and not as distracting as music with words. *nod nod*

For my currently unposted story, I Will Posess Your Heart, I've listened a lot to Sara Barielles (whose music has become the soundtrack to the story) and the Once soundtrack.
For Don't Scream, I actually can't listen to music at all. Nothing ever fits the chapter I'm writing.

For my story right now, I'm listening to a lot of Regina Spektor. Mostly The Call, Ode To Divorce, and Chemo Limo. Also some Okkervil River.

^ Regina Spektor's fantastic for getting the creative juices flowin'.

For my latest I haven't actually been listening to music while I write because I'm finding I have to concentrate on writing itself a lot more than I usually do, but I've been listening to Less Than Jake's Goodbye In Gasoline, because it gave me the idea, and Against Me!'s Thrash Unreal and Don't Lose Touch before I actually start. It helps me think about what I actually want to write and to get my brain in order. Those songs in particular would be so distracting to write to.

For some reason, I can listen to music when I'm writing, but when I'm proofreading or just reading in general, I can't be listening to anything. I find it so distracting. It's so weird :|
