Tattoos and Heartbreak. [closed]

Hannah looked at him, "Of course I like you." She said. She had liked him for awhile, but she was afraid to tell him. Hannah nodded, "Well I really like Cassie and I like that you are willing to take care of her like that." She said to him.

Danny smiled warmly at Hannah, happy to know that she liked him back. "You are amazing, you know that?" He told her as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. He then felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He sighed in slight annoyance when he read the text from one of the drug buyers. "I hate to cut our get together short, but I have to make these stupid drug deliveries or else they'll call boss man and I don't need that to happen." He said getting up, "Since we aren't able to finish our competition, I'll let you be the winner, but I would love to take you out on a date."

Hannah looked at him, "Okay be careful." She said. She smiled when he ssid she won, "Okay I want to pick the place we go." She said as she stood up with him. She watched as he paid then walked out of the bar with him and went to her car. She looked at him, "Thanks for the food." She said as she got in the car. She drove back to her apartment and walked inside. She rolled her eyes when she seen the missed calls from her brother.

Danny smiled at Hannah, "Okay I'll let you choose." He said and then walked her to her car. He leaned in to kiss her cheek, "Get home safely and I'll see you at the shop tomorrow." He told her before getting to car and drove off to make these dreaded drug deliveries. Danny couldn't wait to finish paying his debt off so that he wouldn't have to keep seeing Nico or the druggies he sells to.

The next morning Hannah walked into the shop and set her stuff down on the counter. She looked at her phone, ignoring the call from Nico. She felt someone behind her and jumped slightly, seeing Cassie. "God dammit dont do that. You scared me." She said to her before she sat down in the chair behind the desk. "Where is your brother?" She asked.

Cassie frowned slightly as she read Hannah's lips, "Sorry I just walked in. I didn't mean to scare you. Is everything fine?" She said to Hannah, noticing that she was a little jumpy. "I came here to ask you the same thing. I haven't heard from him after he dropped me off last night. I assumed he was with you." She said looking at Hannah.

Hannah looked at her, "He left to bar to go home last night. I will call him." She said. She was more worried now as she called Danny's number. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she listened to the phone ringing. She hoped something didnt happen to him.

Danny heard his phone ring, waking him up from his sleep. He looked at the time and realized that he had overslept. He grabbed his phone and immediately answered it when he saw that it was Hannah that was calling him. "Hey I'm soo sorry, I didn't get back home until 5 this morning from the deliveries and I guess I overslept. I'm getting up now, so I'll be at the shop in an hour. Tell Cassie to stay at the shop and that I'll take her to work when i get there." He told Hannah before ending the phone call and hurried to get himself ready.

Hannah smiled, "Okay, I will see you in a bit." She said. She looked at Cassie after she hung up. "He overslept. He said for you to stay here til he gets here so that he can take you to work." She explained to her.

Cassie nodded and smiled softly, glad to hear that her brother was okay. She had noticed that her brother had been acting a little weird lately but figured he was having an off day. "Thanks, I'll just sit in the lobby and read my book while you get ready for your clients." She told Hannah.

Danny had finally gotten himself ready and was driving his way to the shop. He sighed, annoyed that he stayed out all night selling these drugs causing him to be late for work and making Cassie late for work as well.

Hannah got stuff ready and by the time Danny got there she was started on her first appointments tattoo. She focused on the girls wrists as she tattooed her. "Its about time you showed up." She teased Danny, not looking up from her work.

"Yeah sorry about that," Danny said with a small smile before going to the back to put his bag away before grabbing his tsttooing equipment. He had already taken Cassie to work and was glad her boss wasn't too upset abiut her being late.

Danny set up his station from across from Hannah's and waited for his first appointment to come in. "Cassie was telling me that you seemed a little jumpy this morning, is everything okay?" He asked out of concern.

Hannah looked at him once her customer left, "I'm fine. I just had something freak me out, but it's nothing. I'm just being paranoid." She said, seeing that they were alone. "Was everything okay last night?" She asked him. She didnt like him dealing drugs. it was dangerous.

"You sure? You know you can talk to me, right? I care about you." Danny said he moved over to her. "Yeah everything was fine, I just got home later than usual so I overslept" he told her truthfully. "I know you're worried about me selling drugs. I hate doing it myself, but I couldn't let this place shut down and if that happened, I couldn't afford to help take care of Cassie." He sighed

Hannah nodded, "It was just my dumb brother." She said, wanting to leave it at that. She listened to him talking about the drugs, "I know I just wish we could find some other way." She said.

Danny nodded, seeing that Hannah didn't want to go into details about her brother. He sighed, "Yeah me too. Thankfully I will be done dealing drugs for this guy in a couple of months. Things will go back to normal when that happens." He reassured her as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Go on your lunch break, take an hour. I'll handle the shop." Danny offered, knowing she needed to clear her head.

Hannah smiled when he kissed her cheek, "Good because I dont like lying to Cassie." She said. She grabbed her stuff, "Do you want anything while I am out?" She asked as she held her purse in her hands.

"I know, I hate lying to her too, but I just don't want her to worry or make her feel like she has to get another job to help out. Not many people in this town would hire her because she's deaf." Danny said as he thought about his sister before looking back at Hannah as she was about to leave. He took out his wallet and handed her a twenty dollar bill. "Can you pick me up a burger and fries from Five Guys, please." He requested.

Nico put his cigarette out as he stood in front of the library where Cassie worked. He knew that Danny had a sister and he liked to make sure that he had something he could use against all his guys. He walked in, seeing Cassie look at him. She was better looking than he expected. He moved over to the desk, "I'm sorry to bother you but I cant seem to find this address." He said, handing her one to a local shop in town. "Think you can help me?" He asked.

Hannah took the money from Danny, "Sure." She said, smiling at him. she walked out of the shop and went to get something to eat then went to get Danny's burger. Once she had his food she headed down the street, frowning when she noticed Nico coming out of where Cassie worked. She stepped out of his view, hoping he didnt see her. She kept walking frowning as he slid in front of her out of nowhere.

Nico smirked as he lit a cigarette, "Ignoring your big bother isnt very nice sis." He teased her. He stepped in her path when she went to go around him. "Why are you avoiding me?" he asked.

Hannah frowned, "Nico, leave me alone and why were you in the library?" She asked.

Nico exhaled the smoke from his lungs, "I was just looking for something." He said. "Tell you what I will come over to your place tonight for dinner." He said. "Thanks for the invite." He said before he walked away.

Hannah glared at him, "You better now show up to my house." She called to him. When she got back to the shop she handed Danny his stuff. "You need to get Cassie from the library and bring her here." She said, clearly shaken. she frowned when he went to speak, "God dammit Danny just do it and dont ask me questions." She said before she went back to the office and texted Nico telling him to leave her alone.

Cassie was scanning book returns when she felt a dark presence in front of her. She looked up to see a heavily tatted man with a few piercings. He was pretty attractive, but he also looked dangerous. She read his lip movement as he spoke to her and saw the address he handed to her on a card. Cassie smiled softly and pointed out the door. "It's not far from here, just go out through those doors and make a left and it's just a block down from here." She told the man.

Danny looked at Hannah as she walked in like she seen a ghost. Before he could say anything she cut him off and told him to get Cassie. He quickly nodded, doing what she told him. He was afraid that Case was hurt or something. Danny jumped into his car and sped down to the library. He went straight to her boss, knowing that Cassie couldn't tell a white lie. He told her boss that she had a family emergency, so it wouldn't look suspicious. Once he got the okay, Danny went over to Cassie and told her that they needed to leave and head back to the shop.
