Tattoos and Heartbreak. [closed]

Hannah sighed as she sat in the back office and looked over as Danny and Cassie walked in. She knew they would ask questions but she didnt want to tell them. Hannah bit her bottom lip lightly before she looked at Danny in the doorway. "Is she okay?" She asked him. She didnt want to tell him who her brother was. She also didnt want Nico to get back at her by hurting them. She ran her fingers through her hair, "I think I need to go home." She said.

"Yeah she's fine, a little startled that I came by and demanded her to leave work ." Danny said as he looked at Cassie who was in the lobby probably pissed off at him. "What's going on Hannah? Does it have to do with your brother? Is he harassing you? You know I'll put a stop to it. I care about you too Hannah and your safety and well being." He told her ad he pulled Hannah close to him, hugging her.

Hannah shook her head and pulled away from him, "No Danny you stay out of this I mean it." She said. She looked at him, "Look my brother is really dangerous." She said. She sighed and looked at her feet, "Just make sure you watch Cassie because if he knows that I am friends with her he will start harassing her." She said. "He was at the library today and I dont know why and then he came over to me and I told him to leave me alone." She explained.

Danny looked at Hannah and then at Cassie, not knowing what to do. "Hannah I don't care if your brother is dangerous. He's not a good brother if he is threatening you or harassing you and the people you care about." He said and then grabbed her hands, holding them in his. "Why don't you stay over at my place until this all blows over. I'll figure out something to keep Cassie away from the library." Danny told her.

Hannah looked at his hands, "I will stay at your place tonight but I cant just stay with you. I dont want to drag you into this." She said. She didnt want him to end up like her last boyfriend.

Danny sighed softly, "I'll take that for now. You don't need to worry about me though, all I care about is your safety and of course Cassie's. What we'll do is leave your car here and you'll ride home with me. I'll ask Cassie to let you borrow some of her clothes, I'm sure you two are the same size." He said and pulled her close to him once again when he saw tears falling from Hannah's eyes. "Everything will be okay, Hannah. I promise." He reassured her.

Cassie walked into the back where Danny and Hannah were. She was about to give Danny a piece of her mind for making her leave work early without her consent. However, she stopped when she saw Hannah was crying as she was holding on to Danny, making her forget that she was about to tell him off. "Are you okay Hannah?" Cassie asked, concerned about her friend.

Hannah looked up at him, "Thank you." She said. She looked at Cassie, "I am fine." She said. She ran her fingers through her hair. She wiped her eyes, wanting to finish her work day. She looked at Danny, "Are you okay?" She asked.

Cassie hugged Hannah before pulling back slightly. She nodded at the girl's question, "Yeah I'm okay, is there a reason I shouldn't be?" She asked, looking in between Danny and Hannah. She was still confused why Danny had made her leave work early.

Danny shook his head, not wanting Hannah have to explain to her about her brother. "It's nothing, there was a small scare earlier and I just wanted to make sure that you were safe." He lied to her, feeling bad about it, but he just knew it would be better if Cassie didn't know certain things.

Hannah nodded, "Yea I was just having a moment." She said, laughing it off. When the shop was closing she walked with Danny to his car and got in. She watched as he dropped Cassie off, waving at the girl. She looked at Danny, "I am sorry about today." She told him. She felt horrible for possibly causing issues for him. "I just knew he talked to Cassie and he is a really bad guy Danny." She explained.

Danny looked at Hannah and smiled softly at her, "No need to be sorry. I'm glad you told me, so I could get her out in peace." He said as he drove over to his apartment. "Just out of curiosity, why would he go after Cassie? I mean everyone else in this town just ignores her since they know she is deaf." He asked as he pulled into the detached garage of the apartment complex.

Hannah looked at him "That's just it. I dont know. the only thing I can think of is that he seen her with me or something. I feel like Cassie would have said something if he mentioned me though." She said as she for out of the truck with him. She walked into his apartment and set her stuff down. She had only been to his apartment a few times with cassie for a few get togethers he had with friends.

Danny nodded "True, she would have. But I should probably prevent her from going to work just until everything dies down." He said and went to the fridge snd grabbed them a bottle of beer each. "Relax love, you're safe. I won't allow anything to happen to you " he said, reassuring her

Hannah smiled as she took the beer, "I know but I dont want you to get hurt." She said as she took a sip of her beer. She sat on his couch, "Let's not talk about this anymore. It stresses me out." She said laughing.

Danny nodded, "Okay." He said and then moved closer to Hannah, smiling when she rested her head against his shoulder. "So let's talk about this date that I want to take you out on." He said with a smile, as he changed the subject.

Hannah looked at him, "What did you have in mind?" She asked him as she ran her fingers through her hair. She knew he usually liked to have a plan. She took a sip of her beer as she listened to him explain his idea.

"I'm thinking something fun, like going to the fair that's supposed to be coming to town next week." Danny suggested, but then got cut off when his phone rang. Sighing, he grabbed his cell and saw it was Nico tying to reach him. not wanting to talk to the drug lord, he sent a bullshit message saying that he was busy with a meeting, before putting his phone on silent and putting it away. "These damn druggie. They can wait until tomorrow to get their fix. I'm not gonna leave you by yourself." He told Hannah.

Hannah smiled, "I like that idea. I dont think I have been to a fair in a long time." She said as she watche shim grab his phone. She bit her bottom lip lightly, "Do you have to go? I'm sure I would be fine here if it is urgent." She told him. She didnt want him to get in trouble.

Danny shook his head. "No it's okay, they can wait. I don't want to leave you a lone either, Cassie would chew my ass out if I did " he told her as he finished his beer. "You want anything to eat? I can order us some take out." Danny offered

Hannah nodded, "Yea I'm pretty hungry." She said as she leaned back against the couch. She told him that she wanted chicken and broccoli with fried rice. "oh and get fried dumplings." She said, smiling at him.

Danny chuckled "Okay got it" he said before calling in for Chinese takeout. Once he put the order in, he smirked. "Anything else princess?" He teased, poking her side, playfully before leaving a kiss ti her cheek.

Cassie had finish making dinner for herself when she noticed the lights flickered on an off, indicating that someone was ringing her door bell. Put her dinner plate back down on the counter top and went to the front door. Cassie thought it was strange that someone was at her door step. She rarely had visits from anyone, including her brother who only comes to pick her up and drop her off after work. Cassie opened the door to reveal the man who she gave directions earlier today. "H-hello" she greeted the man.
