Cassia grinned. "My studies where insightful but there are some other books I want to be looking into. I am hoping Walter can show me some stores where I can get the resources I am looking for." She hummed and placed her hands on his stomach as she felt his fingers against her hips. It was soothing and she loved his touch on her. "Did you get enough sleep?" she asked him. He must have truly not slept the entire time he was away from her.

Zane nodded in understanding. "Celtin is strong. He will be okay." he said and ran his thumb over the knuckles. "Just be his friend and the rest will work itself out. That is all you can do for him right now is just be there for him." Zane kissed her hand and then pressed it between both of his. "How are you feeling today?" he asked. She seemed well but he wanted to be sure.

Thibault gave an understanding nod, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Perhaps they could bring you somewhere to buy books sometime.." he knew he wouldn't be able to go because all the bookshops would be open during the day, when it wasn't safe for him. But Walter could bring her, and he trusted the man enough to bring her to a bookstore. He chuckled a little when she asked how he'd slept. "I'm fine, Cassia. Just a bit drowsy. It'll pass."

Rosemarie sighed at Zane's assurances, giving a little nod. She knew he was right, but she still worried. She squeezed his hand when he asked how she was feeling, leaning back in her seat to get more comfortable. "Good.. not very nauseous, although I am nervous.. But I think it's good that we're going to the doctor's, even if I'm a bit scared.." she worried about what the doctor would say, but also what Zane would do if he heard news he didn't like.

Cassia smiled and nodded. "That's a good idea." she said and leaned in kissing him. She sighed as he said he was fine and she caressed his cheek. "You better be okay." she said and ran her hand through his hair. She snuggled into his chest. "I don't know why I would do if something happened to you." she said. She snuggled into him more. Just thinking about something being wrong broke her heart. In her research on vampires she had read an account of an older vampire, she wasn't sure how old but he was saying that the only reasons vampires died was because the monotony of eternity drove them to kill themselves. Cassia didn't want Thibault to ever get to that point. She also knew that for him to lose another bond would be the end for him. He didn't want to live after her and she wasn't going to let him have to make that decision. She has had magic in her blood since she was born and now she was going to use it for Thibault.

Zane nodded understanding as she confessed her anxieties. "I'll be with you the entire time." he said and kissed her hand again. It wasn't long before they pulled up in front of the clinic and Zane parked before coming around and opening Cassia's door. He ran his hand up her back and held her to him for a moment as he looked over the building and around trying to determine if it was safe. Zane walked Cassia up to the building and opened the door for her. Once she went in he went in after her and up to the counter. "Checking in for an appointment at 3." he said. He hadn't given out any information yet to them gauging every moment how much he was going to share.

Thibault wrapped his arms around her securely, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I'm fine, my love. You have nothing to worry about." He assured her, running his fingers through her hair soothingly. "So, would you like to go get ready for dinner? Or should we spend some more time together?" He asked, pressing another kiss to her forehead.

Rosemarie squeezed Zane's hand and held onto his arm as he led her into the clinic, looking around curiously. It looked like any other doctor's clinic, but there were a few things here or there that gave it away as a clinic for nonhumans. Harriet sat behind the counter, chin resting in her hand as she flipped through an old looking book, mumbling the words to herself as she read, a pen moving on its own to take her notes on the pad of paper at her side. As Zane approached the counter Harriet looked up, tilting her head curiously as she studied the two before her eyes lit up, smiling warmly at them. "Hello! You must be the gentleman I spoke with on the phone." She said, turning in her chair to grab a clipboard with all sorts of forms stuck to it, as well as a pen. "If you could fill this out, that'd be fantastic." She smiled as she passed it over to Rosemarie, who sheepishly returned the smile. "There's no rush, so once all that's filled out I can bring you to the exam room. Feel free to sit wherever you like." She said, pointing to the little waiting area. "Oh! Before I forget, Mr. Vampire," she said, rummaging through a stack of papers to pull out the one she was looking for. "Because this is all.. not really happening, we'll be putting your information down as if you were a human, with a fake identity and all. That way, if by some chance a Council member finds the paper file we'll be keeping, it doesn't look super suspicious and doesn't immediately lead back to you." She smiled, passing him the paper. "Here's all the info, just in case someone calls or asks about the man, that way you can have something to say to whoever is asking questions."

Cassia hummed as his fingers ran through her hair. She grinned at him. "I always want more time with you." she looked at the clock. "But I think it is time to get ready for dinner." she said and leaned in kissing him. "I want to freshen up." she said. Cassia got up once Thibault let her go and waited for him. They headed back to their room and she went to the bathroom to clean up. Cassia slipped into a dress and put on some heels pinning her hair back before coming out. "Redy." she said excited to see Bernadette and Walter.

Zane was amused that she put his voice together with him as he stood in front of her. He watched the clipboard move over to Rosemarie and frowned softly. He was about to take the clipboard when Harriet called again and he turned looking at her suspiciously. He watched her move through the papers and when she handed them to him telling him they had a cover story his eyes softened and he smiled softly. "It's Morgan. Mr. Morgan." he said and gave her a nod before moving over to where rosemarie sat filling out the paperwork. He put his arm over her shoulder and relaxed into the chair. This was going better than he expected. He wondered how Rosemarie would feel with Harriet after they had some more time one on one. He helped Rosemarie fill out the paperwork then took it back to Harriet leaning casually against the counter as he waited for her to sort through it.

Thibault chuckled, standing with Cassia and following her to their room to freshen up. "We'll have plenty of time to ourselves later." He assured her, pressing a kiss to her cheek before she went to the bathroom to freshen up. While she was freshening up he changed into a clean shirt, smiling over at her once she came out dressed, finishing buttoning his shirt as he leaned in for a kiss. "Ready." He'd let Walter and Bernadette know about dinner ahead of time, so they were already waiting in the dining room when Thibault and Cassia arrived. "Good evening. I hope your day was pleasant." Bernadette greeted, smiling politely over at the two of them as they sat.

Harriet smiled warmly when he introduced himself, a cup of tea moving from a room behind the counter to her waiting hand, the sugar and cream being stirred in as it floated through the air. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Morgan. Let me know when you're finished with the paperwork." She said, sipping from her tea before turning back to her book. Rosemarie leaned into his side when he sat down next to her, asking the occasional question about filling out the paperwork before letting him take it up to the witch at the counter. Harriet hummed as she sorted through the papers with her magic, filing most of them away but keeping a few of them in a folder which she began to look through. "Ok, everything looks good. If you follow me, we can go to the exam room and I can ask some questions before the exam." She smiled grabbing the paperwork she needed before heading out from behind the counter. Rosemarie came up to Zane's side, wrapping her arm around his with a little smile as they followed Harriet into the exam room. Once inside Harriet had Rosemarie sit on the table while she sat on the little stool, gesturing for Zane to sit on a nearby chair. "Ok, so I know you wrote some of this down on the forms, but I'd like to hear you talk about the pregnancy, and how this happened."

Cassia walked into the dining room with Thibault and smiled at Bernadette and Walter. "It was thank you and yours? Any luck with the house hunting?" she asked her. Cassia was pleased as the maids brought in dinner. She looked back to Bernadette and Walter. They were so inspiring. Cassia truly believed that she and Thibault would be okay though everything. After all Bernadette and Walter were happy together and they had been together much longer. Cassia started to eat as she listened to Bernadette's story.

Once they were escorted back into the exam room he took the seat indicated for him to sit. Harriet asked for them to share the details of the pregnancy which he knew Rosemarie would cover but when she asked how it happened he rubbed his neck. "It's complicated." he wanted to be a smartass and ask her how she thought it would happen but he knew she meant those things that were uncommon. Having a threesome with another vampire might have had a hand in it. Zane looked at Rose to see if she would have any objections about him sharing their sex life with the doctor. After all it was her body and exploration that he would be revealing. He didn't care who knew about his but Rosemarie was more delicate a woman and might not like him telling everything. The more he thought about it he also wondered if tehri other exploration in the pyramid also put them here. No one did anything to her that would have cause this but vampires knew the power of ancient things that had ties to magic like the pyramids did.

Bernadette gave a little nod as Cassia sat down and began to eat, squeezing Walter's hand before releasing it to allow him to eat. "Yes. We found a little cottage maybe a twenty minute drive from here.. We'll be moving in day after tomorrow, once the paperwork has been processed." Bernadette explained, nibbling on her dinner. She wasn't very hungry, mostly anxious about moving into a new home with Walter, and having all of their things brought here. "That's good to hear, congratulations." Thibault smiled. "If you need any assistance moving in let me know, I'll have my staff help."

Harriet glanced over at Zane when he said it was complicated, worry flashing in her eyes before she looked up at Rosemarie, who was staring down at her lap. After a moment Harriet reached out and rested her hand over hers, giving it a gentle squeeze as she smiled. "If you don't want to say it aloud, I could read your thoughts. I promise not to invade, I'll only look at what you show me." She promised. Rosemarie glanced between the witch and Zane nervously before her eyes settled on Harriet, giving a little nod. Harriet tilted her head curiously as she read the girl's thoughts, her eyes widening a bit as she pulled back, her pen scribbling notes onto her notepad quickly. "Oh.. That is very complicated." She murmured in agreement, giving Rosemarie's leg a reassuring pat. "In addition to all of the tests and exams I'll do today I can also do a paternity test, if you'd like to know that information. But it's entirely up to you, Rosemarie." She wanted Rosemarie to know that she was here to serve her, not Zane, especially since she seemed like the kind of person who would defer to someone else even if they didn't agree with the decisions. Rosemarie gave a little nod, glancing over at Zane before looking back at Harriet. "I'd like to do it.. even if I don't look at the results right away, knowing it's already been done will make me feel better." She explained, Harriet nodding as her pen scribbled something down before the paper was ripped from the pad and carried off out of the room. "Alrighty then. Mr. Morgan, I'm going to ask that you wait outside while I do my exam and run the tests, it's standard practice. One of the other nurses will also stop by and take a bit of your blood, for the paternity test, and if you could call whoever that other vampire is, I'd like to get a sample from him too, just to be safe."

Cassia smiled. "That's great. I'm excited for you both." she said and Walter smiled rubbing Bernadette's leg. "Thanks Cassia." he said and then smiled at Thibault. "We would appreciate that as well thank you Thibault." he said. Walter knew they didn't have a ton but it would be nice not to have to do it all themselves. Cassia smiled over at Thibault. He really loved his sister she could tell and she was glad that they had worked things out. Cassia sipped her wine. "Walter after you get settled perhaps I would really like to go into town and find some more resources. There are some particular things I want to look into." she said and Walter looked over at her raising a brow. She smiled at him. "Sure Cassia." he said though he was concerned with what she was planning to do. She was powerful, always had been but now that she was starting to get in it he could see she was already going full steam ahead and he hoped he could slow her down enough to teach her how to be safe with magic and how to determine who was safe to do magic with. He had a feeling at a particular point she would want to at least check out a coven or two and he didn't want her to be taken advantage of because of her abilities.

Zane gave a nod. He knew whatever Rosemarie showed Harriet would be of her own will and that ay she could show whatever she felt she needed to. He watched the witch read Rosemarie's thoughts and he ran a hand through his hair. He didn't like everyone knowing their business but he understood the necessity. Zane sat back in the chair as Harriet gave Rosemarie the option. Rosemarie looked over at him and he gave a little shrug. He hoped she would make the right decision for herself. If she wanted to have both Celtin and himself around to take care of the child as f it was theirs then they would but he hoped at some point she would tell them. He was glad to hear she at least wanted the test available. Zane stood as Harriet asked him to leave. He walked over to Rosemarie and kissed her head. "Just shout if you need me." he said and squeezed her hand looking down at her to make sure she didn't need anything before he left. He wanted to be sure she was okay first with him leaving. "I'll call Celtin." he said. "He might be done with his stuff now." he said and kissed Rosemarie's hand before he left the room starting to roll up his sleeve as he walked down the hall.

Thibault nodded, glad to help his sister and her bond settle into their new home. It would be an adjustment for all of them, and if he could help he gladly would. He frowned a bit though as he saw Walter's concern and hesitation, moving a hand to rest on Cassia's thigh, fingers stroking her skin idly. If Walter was concerned, he felt like he should be too. "We don't need to rush things, though. We have all the time in the world, my dear." He assured her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. Bernadette nodded in agreement. "Magic is volatile.. it's best to go slow, especially before you learn the consequences of things."

Rosemarie gave a little nod as Zane kissed her forehead, squeezing his hand before watching him leave the room. She was nervous, but knew it'd be best to try to get to know Harriet one on one. Another witch, who must have been Harriet's younger sister based on her looks, came out shortly after Zane stepped out to take his blood, cracking a joke about how it was funny that the vampire wasn't taking the blood in this situation, before she disappeared down the hall. It was another thirty minutes or so before Rosemarie and Harriet emerged from the exam room, although during that time a happy conversation could have been heard, both Harriet and Rosemarie laughing occasionally, so when the two joined Zane in the waiting room they looked to be getting along just fine. "Alrighty, here's what I know now," Harriet began as Rosemarie returned to Zane's side, curling into his arms instinctively. "Rosemarie is a bit further along than we thought, about three and a half months along, so she's done with the first trimester and her nausea should be going away soon. I also know that the baby isn't taking her blood, which Rosemarie mentioned you were concerned about. That doesn't mean it won't happen as it grows, though, so I'd highly suggest we do regular exams to make sure that it isn't, so that if it does we can put Rosemarie on blood suplaments to help. Everything looks healthy and happy as of right now, though, but I'm running a few extra tests to be sure, as well as the paternity test. Now, is Mr. Vampire Number Two here yet? The sooner we get all of the samples the sooner it gets shipped off to the lab for testing, and they tend to take their sweet time."

Cassia frowned as thy all told her to slow down and be safe. "Please guys. I am being safe and I will go as slow as I have to and of course I am going to learn all the consequences first and be safe." she said again as she looked at Thibault. "That's the deal isn't it?" she kissed his cheek and looked over at Bernadette and Walter. "Give me a little trust alright?" she asked and Walter nodded. "I trust you Cassia it's other witches I don't trust with you." he said and looked at Thibault. "We have a lot to learn don't worry you will get there. In the meantime I will get you some resources so you can be safe in whatever you are doing." he said and Cassia nodded. "Thank you." she said and Walter placed a hand over Bernadette's leg squeezing it gently his thought sharing with hers. 'She will be fine I got her.' He soothed because he knew Cassia was the only thing keeping Thibault together. Cassia was looking up at Thibault trying to sooth his worried but she knew that they didn't have all the time in the world. They had her life span and that was it, unless she could do something about it. She had ten years to fix things and Walter was right she had a lot to learn, 18 years to catch up on actually.

Zane listened to the hum of Rosemarie's voice as she talked and the musical tone of her laugh. He was glad to hear it. That meant things were going well. He had called Celtin and he was on his way. By the time Rosemarie and Harriet came out Celtin was just pulling in. He walked in just in time to hear Harriet talking about him. Celtin smirked. "Vampire two is here." he said as the door closed and Zane smirked as he crossed to Rosemarie. Celtin stepped forward and his eyes connected with Harriet's and he stopped. His legs suddenly felt rubbery and his brow cressed. How was it possible? He didn't think it would ever happen again a pull like this. He thought the closest he would get was Rosemarie but this, it was something else, it was more. He swallowed and Zane looked over at him and smirked. It wasn't until Harriet spoke that he was able to move again and then only at her direction to follow him for his blood sample. She could have anything she wanted with the look on his face.

Bernadette gave a little nod, holding her hands up in defeat to show that she was backing off before she returned to her meal. She felt better hearing Walter's voice in her ear and his touch on her leg, but she still worried about the girl. She was naive, and that made her dangerous. Thibault returned Cassia's kiss with a sigh, brushing his fingers over her hair with a little nod. "I know you're being safe, my love. Can you blame me for not trusting others with you, though?"

Harriet looked over at Celtin when he announced himself, offering him the same polite and warm smile she had Zane when he'd come in. "Right on time. If you follow me out back, I'll take the sample and you can be on your way. Wouldn't want to waste your time." She said as she led him back to the exam room, sliding on a pair of gloves while her supplies floated into the room, grabbing the syringe and sample tube from the air as she prepared everything. "Ms. Rosemarie is very lucky to have you both to look after her and her baby. I can't tell you how many vampires I've met who aren't nearly as kind to their bonds as you both are to her." She said, gesturing to his sleeve while she waited for him to roll it up, taking a seat on her stool again so she could have a better angle and keep her hand steady.

Rosemarie watched Celtin's reaction carefully, looking between him and Harriet before she looked back up at Zane. "Is he alright..? Is something the matter? He's acting funny." She murmured worriedly, watching the two disappear into the exam room. She didn't know what had caused it, but his mood and attitude had shifted almost as soon as he'd come inside, and she worried maybe he was nervous or upset about something.

Cassia nodded and pressed her hand to his chest. "No I can't blame you for that my love but you're going to have to trust that I can take care of myself too." she said and smiled. "Besides your obviously not the only one worried about me, you have them to help look after me too." she said nodding to the couple across from them. "I'll learn the consequences first before any spell and I will take every precaution." she soothed him. "We'll talk more about it I promise." she said and caressed his cheek. "I'll talk with Water too. I know he knows more about my powers right now than he does so I will get it out of him why he's so worried." she said in a whisper to Thibault. "Who wants desert?" she asked to the table bringing them back to safe dinner conversation. She didn't want to have this conversation with them all ganging up on her about her safety.

Celtin followed her into the back nodding. She said she wouldn't want to waste his time and he smirked. "You can waste my time anytime you like." he said and could have smacked his forehead with how cheesy and stupid that had sounded. He watched her use her magic to get things done and was impressed. She was so natural about it that it seemed normal and it was just extraordinary. He tilted his head as she poke about Rosemarie and he chuckled. "Rosemarie isn't my bond, she's Zane's. I'm an old friend of Zane's. He trust me is all and he is devoted to Rosemarie so whatever she wants she gets." he chuckled. "He's whipped but it's good on him." he rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. When she gestured to his sleeve he was half tempted to take off his shirt for her but just unbuttoned the button and rolled it up for her. "I'm Celtin by the way. Thought you should know before ya go poking me with your needles." he teased grinning. He was goofy and nervous around her. He had lost all his suave. She leaned over his arm her hair falling into her face and brushing against his hand and he went entirely still so he didn't do something rash like sweep her up and kiss her against the wall. He relaxed as she sat back a vial of his blood in her hands. "Normally being given vampire blood is special." he winked at her and pressed the swab to his arm as she told him too. He watched her wrap it and then they stood. He pulled his sleeve back down and offered her his hand. "Nice to meet ya..." he realized he hadn't caught her name yet.

Zane chuckled as Rosemarie picked up on Celtin's reaction. "He's smitten Rosemarie. That was Celtin speech for I am totally going to screw this up when it matters." he chuckled and kissed her head. "It's your hopes being answered." he said. "Now we have to wait to see if she will feel the same thing for him. He smiled sweetly at his bond. "It's a relief to see him take interest in someone else." he admitted.

Thibault gave a nod, pressing a kiss to her lips before turning to finish his dinner. He nodded a bit at the suggestion of dessert. "That's a wonderful idea. Did you have anything in particular in mind?" He asked. Bernadette leaned into her bond's side as they finished eating, knowing Cassia must feel bad being ganged up on like this, but she had to understand they were doing it for her safety. "Dessert would be nice.. Whatever is easiest, of course."

Harriet laughed a bit at his cheesy statement, shaking her head a bit as she prepared everything she needed for taking the sample. "Ms. Rosemarie mentioned that she and Mr. Morgan had talked about allowing you to bond with her as well, so I wouldn't be so sure that you're just her friend." She smiled, having her pen scribble his name down on the paperwork and vial labels while she cleaned his arm and prepared to take the sample. "I was just going to keep calling you Mr. Vampire Number Two." She teased as she stuck the needle in, humming as she took the sample before pulling the needle out and pressing a bit of gauze to the wound, asking him to hold it while she began to put everything away before she sent the labeled vials and paperwork off down the hall with her magic, turning to him to place a bandage over the wound. "It's not as special when it's for medical reasons, I'm afraid." She laughed a bit, looking up at him as he asked for her name. She was about to answer when her little sister appeared, looking rather panicked. "Harriet! Allura has gone into labor, but the seas are too rough for her to get safely to shore. Her husband called and said he can't get to her either because of the waves, and he's very worried about her and sharks." Harriet sighed, tugging her gloves off. "Tell him I'll be right there, and I'll get her to shore safely. Also remind him that I specifically said no swimming so close to her due date, even if she's a mermaid." She huffed turning back to Celtin with a small smile, as her sister disappeared. "Duty calls. Let Ms. Rosemarie know that I'll call with the results of her other tests and to set up another appointment, and that I'll mail a copy of the paternity test to her directly, and keep a copy on file here."

Rosemarie blinked a little in surprise when Zane said Celtin was smitten, leaning into his arms as she thought everything over before smiling. "He likes her? Do you think she'll like him too? I bet she would, she's very friendly. But maybe she won't, since she's my midwife, and it'd probably be unprofessional to date the possible father of your patient's child.." she sighed, leaning into his arms. "I just want him to be happy."

"Gelato." Cassia said and smiled at Thibault. "Mint Gelato sounds just like what I need in my life right now." she said and grinned. "Oh and raspberry too. I'll go see if Phillip has anything." she said and stood. "Any other flavors?" she asked taking a mental note before heading out.
Walter rubbed his neck. "She'll be fine I'm just being cautious is all." he said hoping they would let him handle her. "If she needs a stronger hand I will talk to you Thibault but for now let's just see how she does. At this point cutting her off would only make it worse. It's better to teach her to chanel it." he looked from Bernadette to Thibault. They were going to have to trust him too. He understood Thibault's reluctance to trust anyone with Cassia and magic too though so he was being careful.

Celtin frowned at the new information. He shook his head. "It wouldn't be a good idea. Rosemarie is sweet and Zane loves her but as much as he does he is selfish with her and rightfully so." he shrugged. I'd be better off trying to find my own bond." Celtin blushed. "Know anyone?" he asked and instantly regretted it. Right when she was about to tell him her name another girl similar in looks came around the corner in a panic. He looked at Harriet as she all but rolled her eyes at the situation. She was calm and that was a good thing. He liked her even more. He wanted to help but it wasn't his place. She told him what he needed to do for Rosemarie and he nodded. "Got it. Good luck." he said and stood.

Zane smiled. "Don't worry about it Rosemarie. These things have a way of working out." he said and started to lead her out of the clinic. "We'll meet Celtin outside. Do him a favor and don't talk about it yet. Maybe next time. I am sure he is going to want to take you to your appointment next time." he said and smiled at her. "This is good news." he said feeling relieved because this meant that Celtin wouldn't be looking to bond with Rosemarie now.

"Walter will take care of her, Thibault. Don't worry. She's in good hands." Bernadette tried to reassure her brother, squeezing Walter's hand. She was nervous too, mostly for Walter's sake, but also because she knew how devastating it would be for her brother if anything happened to Cassia.
Thibault sighed and nodded, running his hands through his hair in frustration. "I know.. I know you're both right.. But I can't help but have a bad feeling about this, that something somehow is going to go wrong, that she's going to put herself in danger."

Harriet laughed as he asked if she knew anyone he could bond with. "My mother has seven daughters, most of them grown and living at home with her. I'm sure she'd let you take as many as you wanted if it meant less chaos for her." She shook her head a little at the thought while she grabbed some supplies from one of the cabinets, offering Celtin a polite smile. "Thank you.. You smell like the sea.. Any advice for someone who can't swim?" She asked, a hint of nervousness shinning through. She'd probably just have to fly above the water to guide the mermaid to shore, but she was worried she might accidentally fall in.

Rosemarie nodded a little as she followed him outside, squeezing her arms around him. "I know. I'm happy for him. And you should be too, and not because it means he'll pay less attention to me." She teased, nudging his side as she kissed his cheek. "Be happy for him because he'll be happy."

Walter nodded. "I have a few things I need to figure out what is going on. She is different than I have ever experienced before." he said. "Don't worry I will figure it out and we will find a way to protect her but she is in less danger from herself than from others. Cassia is careful and kind and that will protect her from things she could get herself in trouble with but it is others leading her astray I am worried about but she will want to eventually know others that have magic. Cassia came back into the room with Phillip who was carrying a tray and Cassia held a bowl eating a spoonful of something with a huge grin on her face. She sat back to Thibault and crossed her legs. Phillip set bowls in front of everyone. "Enjoy." he said before leaving and Cassia smiled. "Phillip understands me." she teased and Walter chuckled. "The way to a woman's heart just have sugar." he teased.

Celtin stopped as she said he smelled like the sea and he was confused for a sec why that was relevant until she continues. "You... can't swim?" he asked and frowned. He sighed. "You can't go out there alone like that then. Let me grab my board and I'm coming with you. I'll get you out to her and you can do your midwifery." Celtin said and squeezed her hand. "Put on a shirt that's tighter fitting. Rough seas are chaos on clothes. If you have a wet suit that would be better." Celtin said and ran a hand through his hair mumbling under his breath. Celtin ran outside and stopped at his car grabbing his suit and board. He was tossing his cloths in his car and had just zipped up half his suit when Rosemarie and Zane came over. "What's going on?" Zane asked. Celtin looked over them. "Of course she doesn't know how to swim and has to deliver a baby in the middle of the ocean." he muttered and Zane rubbed his head and chuckled. "Nothing ever happens slow for you does it?" he asked and Celtin laughed. "Harriet said she will call with the results of the other tests and to set up another appointment, and then mail a copy of the paternity test to you directly, and keep a copy on file." He said as he waxed his board and pulled out a divers bag and put it over his shoulder. He kissed Rosemarie's cheek. "Got to go save the day." he winked and then headed back into the clinic.

Zane chuckled. "I am happy for him Rose. He needs her, he's already better. He's better when he has something to do." he said and kissed her head. "Come on let's go home." he said.

Thibault sighed as Walter spoke, knowing he was right. "I trust you, Walter... If you have friends you trust, introduced them to her. I'm not saying I want her going out and spending all her time with you all, but knowing some others like her would probably be helpful.." he smiled when Cassia returned, catching her in his arms and pulling her into his lap, pressing a few kisses to her neck. "I know a few other ways to get to your heart." He teased, hands roaming her sides and legs teasingly.
Bernadette laughed a bit at her brother and his bond, leaning her head against Walter's shoulder as she ate her gelato. She was glad everything seemed to be alright for now, and that everyone was happy.

Harriet frowned deeply as Celtin suddenly offered to go with her, opening her mouth to protest, but he was gone before she could. With a sigh she headed into the back to change into a wetsuit they kept on hand for situations like this, braiding her hair securely so it would stay out of her eyes before grabbing her supply bag, tugging on her coat and boots. She wished her sister and mother well before grabbing her broom, the witches in her family not above the stereotype. She walked out of the clinic in time to see Zane and Rosemarie talking to Celtin, watching as Celtin kissed Rosemarie's cheek before the girl hugged him tightly, telling him to be safe. It was heartwarming, knowing that they all cared so much about one another. No matter who the baby's father was, she was sure it would grow up well loved by both of the vampires. She looked up at Celtin when he returned to the door of the clinic, holding onto her things tightly. "You don't have to do this, you know.. I can manage on my own, just guide her back to the shore from my broom." She pointed out, glancing behind him to where Rosemarie and Zane were getting into their car. "Ms. Rosemarie would be awfully upset if anything happened to you, Mr. Celtin, I'd hate for it to be my fault."

Rosemarie was clearly worried by Celtin's rash decision to help Harriet in a storm, but she didn't have time to argue against it before he was leaving and she was being led back to the car. "But what if he gets hurt?" She frowned once in the car, looking over at Zane. "She's a witch, she'd be fine on her own.. He's just being crazy, right?"

Cassia giggled as Thibault pulled her into his lap and she giggled as he kissed her neck. She pushed at his hands with her free hand the spoon still in her mouth. She pulled it out and kissed him. "You will always have my heart." she said and kissed him again before grabbing her spoon and putting it back in her mouth. "Eat your gelato." she said around her spoon smirking as she looked up at him. She knew he was worried about her but she loved when he payed attention to her like this. It made her feel madly in love and young.

Celtin frowned as she said he didn't have to do this. He smiled and nodded. "I know you could do it on your own but if you fell off your broom and into the water and I wasn't there I would feel extremely guilty. Not sure your patient will like you brought a vampire to her birth though." he said aware of the vampires own reputation. She spoke about Rosemarie and he nodded. "Yeah but she would understand." he said and offered his hand to her. "We have a baby to get to." he smirked. He kinda liked it that he was helping with something so random.

Zane pulled Rosemarie gently into his arms. "I know you're worried but he belongs in the ocean more than he does on shore most days and will be fine. He's not crazy. He's quite talented in the water. He has his reasons for doing this Rosmarie. This is the part where you let him take his happiness." he said and started to pull out of the parking lot heading towards home.

Bernadette laughed a bit as she watched Thibault and Cassia, nudging Walter's side as she smiled at him. "Why don't you treat me like that anymore? Growing tired of old me?" She teased, her nose scrunching up a bit.
Thibault laughed and released her to take his gelato obediently, although he kept one arm wrapped around her waist, keeping her in his lap. "Yes ma'am."

Harriet let out a sigh, nodding a little when he asked if she was ready to go. She followed him to his car, setting her things in the back before climbing into the passenger seat. She was quiet for a good bit of the ride save for giving him directions, but after a while she finally spoke. "I'm sure she'd understand, but I don't think she'd be happy, since you're tied together." She stated, glancing over at him before continuing. "When a vampire bonds with someone, their souls sort of merge, and witches like me, who can see auras, can tell whether a vampire is bonded or not and for how long, stuff like that. So, in your case, I can tell you had a bond a very long time ago, because she's still part of you, but also that you've grown close to Rosemarie, and that both of your souls have intertwined.. it's not the same as bonding, but it's still just as serious, and I don't want to upset her, especially when you could be her child's father."

Rosemarie let out a sigh and nodded, tucking her face into his shirt. "I know you're right... I'll still worry though." She murmured, remaining curled in his arms for the drive home. Once home she squeezed his hand, letting out a sigh as she looked out over the city. "Well.. now what?"
